I have been a photographer since 2017 and have shot over 200 weddings to date. If you’re looking to add an ally to your wedding team you are in the right place! We will provide consultation to avoid the common wedding day hiccups. Whether it’s running behind schedule or securing the best available locations for your photos. Have you ever modeled before? Probably not, and that’s ok!! We have successfully worked with all personality types. Our goal is to bring your vision to life. No two weddings should be the same. We will approach your special day as a huge collaborative effort.

My name is Manai Ford. I was proudly raised & reside in one of the most diverse places on the planet — Queens, NY. My upbringing gifted me the ability to be comfortable in almost any situation. Brides have referred to me as the “calm” during the storm of their wedding day. My philosophy is a collaborative approach to wedding photography. Blending styles to deliver you something bespoke to you!

    Brides Beware

    At first Manai was great. We met him at one of the wedding conventions. My fiancee fell in love with his work. A few days later we met over Zoom and we booked him. 6 months later we do our engagement shoot (which was when we wanted). We had a great time and we even mentioned about potentially booking him for another even prior to our wedding. About two weeks later, we get our engagement photos and they were great. A few days after that Manai emailed us and said, “he wasn’t the best fit for our specific needs” and refunded our deposit. We then asked for him to specify what specific needs we had because we had given Manai full creative reign over the photo shoots. The only “need” we had was for our wedding to be photographed. He said it had nothing to do with us personally and he just couldn’t be our photographer anymore. So we have less than a year to find a book a photographer for our wedding. It was a bit of a shock to us. We all know how stressful wedding is, and to have to find a photographer with less than year a to go makes everything more stressful. The day he cancelled almost brought my fiancee to tears just from the stress. We just booked our last vendor a few days prior to Manai cancelling. The relief of having everything settled and then it being ripped away was extremely aggravating and anxiety causing. I don’t recommend using Manai as he is unreliable.

    Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I'm genuinely sorry that this experience was disappointing for you. I understand that having your wedding photographer step away from your booking was unexpected, and I never make that decision lightly. After careful consideration, I determined that I was no longer the right fit for your wedding, and I believed it was more ethical to make that decision well in advance rather than risk falling short on such an important day. To minimize the impact, I provided a full refund immediately and notified you with many months remaining before your wedding, allowing ample time to secure another photographer. While I understand this was frustrating, I felt it was far more responsible to step aside early than to continue with reservations or cancel closer to your wedding date. There are always two perspectives in situations like this, and while I won't discuss private client interactions publicly, I stand by handling the matter professionally and respectfully throughout the process. I sincerely wish you both the very best and hope your wedding day is everything you've envisioned.

    Mania is amazing!

    Mania was our wedding photographer this past September and he did a beautiful job!! He was very laid back, and made us feel comfortable the entire day. He made the experience very special, capturing beautiful shots, and fun candids. We are so happy with the photos and would highly recommend Mania to anyone for any event!!

    Amazing !!!

    I was lucky enough to have Manai photograph our special day this past July. Most of the wedding was a whirlwind, so I am so grateful to have such beautiful photos of our day to look back on. Manai was great to work with and captured the day in such a beautiful way. Even better than my wedding Pinterest board could have imagined!! I am not used to taking photos so I was pretty nervous at first but he had me laughing and put me at ease in no time. Photography is such an important part of your wedding day, and you want to make sure you pick someone great. That person is Manai!! You won’t be disappointed! Manai is such a professional and talented photographer. All my photos look like they belong in a magazine. They all came out so well. I have the most beautiful photos of not only me and my husband, but our friends and family having a great time. Thank you so much for capturing the most important day of our lives.     Manai Ford was a photographer for our wedding and did an amazing job! Manai was very professional but also made the process very easy and fun! Manai did a great job directing everyone and keeping us on schedule while also listening to any last minute requests we had! Our wedding pictures are absolutely beautiful and Manai captured all of our special moments perfectly!

Yes, we offer photo + video packages bundles together to save $$.
Sometimes, I’ll bring one or more assistant photographers depending on the length of your wedding. Don’t worry, this won’t cost you extra.
My turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 6-8 weeks after your wedding. However 20 -30 edited images will be available within 10 days.
You can expect about 80 to 100 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.
I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.
Typically, couples book me about 6- 12 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I also offer retouching services like blemish removal and teeth whitening for an additional charge.
In my 7 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement.
