Kristen's Captures is a wedding and portrait photography company based in Coventry, RI. From your first consultation to your last pose, I will ensure that you have everything you need to look and feel your best in front of the camera. After getting my first camera from my mother, I immediately fell in love with the art of photography. Throughout my career, I have worked with an array of clients for all sorts of milestone moments. I know that each client is different, and am ready to document your candid, unscripted moments in a way that matches your style and aesthetic.

I have a love and passion for what I do. I understand how uncomfortable it can be on the other side of the lens; and because of that, I aim to provide a comfortable and relaxing experience! Your special day should be one where you can focus on each other and the commitment you are making to one another. That is why I offer planning assistance and guidance leading up to your wedding so all your boxes are checked! I provide a fun and collaborative environment while photographing so I can capture your real smiles and your true love!

    Cannot recommend enough!!!

    Kristen is the BEST! She was our photographer for our wedding and engagement pictures. From the first inquiry, she was responsive, attentive, and kind. She scheduled a meeting to talk over the phone before booking which was incredibly helpful to get an idea of the role she would play on our wedding day, and we could tell right away that she was very sweet, kind and thoroughly enjoys her job! She did an amazing job for our engagement pictures and the whole process was seamless, and she makes you feel very comfortable. For our wedding, she goes over every detail and picture that you would want ahead of time so that you do not have to think at all on your wedding day. We didn't realize how much a role she would play on keeping the wedding day going/ on schedule and afterwards we were even happier that we chose her because she made the whole process super stressfree for us! And even more importantly, her pictures are AMAZING! She truly captured every photo that we ever wanted and even more for our wedding! She was also super flexible when we kept changing the timeline and just an overall joy to work with! I cannot recommend her enough!!!

    There truly aren't enough words to describe how amazing Kristen is. Choosing her as our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions we made, and from the moment we booked her, we knew we were in the best hands. Throughout our entire planning process, Kristen was so communicative and thoughtful. She checked in with us often, helped us build our wedding day timeline, answered every question I had so quickly, and made me feel supported every step of the way. Wedding planning can be overwhelming, but she had such a calming presence that made everything feel manageable. On the wedding day, she was everything you could hope for in a photographer—kind, bubbly, professional, organized, and incredibly creative. Black and white options are also included to add timeless elegance to your collection.

With the packages that include this feature, I provide a 24-hour sneak peek so you can get a glimpse of your special day almost immediately. For packages without this option, you can expect to receive some sneak peeks within the first week after your wedding. The full album will typically be delivered within 4-6 weeks, allowing me to meticulously edit and curate every image to perfection.
Rest assured, in my years of experience as a wedding photographer, I've never cancelled a booking. However, in the rare event that I'm unable to photograph your wedding, I've got you covered. I have a network of trusted colleagues and a contracted assistant who can step in seamlessly to capture your special day. Additionally, I meticulously plan my travels, allowing ample time for unforeseen circumstances such as accidents or traffic, ensuring I arrive with plenty of time to spare.
