We had the pleasure of hosting our intimate wedding for just over 50 guests at the Renaissance Event Hall in May 2024. The event space is beautiful— although the surrounding area is a bit rough, it’s a space that’s large enough to really bring your vision to life. Originally, our ceremony was supposed to be held on the outdoor patio but after a “rain plan” rehearsal we decided to have the ceremony indoors to make use of the beautiful grand staircase. Affordable space— for NYC? Absolutely. Food— great! Bar— great! Staff— amazing! Shout out to Larry for the amazing lighting. Both Larry and Lisa went above and beyond to make sure guests were served, comfortable, and having a great time. My only wish was that there was a separate groom suite that’s apart from the bridal suite. Here we had to use a foldable partition to separate the bride side from the groom side. Also, our rehearsal was double booked with another wedding party the day before our wedding which was a bit disappointing having to wait and navigate around their rehearsal to complete ours. However, this just seemed to be a simple miscommunication between Lisa and her assistant which I’m hoping won’t be the case with another bride/groom. Overall, it was the perfect space to host our wedding. Lisa was such a pleasure to work with and had such great insights on how to bring together the event in a manner that made the best use of the space. Thank you to the Renaissance Event Hall team!

We absolutely loved our wedding at The Sanctuary! We initially worked with Amelia and then with Arthur and Kat towards the end of our planning process. Every contact at The Sanctuary was very responsive and accommodating. We loved the space, especially having multiple different areas for guests to enjoy (the chapel for dancing/desserts, the tent for dinner/conversation, and the outdoor patio for smores!) and the beautiful NYC skyline in the background. The bridal suite where we all got ready was spacious and comfortable. I was a little nervous about the temperature in the tent during a November wedding, but it was very comfortable! We will always be grateful to The Sanctuary for our beautiful wedding!

All expectations were far exceeded for our wedding day at Deity! We wanted a chic New York aesthetic and the venue delivered on every level, literally. Each floor is unique, functional, in good condition, and has so much to offer for pictures. Deity includes almost everything you need for the entire experience and great 3rd party vendor connections for what remains. We did not need a wedding planner. Caio, Anastasia (our day of coordinator), and the rest of the amazing staff took the best care of us leading up to and on the day of the wedding. We were treated like royalty and really felt special. DJ and music kept the dance floor active the entire night. Finally, we had HIGH expectations for the food and cocktails after our tasting. And even these were exceeded. Everything was delicious and you can trust quality for each of your guests will be as good as your initial tasting experience. Chef James is one of a kind. We can’t rave about Deity enough.

Our experience with the Douglaston Manor was an actual dream come true! From the moment we walked in to see the Manor, Kathy, our wedding coordinator, was wonderful. Relaxed, sweet, and so caring about us and what we wanted, she never made us feel pressured or nervous and gently made suggestions which ended up making our night even better than we could have hoped. Working with Carlos our Maitre D and Michelle my Bridal Attendant was a blessing. Michelle was so attentive and helpful. Within minutes of meeting her, I felt like I was spending time with a good friend. She was so funny, kept me calm and literally did anything and everything I needed- most of the time without me having to ask her. The same could be said for Carlos. Just to give a small example, my fake eyelash starting come off a tiny bit. Without any eyelash glue on us, I was nervous about how we would fix the issue but The Manor proved how above and beyond they'd go when Carlos, unpromoted and unknown to me at the time, went out and brought me eyelash glue! It was a small gesture but it went a long way and showed me how devoted the Manor is to their clients. Michelle made sure he knew exactly what to get and she helped me fix it when he came back (which was unbelievably quick as well) . Carlos was fantastic at keeping my group organized and making sure the ceremony was perfect. We are so grateful to both of them. Aside from their exceptional service, the staff at the manor was outstanding- every room was impeccably decorated and arranged exactly as we had hope, all of the items we had brought with us for various aspects of the night were set up perfectly without instruction and the attention to detail was second to none. The food. I am biased seeing as it was my own wedding, but the food was incredible from start to finish. The cocktail hour sampling that Michelle left from my husband and I including EVERYTHING being served downstairs and was presented beautifully- time was clearly taken to make sure we were able to try the food but also have it presented to us in a really special way. Kathy had suggested we try an "off-menu" item, braised beef in a red wine sauce, and no surprise, it was easily the best tasting wedding dinner item I've had at any wedding. There are so many things that go into making a wedding day perfect and that means there are so many things that are easy to stress over. Not once during the planning process or on the big day did I ever feel worried or concerned. Everybody communicated clearly, checked and double checked things and did everything possible to ensure everything was perfect- not just great, but genuinely perfect. Oh, and the cost was VERY reasonable. Kathy worked with us every step of the way to accommodate our budget while making sure the elements we wanted were included. We are looking forward to going back to the manor for future celebrations and feel so thankful to have been treated so well. They made our day everything we ever could have hoped for!

My husband and I just got married at Terrace on the Park on 2/17/24 in the Penthouse. The venue is absolutely stunning. We had looked at plenty of venues before selecting this one. From the start, Mildred was so helpful. Answering any questions we had and making sure all of our expectations were met and exceeded. The finalist manager, Nicole, was also amazing. Both her & Mildred were there on our wedding day to make sure everything went as planned. The chapel was set up beautifully for our ceremony, and the cocktail hour in the garden suite was amazing (from what we heard). The venue itself provides breathtaking views of the city and the surrounding landmarks, such as the world’s fair globe, citifield, Arthur Ashe stadium, and others. My now-husband and I found The Bonnie on a whim, met Kate, and knew that we’d found our venue. It’s the perfect blend of rustic and chic, casual but classy, and we had a WONDERFUL day. Our count ended up being around 125-130 people and it was absolutely perfect - everyone fit it the courtyard for our ceremony, and we had the full place for those who wanted a quiet spot inside to chat / drink, or dance the night away. Chef Nick helped us create an awesome menu, and the food was a hit! Kate and Diana were amazing - they helped make our day so special, and now we have a “our” place to go out for dinner/drinks whenever we want to revisit our wedding spot! Highly recommend.

Picking M. Wells as my wedding venue was the best decision I’ve ever made. You feel like you’re part of their family the moment you reach out. Sarah was so easy going and positive and flexible. Everything we asked, she said yes to. They are so supportive of whatever you want, whatever will make your day special and unique to you. The space is stunning and unique and can accommodate the ceremony and reception with different configurations to accommodate small to medium weddings. We had 75 guests and it was ideal. It’s intimate, cozy and just so special. The neighborhood is fun and trendy and makes for amazing pictures. And I promise you will not get better food for the price anywhere else. It’s the best deal in NYC. There is no set menu to choose from - you tell the chef what you like and they come up with amazing, inventive dishes, personalized to you and the season. The food was incredible and impressive and bountiful. We even had a poutine course after dessert! All my guests said my wedding was the most fun, unique wedding they had been to and everyone raved about the food. It was pure magic and love from start to finish. I would give anything to relive that day again. M. Wells forever ️

We are so glad we booked our reception at pàn! Yuki was wonderful to work with and we were able to plan our event in 4 months time. We had 100 guests, which felt like the perfect amount for a seated dinner with full buyout of the restaurant, and we also had a cocktail hour in the yard (separate rental). We received so many compliments from our guests on the food (taste, quantity, and gluten-free options), drink menu, and service. The space is lovely and requires minimal decoration, and booking a restaurant where everything came a package deal made planning super easy. Wouldn't change a thing!

Farm to People ("FtP") made our wedding feel as effortless as it possibly could have been! My wife and I got engaged in Jan. 2025, found and chose FtP as our venue in April (after seeing and declining several other venues), and got married in October. We had originally planned to get married in Spring 2026, but felt confident working with FtP we could do something sooner (i.e., "only" a six month turnaround). From our first tour of the venue, Rachel and the team were kind, competent, and flexible. We were in regular communication with Rachel in the months leading up to the wedding and worked closely with her in choosing layouts for the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and reception, as well as drinks, food, and various other details. We felt throughout that Rachel and the team wanted to work to make things reflect us and accommodate our preferences. The space itself is beautiful. We had our outdoor ceremony with around 125 guests (weather contingency was reassuring – we got to have our outdoor ceremony, but the indoor spaces are also gorgeous if needed) before moving into the front room for cocktail hour in the front area. Dinner was in the back room across 19 tables, perfectly lit and cozy without feeling crowded. FtP did our florals aside from our chuppah, which were reasonably priced and beautiful. Because Farm to People provided both our drinks / open bar and food, our wedding process was meaningfully simplified. Our tasting for both food and drinks also confirmed that **everything** was delicious, which let us breathe easy knowing we couldn't go wrong with our choices. The food on the day of was indeed incredible. Passed appetizers and our family style dinner were both out of this world, and guests still are bringing up dishes to us more than a month later. For us, choosing family style, rather than buffet or individual platings, felt communal and really enhanced the experience. The bartenders were fantastic and were open to making custom drinks, plus there was never a line (good staffing ratios workflow!). Sound quality in the venue was excellent – our DJs, Non-Traditional Wedding DJs (shout out), seemed very comfortable working at and with FtP. Similarly, FtP worked seamlessly with all our outside vendors, which took a lot of stress off our plate and helped minimize us having to intermediate conversations. Timing was flexible for setup, ceremony, and breakdown, which made coordinating vendors and decor simple. At the event, Rachel and the staff were attentive and responsive all night. Just in case anyone's wondering, restrooms were clean, accessible, and never had lines. Pricing always felt clear and fair, with no hidden costs, and we feel we got amazing value for our money considering the delicious and memorable food, drinks, space... Everything was great. I'm only hopeful that friends of ours will get married there so we can experience it again! Everything came together perfectly: beautiful food, thoughtful staff, and a space that felt both lively and intimate. Our experience felt personal throughout, and was far from the "wedding factory" vibe some venues give off. It’s really hard to imagine a smoother, more memorable wedding day. Highly recommend!

Brooklyn Winery was a dream venue for our wedding day. From the very first interaction, the staff were responsive, easy to talk to, and provided detailed information to help us plan our special day. On the day of, all of the staff were pleasant and seemed to be vibing with the energy of the wedding. Our day of coordinator even helped us create a last minute boutonniere when we realized we were missing one. The space itself was beautiful, full of warmth and character that made our celebration feel truly dreamy. All of our guests were gushing about how dreamy the venue was and the quality of food which we were so happy to hear. The mashed potatoes and the steak were the biggest hit! I loved how our guests were able to slip into the cocktail room for dessert and catch up with each other or go dancing on the dance floor. The only regret I had was missing the opportunity to take photos in their lovely & iconic wine barrel area as it was blocked off due to all the storage and the dinner rehearsal that was going on in the tasting room. Definitely would recommend Brooklyn Winery for couples who are looking for that rustic but whimsical vibe.

From the moment we walked into Rule of Thirds for our site visit, we knew that we had found the perfect venue for our wedding! We had our wedding this past May 2025 at Rule of Thirds, and could not be MORE HAPPY for our decision. Not only is the space incredibly beautiful, but the staff is amazing, truly so helpful, kind, and patient. Food and drink being included due to the incredible restaurant that Rule of Thirds already is, in addition to hosting events, made booking this space an even easier decision! Julie and Mandy, who communicated with us throughout our planning process, were a huge help as we worked to envision our big day, and were always available to answer our questions as they came up. Additionally, the food tasting experience was a lot of fun, and made us even more excited for the wedding! Naturally, everything was DELICIOUS and our friends cannot stop raving about how good everything was. On the day-of our wedding, our onsite events operations manager, Lucia, was also a huge help, and alongside our day of coordinating team, it felt like we had an amazing crew supporting us, and ensuring that we felt relaxed and happy all day long. The space itself is also stunning, especially the skylight at the center of the atrium space, which became such a focal point for our wedding design as we envisioned everything coming together. Having access to the bridal suite behind their sake shop also made preparing before and after our ceremony seamless. The way everything came together at the venue, including flowers, signage, and our floor plan, was perfect, and everything we could have ever dreamed of. We cannot recommend this venue enough, and will always remember Rule of Thirds as a special place in our hearts where we got to start the rest of our lives together with friends and family all around us! Thank you!

This was the most amazing experience ever! We had our wedding at Threes Brewing at their Greenpoint location and from start to finish, Angie was exceptional and so, so, SO kind and helpful to us. She was extremely responsive to all our questions and concerns, and always made the effort to respond as soon as possible. The wedding industry and wedding planning process is so tough and stressful, but Angie went out of her way to make sure we were taken care of and she accommodated every concern and change we had. Not to mention, the food & drinks were amazing! Our guests still rave about the food and cocktails they were served, and every person says that the food and drinks were the best they've ever had at a wedding, which is super high praise! We could not have done this without Angie and the team at Threes Brewing, and would really suggest either of their locations as a perfect wedding venue for a couple looking for something that's intimate and cozy, and have amazing food and drinks!

Last month we hosted our 125 person wedding at the Wythe Hotel in our local Brooklyn. We could not have asked for a more beautiful city venue or a more helpful team. Our sales director JD and our event coordinator Cassie are such pros-- both veterans of the NYC wedding industry-- and they helped make the day a real breeze. At the Wythe you really get what you pay for. We had a Saturday "off-season" wedding so the F&B minimums were high but easily met with our guest count. Our 395 a head included a premium open bar, multiple signature cocktails, passed hors d'oeuvres, a market station, a plated family style meal, coffee service, a wedding cake, all hospitality staff, coat check, A/V team, and hotel discounts. If we hadn't wanted to add extra florals and decor, the space truly would've been gorgeous bare. The Wythe team helped us manage the rest of our vendors and recommended some if we needed. We stayed onsite in one of their giant suites, which was perfect for getting ready and for first look photos. Cannot recommend this vendor enough!!
