The best wedding food!
Working with Bartleby & Sage was the best decision we made for our wedding catering. Rachael was incredible throughout the entire planning process—she stayed involved at every step, from our tasting to picking out rentals and even helping us find the perfect cake when we weren't happy with other options. What really set them apart was how flexible they were with our menu. We got to customize everything to feel like us instead of being stuck with traditional dishes, and honestly, our guests said it was the best wedding food they'd ever had. Their pastry chef Hans created our wedding cake and it was absolutely stunning—my family who owns a bakery is still raving about it. Bartleby & Sage made our day feel personal and special, and we couldn't recommend them enough.

The food was sooo good!
Months later, I still have friends and family calling me to tell me how much they enjoyed it. The food was phenomenal. Usually catered foods for groups come out lukewarm at best? 135 guests and every single entree came out hot like we were in a restaurant. There were so many options to choose from; we opted for a NY style deli corner and it was such a perfectly unexpected and fun twist. The presentation of everything was gorgeous. And the staff were flawless, and not to mention so kind and helpful. They helped make my tables come to life int he most beautiful way. Rachel, if you're reading this, I cannot thank you enough! From the menu creation and tasting, to all the million changes I made with the rentals over the course of six months, to just holding my hand through the whole experience. It was perfect, and we're so grateful!

2 months later we're still raving about the food
Bartleby & Sage catered our wedding at the Wainwright House on 5/25/25 and it truly exceeded every expectation. Our guests haven’t stopped raving about how outstanding the food and drinks were. Working with Leslie and her team was an absolute pleasure. From tailoring the perfect menu to navigating the logistics of the venue, they made every step effortless. On the big day, the food was as delicious as it was during our tasting—if anything, even better. We had multiple guests with allergies, and Bartleby & Sage’s team handled accommodations on both a large and personal scale, ensuring everyone felt completely taken care of. Food was one of our top priorities for the day—and Bartleby & Sage delivered in spades. Their creativity, attention to detail, and seamless service made our wedding something truly special

A True Culinary Experience!
We couldn't be more thrilled with the catering service provided by Bartleby & Sage for our wedding! From the initial tasting to the final course, everything was absolutely perfect. The team went above and beyond to ensure that our guests had an unforgettable dining experience. First off, the tasting was a breeze— Leslie made us feel so comfortable and guided us through the menu options, offering thoughtful suggestions based on our preferences. We appreciated her flexibility and creativity, helping us choose a menu that reflected our personal tastes. On the big day, the food was a standout. The presentation was elegant, and the flavors were out of this world! Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how delicious everything was, from the appetizers to the main course to the decadent desserts. The staff was attentive, professional, and made sure everything was served at the perfect temperature and with impeccable timing. One thing that really impressed us was how seamlessly everything was handled. The catering team was discreet yet efficient, making sure the flow of food didn’t interrupt the festivities but still keeping everything on track. It was clear they were highly experienced and took great pride in their work. Not only was the food outstanding, but the overall service and experience were top-notch. Delicious
The food for the wedding was even better than the tasting! It was so good and everyone that attended was super impressed. My only note is that we missed some of the cocktail hour food and dessert during the wedding - I think the day-of coordinator could have been better catering to us knowing how busy we were during the wedding. As long as all of this is explicitly planned in detail ahead of time it should be fine!
