Kristen's Captures is a wedding and portrait photography company based in Coventry, RI. From your first consultation to your last pose, I will ensure that you have everything you need to look and feel your best in front of the camera. After getting my first camera from my mother, I immediately fell in love with the art of photography. Throughout my career, I have worked with an array of clients for all sorts of milestone moments. I know that each client is different, and am ready to document your candid, unscripted moments in a way that matches your style and aesthetic.

I have a love and passion for what I do. I understand how uncomfortable it can be on the other side of the lens; and because of that, I aim to provide a comfortable and relaxing experience! Your special day should be one where you can focus on each other and the commitment you are making to one another. That is why I offer planning assistance and guidance leading up to your wedding so all your boxes are checked! I provide a fun and collaborative environment while photographing so I can capture your real smiles and your true love!

    Five Stars Isn't Enough - Beyond our expectations

    There truly aren't enough words to describe how amazing Kristen is. Choosing her as our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions we made, and from the moment we booked her, we knew we were in the best hands. Throughout our entire planning process, Kristen was so communicative and thoughtful. She checked in with us often, helped us build our wedding day timeline, answered every question I had so quickly, and made me feel supported every step of the way. Wedding planning can be overwhelming, but she had such a calming presence that made everything feel manageable. On the wedding day, she was everything you could hope for in a photographer—kind, bubbly, professional, organized, and incredibly creative. When unexpected rain rolled in just before our outdoor ceremony, I was so stressed. Kristen immediately stepped in and helped me stay calm, reminding me that everything was going to work out. She never hesitated to stand out in the rain with us to capture every moment, and I will never forget that dedication. She truly went above and beyond to make sure we had beautiful memories, no matter the circumstances.     The BEST Investment.

    Kristen was THE best choice we could have ever made. If you’re looking for a photographer who will put you at ease, keep a conversation going, make you giggle, and take STUNNING photos at the same time, look no further. Kristen takes her time and truly puts her all into her work, turning it into art in the process. Our sneak peak photos have stunned all of our family and friends, and even us! She worked with us at every stage, from engagement photos to day of the wedding, and took extra care to ensure we had all the shots we needed.     10/10 Book Her ASAP

    Where do I even begin? Kristen was hands down one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From the very beginning, she was so communicative and organized. She checked in with us throughout the planning process, walked us through every checklist, made sure she knew exactly what we wanted, and somehow made the whole photography process feel completely stress-free. But beyond all of that, she's just an incredible human. She's kind, funny, encouraging, and has this energy that instantly makes you feel comfortable. Before the wedding, I opened up to her about a few insecurities I had as a bride, and she never made me feel silly for them. Instead, she quietly worked her magic with posing and angles so those areas were never the focus. I honestly can't thank her enough for that. As someone who's naturally pretty shy and anxious in front of a camera, I never once felt awkward. She made me feel confident without even trying. She spent the entire day hyping up both me and my husband, making us laugh, and somehow managed to be everywhere all at once. She captured the sweetest candid moments of our friends and family, and looking through our gallery felt like getting to experience parts of the day we missed because we were busy running around trying to hug everyone. It was such a gift. Then she sent us our gallery... with OVER 1,000 photos. And somehow there isn't a single one I don't love. Seriously, my phone storage is crying because I refuse to take any of them off my camera roll. Also... I have to mention the photography utility belt. My husband is still talking about how cool it was. It was honestly kind of badass. Kristen, thank you for making us feel so seen, so comfortable, and so celebrated. You didn't just take beautiful photos—you gave us the chance to relive the best day of our lives over and over again.     Amazing Photographer

Absolutely! I'm dedicated to delivering a polished and flawless collection of images for you to treasure. There's no limit to the number of photos I'll edit. Each image undergoes meticulous editing to reflect my signature bright and airy style. Additionally, I go the extra mile to ensure every detail is perfect, from removing fly-away hairs to eliminating any distracting elements that may interfere with the integrity of the photo. Black and white options are also included to add timeless elegance to your collection.
I understand the excitement of seeing your wedding photos I am equally as excited to edit and share your memories! With the packages that include this feature, I provide a 24-hour sneak peek so you can get a glimpse of your special day almost immediately. For packages without this option, you can expect to receive some sneak peeks within the first week after your wedding. The full album will typically be delivered within 4-6 weeks, allowing me to meticulously edit and curate every image to perfection.
Rest assured, in my years of experience as a wedding photographer, I've never cancelled a booking. However, in the rare event that I'm unable to photograph your wedding, I've got you covered. I have a network of trusted colleagues and a contracted assistant who can step in seamlessly to capture your special day. Additionally, I meticulously plan my travels, allowing ample time for unforeseen circumstances such as accidents or traffic, ensuring I arrive with plenty of time to spare.
