Hey everyone! My name is Kadasia! I started professionally working as a makeup artist since 2020! I’ve always loved makeup, and how it makes me feel, and love the opportunity to share that with others! I’ve made men and women look and feel their best on various occasions, from birthdays and photoshoots to weddings and public appearances! As a mother of 2, I understand the importance of self care and feeling confident about yourself! I believe in inclusivity and equality and that everyone deserves to feel their best!
I believe what sets me apart is my dedication to my clients to provide a custom, luxurious experience at an attainable price! I have range in skin types and tones, genders and age, and love the diversity of my portfolio!

I had to find someone to fill in the day before
Long story short: I had to find someone to fill in the day before my wedding All my communication with Kadasia is screenshotted below. I highlighted the critical parts but for transparency, I included almost every thing. For reference, my wedding was Sept 13. On August 27, I told Kadasia I would create a schedule to share with my bridal party for their hair and makeup slots; I just asked if she could provide a rough time estimate for how long each person would take. She said she could create the schedule. On Sept 6, she said she would do it the following weekend because “things have just been coming up.” I never received a schedule to share with my bridesmaids, and Kadasia never asked for what hairstyle any of the bridesmaids would want. The day before my wedding, I woke up to a text from Kadasia saying she had gallbladder surgery and would be “a little slow.” She asked to start half an hour early to service 7 people for makeup and 8 for hair (in a 7.5 hr time period). I asked if someone could fill in for her because I truly believed that half an hour would make no difference. She said she asked but couldn’t find anyone so last minute. Knowing that even she was asking around for help, I started to panic. My assumption was she wasn’t well enough to do the job but had no other option since no one in her network could fill in. My hair and makeup trial took about 2 hours so I was worried that if she was slowed down, we would be pressed for time. By some miracle, I found people to fill in and told her she’s off the hook and to take care of herself. Now, she does not want to give me a full refund despite the fact that I received none of the services I paid for. She insists she still wanted to come in to do the services so I’m only entitled to a 50% refund. I was able to find separate hair and makeup artists and the two of them spent the entire 7 hours getting people ready so I am confident Kadasia, even without the post op situation, would not have been able to handle all of us in that timeframe. I would have appreciated hiring someone who is honest and clear about what they can do and what their limitations are. I also would have appreciated someone who delivers on their promises by providing a schedule reasonably ahead of time and sticks to an agreed upon start time. I know things come up, but the communication could have been clearer.

Makeup by Kadasia was an absolute pleasure to work with for my wedding day. Her communication style is friendly, straightforward and professional, which put us all at ease. As a top-tier makeup artist, she is skilled at working with all skin types and helped guide us through the process, even though none of us wear makeup regularly. My foundation looked flawless, and she truly contributed to making our special day even more wonderful.
