The folks at Embark Films were an absolute pleasure to work with. We spoke with Jesse in the weeks leading up to our wedding to go over the plan of the day and discuss what kind of style we would want the final film to be. The communication here was great. Now, we were initially a little put off by the fact that we wouldn’t be meeting our actual videographer in person until the wedding day, but it really was not an issue. These guys are pros who made sure to work with us every step of the way. Our videographer, Pat, worked seamlessly with our DJ to record the sound system during the ceremony. He also worked around (and sometimes with) our photographer as she was directing everyone. Though that’s not to say he wasn’t willing to call out some shots he wanted to grab as well. Personally, I really appreciated that he did a little directing too, as I knew he was involved and thinking ahead about the story they would have in the final video. When it was time for him to pack up, he came to us to make sure there wasn’t anything else we wanted in the film, then was kind enough to stay late to capture a line dancing event we had planned for the reception. After the wedding, we watched the highlight film and had a few tweaks to the included voice overs that we wanted to make. They took detailed requests to make sure everything was just right when it came to the final edit and produced some really stellar work. It was exactly the style we were hoping for, with great music choices, and an impeccable flow that brings us and our families so much joy to watch. Pat and Jesse made the whole process simple yet collaborative, and they had the skills to give us some truly special memories. Highly recommend!

Best team we could have asked for!. They were fantastic during the planning process of our wedding and absolutely nailed the film they made for us. My husband and I watch it all the time because it perfectly reminds us of our commitment and love for each other. We recommend Embark Films 10/10!!!

My husband and I went back and forth on whether to hire a videographer for our wedding, and we ultimately decided to book Embark Films. They did an amazing job capturing our special day! The entire team was incredibly kind and helpful throughout the whole process. The only hiccup was that we weren’t aware the location was restricted for drones, so we didn’t get drone footage that day. Other than that, everything was absolutely perfect!

The way you filmed our day is truly breathtaking—I’m still a little speechless! The quality of the video makes me feel like I’m right back in the log cabin with all of our friends and family, celebrating and reliving those moments. Even now, two months later, it still brings me to tears. We did have a small hiccup along the way, but overall, the final video is such a meaningful keepsake. There’s no such thing as too early. Once your date is confirmed, reaching out helps ensure availability, especially for peak-season weekends.

You will receive the 1st draft of your wedding film in just 30 days! If there are any revisions necessary, we will have everything finalized in less than 60 days.

Documentary Edits are full recordings of your main events, which include the First Look, Ceremony, Reception Entrance & First Dance, Speeches, Parent Dances, Cake Cutting, and Bouquet Toss. We blend all of the camera angles and audio together to make sure you get a well-edited and clean video of all the moments that matter most.

Because we are looking to capture natural moments, our shooting style is 90% candid. We love playing off of directions from photographers, which means we let the photographer take the lead, allowing us to get everything we need without getting in the way. The only time we take the lead is during portrait sessions with just the both of you!

We choose the music for multiple reasons. We use music that builds a foundation and sets the tone for the film. It is illegal to use any song without first purchasing a license. With mainstream music, this can cost upwards of thousands of dollars. We will gladly take any suggestions from you to get a feel for what you looking for and do our best to stick to the same genre!

Yes, we’re open to international travel based on the location, our availability, and travel logistics.

Our team works collaboratively to ensure both complement one another without competing for moments, allowing the day to unfold naturally while preserving still images and motion in a cohesive, thoughtful way.
