Kristen's Captures is a wedding and portrait photography company based in Coventry, RI. From your first consultation to your last pose, I will ensure that you have everything you need to look and feel your best in front of the camera. After getting my first camera from my mother, I immediately fell in love with the art of photography. Throughout my career, I have worked with an array of clients for all sorts of milestone moments. I know that each client is different, and am ready to document your candid, unscripted moments in a way that matches your style and aesthetic.
I have a love and passion for what I do. I understand how uncomfortable it can be on the other side of the lens; and because of that, I aim to provide a comfortable and relaxing experience! Your special day should be one where you can focus on each other and the commitment you are making to one another. That is why I offer planning assistance and guidance leading up to your wedding so all your boxes are checked! I provide a fun and collaborative environment while photographing so I can capture your real smiles and your true love!

Kristen is the BESTTTT!!!
Kristen was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! She photographed both our engagement session—where she captured the sweetest shots of us with our pups—and our wedding day, and we couldn’t be more grateful for her talent, energy, and heart. From the very beginning, Kristen was so down to earth and easy to connect with. She has such a great personality and instantly made us (and our whole crew) feel comfortable in front of the camera. She even helped me button up my dress after a quick bathroom break—talk about going above and beyond! Kristen truly knows her stuff. She has an amazing eye for angles, light, and location, and she guided us with confidence to make sure we got the most stunning shots. Our wedding day was over 90 degrees with intense humidity, and she powered through all our family portraits and couple shots with absolute ease—never missing a beat. She’s incredibly organized, communicative, and took the time to really get to know us, as well as our friends and family. That personal touch made a huge difference and made every photo feel even more special. Kristen is not only an incredible photographer—she’s a joy to be around. Surprise Proposal/Engagement
I cannot recommend Kristen’s service enough. She did everything in her power to remove any stress she could while I planned a surprise proposal for my now fiancé. Out of 8-10 different vendors I contacted, Kristen was by far the most attentive. Furthermore, Kristen very effectively conveyed a “want” to work with me. Her availability and thoroughness, even before the ‘big day,’ was everything. Any timeframe Kirsten outlined she stuck to it and very clearly communicated ‘next steps.’ The day of the proposal was seamless thanks to her planning. Also, the engagement shoot following the proposal was fantastic. As a complete stranger to any sort of professional shoot, Kristen walked us through each and every pose/step. Her guidance kept us comfortable and in the moment. Of course, the photos themselves were beyond expectation. We are overjoyed with what was captured and the superb editing done for the final product. Also, the “sneak peak” Kristen offered with a couple photos 1-2 hours following the shoot was amazing. We were out to dinner with family to celebrate the occasion and got a few gorgeous pics to show everyone right away. If Kristen is available for your day, you need to jump on the opportunity.
