    Working with Jessica from First String Violinist was an absolute dream. She responded to our messages quickly and even sent us samples of our requested songs as they came together, making sure everything felt right before the big day. When she started playing that Star Wars song moments before I walked down the aisle, I couldn't hold back my tears—it was the perfect way to start our ceremony. Our guests couldn't stop talking about the beautiful live music she provided throughout the event, and honestly, it added a whole new dimension to our wedding day.     A Must-Book!

    Jessica was incredible to work with! She learned my requested song choice and made my wedding day feel so extra special and magical. Throughout the whole process she was super communicative and easy to get ahold of whenever I had questions. Then on the day of, the guests loved her music and she played beautifully.     Such a special touch to my ceremony!

    Originally I wasn’t planning on having any live music at my wedding. My venue coordinator recommended having it for the ceremony so that everything was seamless and Im so glad we booked Jessica! I’m only sad my husband and I didn’t get to see her and enjoy her music the day of, but my friends sent me the sweetest video clips of the garden and her violin music. Jessica is so professional and was so easy to work with. Having violin music made our ceremony so perfect and we absolutely loved having Jessica be a part of our day.

Yes! For each new special request that has sheet music commercially available, I charge $25.
For most events, I wear a black dress. If that doesn't fit the mood of your event (i.e. casual birthday party, etc.) I can modify as needed!
Absolutely! They're some of my most highly requested events and I love being able to help add the perfect ambiance that guests will talk about for years to come.
For the typical event, I like to show up 10-15 minutes prior to my booking time.
I include up to 30 miles of round trip travel in the base price.
One thing I love about the violin is how versatile it is! I love playing anything from classical to popular; religious to fiddle. I'm happy to mix and match in order to make your event everything you dreamed of!
There's more to being a great event musician than simply playing your instrument well. Sometimes, despite the best foresight, hiccups can appear on your special day. Most are minor, but some can be a little unnerving. I pride myself on being able to think quickly on my feet and keep a calm disposition. An unflappable musician is an invaluable asset to any wedding!
