Blue Bird Mobile Dessert and Espresso Bar
Owner Shauna Hinchen-Joyal studied pastry arts at Johnson and Wales University and has worked in the baking industry for over 20 years, making specialty event and wedding cakes as well as her signature pastries. Shauna and her husband and partner Bob have been trained by an expert baristas at Atomic Coffee Roasters and are proud to serve drinks brewed with their beans. All our espresso drinks are made with our gorgeous Italian made La Marzocco machine.
We are the only espresso and pastry mobile bar in Massachusetts! We bring the cafe to you so that your guests can enjoy craft coffee and pastries and you can relax and enjoy yourself. I have years of experience working with couples, to bring desserts and pastries that reflect the theme and vibe of their wedding. All of our pastries are handmade and can be as elegant as French macarons and as whimsical as a s’mores cookie. Blue Bird is inclusive and welcomes all couples!

Choose two flavors of our house made gelato VEGAN available too) and your guests can choose to have regular or decaf espresso poured over the top! It’s the marriage of two amazing treats… gelato and coffee!
Full Espresso Bar

We bring the cafe to you! Your guests can choose between lattes, drip coffee, matcha tea lattes, chai, herbal and black teas, hot chocolates and more! We work with you to also create a signature latte or drink for your wedding! All of our drinks are made with locally roasted coffee beans or locally blended teas.

Delicious Dessert
We couldn't have asked for a better experience with Blue Bird Mobile Dessert and Espresso Bar. Shauna was attentive to every question and need we had throughout the planning process, and her responses were always speedy and kind. She brought years of experience to the table, and it showed in how thoughtfully she approached our dessert vision. The ice cream bar was honestly one of the highlights of the night—our guests were talking about it all evening. From start to finish, Blue Bird made the whole process feel effortless and special. We'd recommend them in a heartbeat to any couple looking for a dessert vendor who truly cares.

The BEST Desserts for our Wedding!
Working with Shauna was one of the highlights of our wedding! Shauna helped create the most delicious dessert menu for us and even hand-delivered a sample box to us (at one of my hair trials, no less!) before the wedding. 7 months later, guests still talk about how delicious the desserts were! Shauna's hand-made quality is impossible to beat and we HIGHLY recommend working with her, we can't wait until we have another event and can work with her again! So happy with our decision!
We loved Blue Bird Mobile Dessert Bar! They made our wedding even more special. An affogato was exactly what I needed to keep the party going, and the coffee and pastries were absolutely delicious. Shauna was so kind and accommodating, which made the entire experience stress-free. And the dessert cart itself is just freaking adorable. Highly recommended!

Affogato was amazing!!
Hiring Shauna and her husband was one of the highlights of our wedding! Their espresso and affogato bar was a total hit—our guests are still talking about it. Shauna also created an incredible dessert table full of delicious treats and even designed custom signage that tied everything together beautifully. She was so communicative and thoughtful throughout the entire process. I wish I had another event just so I could work with her again!

Perfect addition to our wedding day
We did the dessert and cold brew mobile bar at our wedding and it was such a hit! We served assorted cookies, bars, and cannolis, plus a cold brew cart with latte options. Our guests thought it was the coolest idea, so many people keep telling us how they loved that part of our wedding. Everyone loved being able to grab a latte with a lid and straw and take it right onto the dance floor, which was so much better than standing off to the side with hot coffee. The desserts were delicious, the drinks were a huge success, and Shauna was a breeze to work with. Would 10/10 hire again for another event!
