About this venue
For the world travelers, the voyageurs, and the food-driven nomads, we introduce an international marketplace. Fandi Mata seeks to enchant each guest through an evocative journey blending craftsmanship with global influences, from its Mediterranean inspired cuisine to its artisanal mezcal bar 'Little Oaxaca' on the mezzanine. Founded in 2020 by Marjanne Motamedi, Dragan Ristovski, Emil Radoncic, and Milos Zica, Fandi Mata delivers a new take on artisanal, global cuisine inspired by the vast Mediterranean region. The menu features classics with a contemporary touch and aims to incorporate eclectic, world-driven cuisine while offering an effortlessly familial hospitality experience.

What. A. Night.
What. A. Night. The number of people — literally almost every single person we spoke to — who complimented us on our choice of venue was insane. Person after person: “This venue is incredible!” “How did you find this place?!” “The plants!” "The art! "The tables!" But the thing is, it goes far beyond the physical beauty of the venue itself. It’s the people behind it. It’s the greeters welcoming everyone with four different types of wine as they walk in. It’s the staff moving the mirror moments before the ceremony because our photographer had a last-minute recommendation. It’s the waiters bringing appetizer after appetizer. It’s the succulent chicken and crispy fish arriving at every table, no matter how many people were seated. It’s the espresso martini shots making their way onto the dance floor. That is what makes the venue perfect. And so much of that starts with you, Ivana (and your team, including Arianna). You are the leader who somehow brings professionalism and care together with joy and fun. From our very first meeting with you through the final moments of the night, we felt like we were in incredibly capable hands. We truly could not have asked for a better experience for our wedding. You set the bar so high that now all of our out-of-town guests think this is just what NYC weddings are like! We are forever grateful to you and the entire team. Wedding Perfection
We had our wedding reception at Fandi Mata in March 2026 and it was absolutely amazing. Even weeks later, our family and friends are still raving about the delicious food. The ambience is perfection. The service is top notch. Ivana and her team are incredible to work with and helped take the stress out of planning our day. I am very detail oriented and Ivana always provided a thoughtful and professional response. We trusted her team with orchestrating one of the biggest celebrations of our lives and they delivered 110%.

Lovely Baby Shower for baby Mia
We threw my sister's baby shower at Fandi Mata. Our guests were raving about the food and the decor. The croquetas, french toast, chicken skewers and pizza were amazing! The live music set a nice vibe. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. The cocktails were great as well. Highly recommend for any event!

We absolutely loved Fandi Mata as a wedding venue. The venue was gorgeous and unique - we got compliments the entire night from guests. The food was beyond incredible. Drinks were great. The whole night went by in a flash - they were so on top of the organization that all was left to do was enjoy. Highly recommend your next event here!

Fantastic trio
Fandi Mata's communication style is simple, honest and direct, which we really appreciated throughout the wedding planning process. Every time we visited their venue, we were left speechless by the stunning space and incredible ambiance. Ivana and the team went above and beyond to ensure our wedding day was exactly as we had imagined, and thanks to their efforts, it was even more special than we could have hoped for. The food, service, and beautiful venue, combined with Ivana's personalized attention, made our day extremely memorable.
