Steven Brown Caterers

5.0

Long Island City, NY

Serving the New York area since 1991, Steven Brown Caterers provides unmatched creative cuisine, professional service and exceptional value. Our individual approach means that our couples receive the personalized and dedicated touch they deserve for their big day! Our experienced team of event planners are extremely passionate about their work. Attentive and precise, they will make your vision, big, or small into a reality.

We had such a great experience with Steven Brown Caterers when we got married at the Picnic House. They were so easy to work with, friendly, proactive, and made everything seamless. Working at the Picnic House is probably not super easy because it's just one giant room but they made the prep stations invisible and it felt like they took up no space. Wedding food gets a bad wrap and I've had a lot of bland wedding food in my life but their food is delicious! We had people tell us about how much they enjoyed the food months after the wedding! The variety of items that they had to choose from was spectacular and they made this vegetarian bride feel included and like I had plenty to choose from. Would recommend them without reservation! So great!

    Dish Food & Events

    5.0

    Long Island City, NY
    • Starts at $150 per person

Dish Food & Events is an award-winning, full-service catering and events company serving all of New York City and The Hamptons for over 15 years. Recognized for our warm hospitality and delicious food, Dish creates remarkable weddings, social gatherings, and corporate events. What truly differentiates Dish is our diverse team. We are committed to creating an awesome place to work while taking great care of each other, our partners and our guests.

Working with Evalyn, Cortney, and the team at Dish was a truly incomparable experience! I had the pleasure of getting to know Dish a few years back at my first job and had told my contact at the time, Bonnie, that I would definitely be back when it was time for me to host my big event - my wedding. After reconnecting with the Dish team, in particular speaking with Evalyn, we couldn't have felt more confident that it was the right fit for our big day. From the personalized menu, to the in house tasting, and the amazing day of coordinator, Cortney, the most important and expensive party we ever threw (and likely ever will) was in the best hands. When any changes or adjustments came up the team was eager to help make our vision come to life. A few weeks before when I wanted to do another itinerary run through, Cortney, was not just game, but so enthusiastic and supportive. As small things came up day of, Evalyn and Cortney were on it and as we were packing up, the whole Dish team helped us pack up and carry out our numerous flower arrangements. We truly couldn't have pulled this off without Dish and are so grateful for their partnership. Thank you, Dish!

    Baez Flavor Co.

    5.0

    Long Island City, NY

At Baez Flavor Co., food is our love language. We’re passionate about blending Dominican, Jamaican, and Caribbean flavors to celebrate culture and connection. Every dish we create is designed to bring people together and turn your wedding into an unforgettable experience. For us, it’s more than catering—it’s about sharing vibrant, soulful food that tells your story and honors your unique journey as a couple.

Having our wedding party on a boat felt like a dream, and Baez Flavor Co. made it even more magical. The team took such care to create a menu that felt personal and full of love. The moment our guests bit into the warm bolitas de queso, I heard laughter and happy sighs—it set the tone for the whole evening. The empanadas (with the most delicious twists!) and tender pernil felt like home, while the salmon was fresh and perfectly cooked, like it came straight from the ocean around us. Every bite carried the joy and soul we wanted to share with our loved ones. Baez Flavor Co. didn’t just feed us—they were part of the celebration.

The setup was smooth, her team was incredibly competent, and the bar was a major hit with the guests. While the food for this particular event was casual picnic fare, everything was served efficiently and on time. I've also had the pleasure of trying Renee's hors d'oeuvres at other events, and they were absolutely delicious - she's clearly a talented chef with a great sense for elevated flavors. Her professionalism and ability to manager large crowd really stood out.

      Elm Roastery

      5.0

      • Serves Long Island City, NY

We are a Queens-based community roastery that brings craft hot and iced drinks to the greater NYC area. Started with a mission to build community at our brick and mortar in Elmhurst, we expanded to do mobile so that we can be a part of building community through the connection of coffee throughout New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.

My wife and I absolutely loved having Elm Roastery's coffee cart at our wedding. It's a unique addition to a wedding, perfect for coffee lovers. I have to preface that we knew Elm Roastery very well before our wedding. They've established a place in the Elmhurst community for their excellent beverages made with a rotating selection of beans freshly-roasted on-site, delicious pastries, and for their dedication to creating a special space for community events and partnerships. We often frequented their cafe before our wedding, and every time we return for coffee now, it brings back warm memories. We were ecstatic to discover their coffee cart service, and quickly booked them for our wedding. We added-on ube lattes and 40 almond croissants, and custom cups & banner. They more than delivered, the design was elegant and charming! Our guests quickly snatched up the croissants, and were lined up for the coffee throughout the booking. It was a huge hit. We used our newlyweds' privilege to skip the line and managed to grab coffee and croissants for a much needed break in our fun but busy day. Compared to the gut-wrenching quotes from our other vendors (catering, photo, makeup), it was clear they offered a great value, without the severe "wedding tax" you'll see from your other vendors. It was a no-brainer for us. You won't regret hiring them for your wedding; we certainly didn't. They were one of the most memorable amenities at our wedding -- a treat for us, as much as it is for our guests. And you'll be happy to know you're supporting a small-business that is truly dedicated to improving the local community.

Thanks to Tracy & George and their staffing team, our wedding day was far beyond what we ever dreamt of!!!! I will rewind back to when I first emailed Tracy about our wedding catering inquiry. She was super responsive and able to get us in for a tasting ASAP. We instantly were drawn to Platinum Party Planners because they offered a variety of catering packages and we were able to pick one that suited our budget. A lot of other caterers were firm with their pricing which is stressful! During the food tasting, Tracy sat with us to discuss our wedding day vision and took thorough notes while George cooked & served us the food. Because I did not have a "day of" planner to setup all my DIYs/decor, she said not to worry and her team would handle it (ummm AMAZING!!!!!!). At the tasting, we were blown away not only by the taste of everything, but the gorgeous plating! Everything was absolutely beautiful and screamed high end, even with our limited budget. We had our wedding at RGNY Riverhead and initially they wanted us to choose a caterer from their exclusive list. Tracy went out of her way to meet with the managers/staff at RGNY and thanks to her high level of professionalism and expertise, they allowed us to proceed with using Platinum at our caterer!!! Prior to the wedding, Platinum assembled a whole timeline/order of events for our wedding day (with my approval of course!). Fast forward to our wedding day, Tracy NAILED our decor instructions, food was delicious, and the staff was awesome!! Platinum also made up menu cards for each seat, UNREAL!! Tracy only approached me ONE time the whole wedding day and it was only to say hi and congratulations!! This showed me she had everything under control and didn't need my input on anything. Once the reception ended, the team thoroughly cleaned up and took care of disposing all the garbage. All this to say, I truly could not thank Platinum Party Planners enough. Tracy & George went above and BEYOND to make me the happiest and most stress-free bride in the world. I will forever look back on that day as the happiest day of my life. Love you guys, you are absolute PROS!!!!

I hired Chef Ellen for a dinner party that I was hosting for 20 people, and she absolutely EXCEEDED my expectations. From our first call about planning the event, to the event itself, Chef Ellen was fantastic. She has such an impressive rolodex of appetizers and meals she can prepare, and she worked with me to customize a perfect menu for the evening. We chose 5 hors d'oeuvres, and she surprised me on the night with two additional ones on top of the five we'd chosen! Every single appetizer was delicious. From there, we did a sit down dinner that included a soup (amazing butternut squash), salad (the best salad my guests have ever had - who knew a salad could be that life changing!), and then guests had a choice of filet mignon or arctic char for their main course. Both main courses were so thoughtfully prepared, perfectly cooked, and the presentation for everything was stunning. On top of that, there was a mini pizza delivery crisis for my 5 and 7 year old nephews who were over, and Chef Ellen graciously offered to make pasta for them -- all while preparing a 20-person dinner. What more could you ask for?! After dinner, she also surprised me with mini passed desserts :) Chef Ellen also had brought a server with her, who was professional, charismatic and on top of everything to ensure the night went smoothly. To sum it up, Chef Ellen helped make the night so special, and I was thrilled with all of her hard work. If you're looking for delicious food, beautiful presentation, great service, and a hell of a personality, don't hesitate to book Chef Ellen. I am so glad I found her and am already looking forward to having her back for another event!

      Jillicious Foods & Events

      5.0

      • Starts at $20,000
      • Serves Long Island City, NY

Jillicious Foods is an all-in-one catering and event company dedicated to creating inspired, authentic wedding, social and corporate experiences. For us, every client represents a unique opportunity to tell a new and delicious story. Chef Jill has been telling these stories for nearly three decades. We work in a variety of cuisines, from New American to Cajun to Southeast Asian; accommodate all diets, including gluten-free, vegan, vegetarian, and pescatarian; and are proud to partner with local farms and purveyors throughout the Hudson Valley and New York City.

We had an absolutely amazing experience working with Jillicious! My husband and I are major foodies so we knew we didn’t want to have standard wedding food at our reception. We started searching for wedding caterers that would work with us to customize the perfect menu for our wedding day. Jillicious did not disappoint! We worked with Chef Jill to put together the most delicious menu of both apps and main courses. Everyone we spoke to after the wedding couldn’t stop raving about how good the food was. It honestly rivaled many of our favorite restaurants in NYC. In addition to the food, Chef Jill and her staff were amazing. They were so responsive throughout the whole wedding process and offered so many great recommendations. On the wedding day, the staff were very helpful with getting the rentals in order, setting up the tables, etc. We also had some guests thank us for how allergy conscious the wedding and staff were. We're so grateful to Jillicious for bringing our vision to life and couldn’t recommend them more! They truly contributed to an absolutely perfect wedding day!

      MR HOSPITALITY

      5.0

      • Serves Long Island City, NY

Our team has the expertise and resources to make your wedding day a true reflection of you. Besides food & beverage services, we specialize in the following: venue scouting, planning + production (partial or day of coordination), event staffing, speciality rentals + A/V, and entertainment scouting.

We couldn’t have been happier choosing Mr. Hospitality for our wedding planning, coordination, and design services. From the beginning, Mario and his team stood out with their blend of professionalism and personal touch, making us feel truly supported. Their attention to detail, clear communication, and flawless execution exceeded all our expectations. When we started looking for a coordinator, we spoke with eight companies. Our priorities were simple: someone affordable, organized, and easy to communicate with. With demanding jobs and limited time, we needed a team to handle the details, allowing us to focus on our big day. While other companies were professional, Mr. Hospitality was the only one that checked all the boxes and added a personal touch that set them apart. From the start, Mario’s genuine enthusiasm made us feel at ease. It was like catching up with an old friend who was excited about our lives—our two cats, how we met nine years ago, and even our plan to walk down the aisle together. He remembered these details in every follow-up, showing a level of care that made us feel truly special. As planning progressed, Selina joined the team with her organizational skills, vision, and positive energy. She brought detailed floor plans, timelines, and vendor coordination materials, even taking the time to review our Pinterest boards to understand our design preferences. Kiara, our day-of coordinator, joined closer to the event, bringing a calming presence while keeping everything on track. On our wedding day, their expertise was evident. Kiara met us at the getting-ready location, tissues ready for our first look, and drinks and hors d'oeuvres in our suite after the ceremony. She knew when to step in and when to stay in the background. Selina transformed our venue, blending last-minute Amazon decorations with stunning rental pieces like the ceremony arch and lighting features. She worked seamlessly with their trusted vendor partners, ensuring everything came together beautifully. They didn’t just arrange flowers—they elevated our vision with high-quality elements and professional touches that made the space feel cohesive and uniquely ours. A standout moment was during family photos when emotions were high. Instead of feeling overwhelmed, we could simply say, “Kiara has the list,” and trust her to guide us. Later, when we needed lights dimmed for the dance floor, they handled it without a hitch. Even when the cake was delivered to the wrong location, they ensured it arrived perfectly. After the event, their thoughtfulness continued. When they picked up our items a few days later, we found a handwritten card with personal moments they cherished from working with us, along with a Polaroid from our first dance, humorously labeled as the “paw-rents” of our cats. A few weeks later, Selina recognized one of us at a company holiday event and came out to say hello, making it feel like reconnecting with an old friend. This is just one more example of the care and thoughtfulness they bring to their work. If you’re looking for a team that combines expertise with heart, Mr. Hospitality is the one. They not only made our wedding day unforgettable but also made the entire planning process a joy.

From our private cocktail hour canapés through dinner, Fig & Pig’s food––and service–– was absolutely amazing. Holly and Tammy were so attentive, kind, and easy to work with. We are still getting compliments about how incredible the food was; many people have told us it’s the best wedding food they’ve ever had, and our friend Michele said the arctic char was the best fish they’ve ever eaten. We feel so lucky to have gotten to work with F&P and we couldn’t recommend them more highly!

We chose Italiana Foods for our wedding in the Catskills, NY and honestly, it was one of the best decisions we made for the whole day! We started planning the menu almost a year before, and the team was just amazing from the beginning. They were so patient with me (and my endless back-and-forths about changing things!), always kind and helpful in creating the perfect menu. Coming from an Italian family, our saying has always been “go big or go home” and Italiana Foods was definitely the biggest quote we got, but every single penny was worth it. The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully prepared, and served hot and fresh all night. The waitstaff was incredible super attentive to our guests, making sure everyone was taken care of. From cocktail hour to dinner and even the dessert station, everything ran so smoothly and right on time. Even months after the wedding, people are still talking about how good the food was. That honestly means the world to me, because great food is what people remember and Italiana Foods nailed it. Highly recommend them to anyone who wants their wedding meal to be unforgettable.

      Purslane

      4.5

      • Serves Long Island City, NY

Purslane is part of The Oberon Group, a Brooklyn neighborhood-focused restaurant group with a commitment to sustainability. We started Purslane in 2012 as a way to serve our community outside of our restaurants. Sustainability wasn’t part of our origin story, but we realized we had an opportunity to make a difference in one of the most wasteful industries out there. We are seasoned experts in executing corporate events of all sizes, ranging from galas and banquets, to private dinners, to multi-day conferences for hundreds of guests, to weekly lunch drop-offs for your whole office.

      Awarded Best of Zola
Working with Purslane, and especially with Michaela and Justin, was a highlight of our wedding planning, and we feel incredibly lucky to have had such excellent partners in producing our event. The staff, especially Michaela and Justin, are responsive, friendly, accommodating, and professional; the space is gorgeous and beautifully maintained and operated; the food and drink were bountiful and delicious, and the service rivaled any of New York's fine restaurants. Best of all, the process of collaborating to make our wedding happen was easy and fun, and Michaela and Justin made us, the nervous engaged couple with a million things to manage, very confident that our day would not just go as planned, but would be a beautiful success. And indeed it was! Of all the people we worked with. Michaela and Justin deserve special mention. They are excellent communicators, responsive to the million questions and people that wedding planning entails. They are proactive collaborators, laying out a clear process and schedule not just for the day, but for the process of working to plan it. They provided useful, detailed documentation at every step of the way, including a very helpful list of recommended vendors. Every meeting with them was fun and friendly, but also productive, punctual and a good use of time. And of course, the food and wine tastings were delicious. Michaela and Justin were so helpful in giving us a sense of how the venue would perform in a situation we wouldn't get to experience until the day itself. They guided us expertly, making shrewd suggestions we might not have considered ("Since you have an open bar, we recommend choosing a heavier vegetarian entree.") My wife and I had a unique vision for our event, and these two not only assured us that it was possible, they worked with the park to accommodate myriad details, even down to the selection of lightbulbs. It's no exaggeration to say that without their help, the event would not have had the specific atmosphere we imagined, nor would it have been the roaring success that it was. All the confidence they inspired along the way paid off on the day, when Michaela, Justin, and their staff were a machine. The service was prompt, helpful, and invisible; the food was great, not losing too much in the translation from tasting to event; the wedding ran perfectly smoothly, with Purslane on top of the schedule, keeping the momentum of the night alive as they moved tables, served each course, operated the bars, and so on with perfect cadence. We are so, so grateful to Purslane for making our wedding a true dream come to life. Our only regret is not responding sooner to their lovely post-wedding thank you note, and for taking so long to write this review! To you recently-engageds with so many decisions to make, let me help you with this one: your search is over; just hire Purslane.

I cannot sing this company's praises enough! We heard about them through a friend who was thrilled with her wedding catering through JAN NYC, so we booked them to do my bridal shower. We were so pleased that we had them do our engagement party. Now they are doing our wedding! Nick Miller, the head of the company, is your point of contact, and his awesome personality will make you feel so at ease. I didn't have to lift a finger for either event, really. I told him some basic ideas for a menu and theme, and he ran with it. He had so many great suggestions to give in keeping with my vision. He's extremely thorough and plans everything out to the tee. We were amazed at how seamless and perfect everything turned out, considering we ended up making last minute changes and adding 15 extra people last minute! Most importantly, the food is delicious and the presentation impeccable. I was very impressed with the creativity! The guests were raving about the food from both events. There is a very big selection to choose from...and it is great that they so versed in simple comfort food as well as fancy cuisine. Nick is now doing my wedding because I know I'm in the best hands. He has been in the catering field for many years and I trust his expertise. Weddings are stressful and there are unpredictable factors when it comes to planning. Nick's organization and attention to detail is honestly keeping us sane while we plan this big event. He has been in contact with our other vendors and even got us a discount! I can't recommend highly enough. I will be back to give feedback after our wedding!

Leslie and her team truly made our wedding day even more special, and we’re so grateful for their hard work and dedication. If you're looking for a caterer who provides delicious food, exceptional service, and an unforgettable experience, we highly recommend Bartleby & Sage.

Chef Aaron and the Night Kitchen team were an absolute dream to work with. We had a fully plant-based wedding, and they went above and beyond to create a delicious, beautifully designed menu that exceeded our expectations. It was important to us to impress our guests and show them how stunning and flavorful vegan food can be and Night Kitchen delivered. The menu was incredibly creative and thoughtful, and every dish felt intentional. From the seamless communication with the team to the wonderful tasting experiences, every step of the process was a pleasure. Our guests were blown away by the food—months later, we’re still hearing how much they loved it. We can’t recommend Night Kitchen highly enough!

This review is a tad long so bear with me. I worked with La Mila Catering for my sister’s wedding which was held on 27 July 2024. While planning my wedding a few years ago I knew what to expect and what questions to ask. What I didn’t expect was working with such a lovely and genuine team. I worked with Sandy specifically for catering services only. She’s spunky, lively, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Working with her has been a pleasure and I felt as if I were talking to one of my best friends. Sandy is a great salesperson. She not only explains what La Mila offers but she does it in a way that is transparent and has no unexpected costs and “fine print”. She communicates well and is direct, which I appreciate. She’s a talker and I don’t mean that negatively. She makes you feel like family most sincerely. In terms of planning and coordination, Sandy was excellent and they’re lucky to have her. Menu: When creating the menu my sister wanted Mediterranean food. Now, I believe that their specialty is Mediterranean cuisine, but they do not shy away from other cuisines. Their menu is extensive and will cater to anyone’s taste. Skies the limit! We had quite a bit of offerings for Cocktail hour, Dinner, and Dessert. We were able to have a tasting which helped us narrow down if what was selected previously was what they wanted for the day of the wedding. There we met Elie (E-Lee NOT El-lee) and Heidi, the owners, and Sandy in person. Elie is the head chef and knows what he’s doing in the kitchen. Everything was cooked to perfection; delicious tasting and the portions were filling. Aside from the food it was obvious that Elie and Heidi work hard for their business and are truly dedicated. Day of the wedding: Elie, Heidi and their team worked based on the wedding timeline that I created. They were on time to serve all their food. I can’t tell you how many times I saw Elie walking back and forth to check on food and to bring food. That guy was moving! Heidi did all of the cocktail and dessert table placement and more. They are a hardworking team and I highly recommend them. From start to finish it was easy and perfectly executed. Point blank the food was delicious and I wish they had a restaurant so I could eat there all the time. LOL Thank you again for your friendship, delicious food and professionalism. *I wish I took pictures.

      Constellation Culinary Group

      5.0

      • Starts at $15,000
      • Serves Long Island City, NY

Constellation is the caterer for numerous venues throughout the Philadelphia area, with unique locations from raw industrial spaces and lively concert halls to historic houses and iconic museums, and also offers in-home and office catering. Our dedicated team forms strong connections both inside our organization and with our clients, and these connections define us. Together, we bring restaurant-quality outside of restaurants, serving everything from intimate weddings to non-profit galas. We’ve built a culinary group that does what restaurants always have: get people talking—and daydreaming—about food, long after their last bite.

When we signed on with Constellation to cater our wedding, we had high expectations based on their stellar reputation alone, and they far exceeded our expectations on every level. During the year-long planning process, Brittany and her team were wonderful to work with; they were responsive from start to finish and very accomodating of our requests to ensure everything matched our vision from rentals to service to food. We had a backyard wedding so food service was anything but standard. They were flexible and nimble enough to service out of a barn (!) and a garage and somehow pulled it all off without a hitch. And, of course, the food was incredible. The cocktail hour spread with passed hors d'oeuvres and stations was a showstopper and I'm still dreaming about (and trying to emulate) our beautiful dual entree. Thank you to Brittany and the entire Constellation team for helping to make our wedding day perfect!

      Kniche

      5.0

      • Starts at $800
      • Serves Long Island City, NY

Kniche is a modern love letter to the classic New York knish, we turn nostalgic street food into a standout experience for weddings and celebrations. The Knish Cart Experience is the perfect addition to a cocktail hour, late night snack moment and everything in between. Our knishes are made with 100% vegan and 100% kosher ingredients and are nut free and dairy free, making them inclusive for a wide range of dietary needs. Pricing starts at $36 per guest for a min of 25 guests and comes with about 2.5 cocktail knishes per person (25 guests = ~65 knishes). Prices per person goes down with higher number of guests. Accommodates up to 250 ppl.

I booked Shelby and her knish cart for our reception and I am already planning to book her again for my future children’s bar mitzvahs. I am not pregnant. I am not even close. We are at least 13 years out. That is how serious I am. The knish cart was iconic. Truly no notes. Our guests still bring it up months later. Not the band. Not the flowers. The knishes!

      ONTHEMARC Events

      5.0

      • Serves Long Island City, NY

ONTHEMARC is a contemporary, full-service caterer with extensive experience in off-site catered events. The culinary experience is at the heart of everything we do. We handle every detail to bring your vision to life —from custom menus and logistics to staffing and artful presentation—creating an event where you and your guests feel truly celebrated.

As soon as we visited On the Marc for our food tasting, we knew that the food would be fantastic—and more on that in a minute—but OTM really set itself apart with the service. They greeted our guests with flavored waters when they arrived (hugely helpful for a mid-summer wedding), had servers ready with drinks and food as soon as cocktail hour started, prepared an appetizer platter for a quick private moment as newlyweds, and much much more. A few things stick out over all though: first, the servers were so attentive that they realized a friend of mine was absolutely smashing one of the appetizers and kept bringing those to her (even learning to take the mint leaf off as she did). Second, they rolled with the punches as we realized we may have screwed up some food placards, accommodating our request to check with each guest to make sure we had it right. Third, they had servers march out all at the same time to bring courses during dinner services, a super-professional touch which gave the service a white-glove-service feel. The food was delicious, and everyone kept commenting on it (even on the dance floor where they brought desserts!!). Overall, the food was amazing, the only thing better than the food was the service, and we highly recommend OTM to anyone considering them!

As a wedding planner many times I am managing vendors not only to confirm service but to prevent jeopardizing my clients event. Most of the time this can be frustrating especially when things are forgotten, coupled with many last minute changes, but not with Krisp Events. With Nora and Krisp Events I can close my eyes. It is important to be able to trust your vendors (especially Catering) without micromanaging. Their food is delicious, their staff is friendly, formal, and knowledgeable, and the administrative experience is seamless. Every event with Krisp, is a successful event.

      Marlow Events

      5.0

      • Starts at $16
      • Serves Long Island City, NY

Marlow Events offers full service catering from the Marlow Collective, a group of New York hospitality brands including the restaurants Borgo, Diner, Marlow & Sons, Roman’s, Achilles Heel, as well as Marlow & Daughters, She Wolf Bakery, and Stranger Wines.

My husband and I are food people, and from the start, we knew we wanted our wedding to feel like hosting a large, intimate dinner party rather than a traditional catered event. Everyone says wedding food is never great—we took that as a challenge. Marlow Events ultimately delivered a meal our guests are still talking about (especially the carrots, and the She Wolf bread, which reached near-legendary status). When we began our venue search, food was our starting point. Through some Instagram sleuthing, we discovered that Marlow Events catered at Shell’s Loft—and given how much we adore their restaurants (Marlow & Daughters, Borgo, Roman’s), it felt like a natural fit. Once we confirmed they were fully integrated with the venue, it felt like a no-brainer. Our initial tasting was exciting and reassuring, and we felt confident moving forward based on the quality of the food and hospitality. We had a very specific vision and requested a few nuanced elements—specialty cheeses, particular preparations, and thoughtful details. Some of these were beautifully executed, others evolved differently than expected, but overall it was a collaborative process. On the wedding day itself, the food was excellent. Guests raved about the meal, the pacing was thoughtful, and the experience aligned with exactly what we hoped to create—warm, generous, and centered around great food. That’s what we’ll remember most. That said, future couples should be aware that Marlow Events operates under a unique contract structure, and fees can be higher than typical industry standards. While we had a wonderful experience working with our original contact, the later planning stages introduced some challenges—particularly around fee clarity and flexibility—which required more back-and-forth than anticipated. These conversations were not always handled with the same level of grace we experienced earlier in the process, and navigating them took patience. In the end, the meal and experience were truly special, and we’re grateful for the food we shared with our friends and family. If food is central to your wedding vision and you’re excited by a restaurant-driven approach, Marlow Events can deliver something memorable—just be sure to review the contract carefully and allow extra time for alignment in the final planning stretch

      • Starts at $2,100
      • Serves Long Island City, NY

The phrase "cento percento" was born in the heart of Florence, Italy with the simple idea of bringing Tuscan style food to New York. It has since evolved into an experience like no other, including traditional antipasti, hot and cold main dishes, panini and decadent desserts, including pastries and soft serve gelato. Fresh ingredients and tradition are a reflection of Italy's love and passion for serving only the finest foods to their guests. At Cento Percento, we strive to uphold that tradition and provide you with a 100% (cento percento) unforgettable experience.

Nik from Cento Percento was amazing to work with, and the food was absolutely delicious! They were very flexible to accommodate any dietary restrictions, and were always very responsive and helpful along the way. The charcuterie board makes an amazing centerpiece, as well as fresh and delicious. Centro Percento was the perfect catering option for our small intimate wedding, 100% would book again!
