I’m from Texas and my faith, friends, and family have always been the foundation of how I live and work. My path started on the sidelines capturing my brother’s baseball games, which eventually gave me the confidence to move out to Colorado three years ago to photograph river rafting. Today, I’m channeling all of that experience into my ultimate dream of shooting weddings and elopements! My perspective on life—and my photography—completely shifted three months ago when I welcomed my first baby. Raising my little one in the mountains has made me realize just how fast time moves, and it makes me even more grateful to capture real, honest, and beautiful milestones for the people I work with!

Your vision is my absolute priority, which is why I focus on deep collaboration, high-value packaging, and quick turnarounds.     We booked Taylor Ancheta Photography for our wedding and couldn't be happier with our choice. From the very first message, Taylor was quick to respond to all our questions and made the planning process smooth and stress-free. On the day of our wedding, she arrived early and stayed flexible with our timeline, which meant we got all the shots we wanted without feeling rushed. Yes, while I am not a videographer, I am constantly taking videos of the behind the scenes and small details! I love doing some side content creating with the little video tools I do have.
Typically, couples book me about 11-13 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame. Some last minute openings could be available!
Sometimes, I’ll bring one or more assistant photographers depending on the size of your wedding.
Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I also offer retouching services like blemish removal and teeth whitening for an additional charge.
My turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 4-8 weeks after your wedding.
You can expect about 50 to 100 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.
In my time as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted assistant. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement.
My travel fees vary on how far and if I will have to stay overnight. I charge .65 cents per mile of travel outside of 40 miles of the Gunnison Valley inside the state of Colorado. I charge a flat rate of $750 for anything out of the state of Colorado + .45 cents per mile of travel to cover lodging, airfare/ gas, meals, incidentals, and ground transportation.
