“We took on a lot of planning ourselves, and hired Rina to be our day of coordinator--or really month of coordinator--and out of all of our planning decisions, hiring Rina was one of the best decisions we made. Ahead of our first call, we sent a long document outlining the ideas we had--which she looked through and gave us useful feedback on as we considered what support we needed most. We had some unique ideas for how to do things our own way--and it was also clear from our conversation, that while Rina knows how to do a "textbook" wedding--she also knows how to listen to clients to help them make their unique vision a reality, even if that requires some creative thinking, crafting, or problem solving. When we did our venue walkthrough a month before the event, we sent Rina another long document, floorplan, and schedule the day before--and she once again arrived familiar with all of it. She had crucial suggestions, important questions we hadn't thought of, and proved again she was the right person to help us get prepared for the big day. That pattern repeated once more at rehearsal which was very efficient! The day of our wedding, Rina was punctual, professional, and in expert control running the show we had put together. She had already connected with all of our vendors, reviewed all the decorations we designed and how they set up, and was fully familiar with the timeline. When the inevitable surprises popped up, she was quick to roll with the punches--in a way that kept our plans on track! The entire event was not just beautiful, unique, and exactly the vibe we had envisioned--but it was also EXACTLY ON SCHEDULE, from set up to the paper lantern send off at the end! We are thoroughly impressed, and can't recommend Rina highly enough! She was our not so secret weapon. Let her be yours too! And make no mistake, while we had Rina as our month-of-coordinator--we would have absolutely hired Rina to take on the entire thing if we hadn't enjoyed planning so much (and even then, we couldn't have finished the plans without her input!). I will also say, having planned so much ourselves, it really made it very personal to us that the schedule we made, the decorations we crafted, and the timeline we envisioned were faithfully executed. It was so personal, that I thought it would be hard to hand off our cherished plan to someone else. Who could know it as well as us or care as much? But every conversation with Rina made letting go easy, because it was so clear she was listening to us, and understanding us. There is no one else we would've trusted with our plan except Rina.”

Janice kept the entire planning process incredibly organized and did an amazing job of finding vendors that aligned with our (sometimes very specific) vision. Anytime we started to feel overwhelmed, Janice was ready with a detailed timeline, polite-but-firm reminder emails, and a very encouraging attitude. Janice was also very receptive and enthusiastic about helping us incorporate important cultural elements into our day that she had not had experience previously (ex. A Japanese kagami biraki ceremony). Most importantly, Janice was extremely reliable. For example, my bridesmaids and I were supposed to get our hair and make-up done at a hotel the morning of the wedding, but after we woke up to a power outage and alerted Janice, she immediately jumped into action arranging a new location and updating the beauty and photo teams about the change. She then raced over to the hotel to help me and my MOHs pack up my wedding dress, shoes, accessories, and bridesmaids gifts and convinced the concierge to let us use the emergency freight elevator so that we wouldn’t have to run down 15 flights of stairs. Her husband drove us all to the alternate location and, miraculously, all of the hair, make-up, group photos, and dressing were completed with a whopping 15 minutes to spare! Despite the early morning switch-up, the rest of the day went off without a hitch and we knew the wedding couldn’t have gone as smoothly as it did if it weren’t for Janice’s work (both in the planning and the day-of coordination). We came into the process with very strong opinions about certain things and complete indifference about others. Carmen gently helped us understand how each element contributed to a cohesive vision. When she needed to steer us in a better direction, she did so respectfully and with clear professional reasoning, never dismissing our ideas, but showing us how to elevate them. On the day of the wedding, we truly had zero cares. She managed to honour everyone’s opinions while still protecting our vision. My family felt respected, and I felt completely at ease, which I did not think was possible! “We hired Michelle as a month-of-coordinator for our wedding and honestly went in to it expecting more of a day-of coordinator to organize the family and friends that were helping with setup for the wedding. However, Michelle quickly became an indispensable part of our wedding planning and actively went above and beyond what we could have imagined. She was so kind, patient, and incredibly on the ball during the whole process. I cannot recommend her enough. When the month started, she immediately took over the email communications with all of our vendors and solved problems before we even knew they existed. She always asked the right questions and made sure to keep us on track in the final stages of planning. During the rehearsal, she was so helpful with our family and friends that had never rehearsed for a wedding before. On the day of, Michelle was incredible. I cannot recommend her enough. She was in charge of the decorations for the entire reception area (pictured) and did a fantastic job. She was always there to make sure we knew what the next step was (from picture time to first dance to last call on the photo booth). I truly did not have to worry about a single thing with Michelle there. She even made sure that my husband and I had a moment to ourselves after the ceremony. “We can’t say enough good things about Andrea Green Events! We hired Andrea about 6 months before our small-ish April 2025 wedding, and at that point all we had was the venue and catering booked. She jumped right in, was super organized and professional, and really listened to our vision. She has an amazing professional network and helped us to secure vendors that were right for us, and made the whole process feel manageable and fun. And she saved us some money without sacrificing what was important to us! On the actual wedding day it rained, and though we hoped it would stop, we had to switch the ceremony indoors at the last minute. Andrea handled it like a total pro—coordinating with all the vendors and keeping our families calm and where they were supposed to be—so we didn’t have to stress about a thing. The day turned out absolutely beautiful, even better than we imagined, and we know that’s because of her. We ended up with a break in the rain immediately after the ceremony and guests were able to enjoy the beautiful weather and scenery overlooking the water during the reception. We couldnt stop raving about how beautiful it all was, and our guests had a wonderful time. We didnt even know about minor hiccups with guests and vendors until weeks later because she made sure it was all handled. We truly couldn’t have done it without Andrea. If you’re thinking about hiring her, don’t hesitate, you’ll be so glad you did!”
