About this venue

Madeline's is a cocktail bar and events space built within an old, decommissioned pencil factory. We have multiple spaces including a main floor, a mezzanine that overlooks the main bar, a private room that holds 80+ and skylights throughout to provide amazing lighting all day. We can provide full A/V setup, kitchen, and customized beverage programs. We also have several wedding tenured DJs on staff who could perfectly set the right vibe for your event.

    Best Wedding Ever - Cannot Recommend Enough

    We had the best experience having our reception at Madeline’s! Brenton, Sam, and the entire team is amazing; so kind, accommodating, and easy to work with. Our story is a little unusual—our wedding venue burned down 12 days before our wedding. We were scrambling to find a new space when we came across Madelines in Greenpoint. Within minutes of getting off a flight, Brenton was emailing, texting, and calling us about our predicament. He was genuinely so kind, funny, and down-to-earth throughout every communication. Everyone was so patient with answering all of our questions and making sure we felt comfortable. We booked and within 10 days, the team at Madeline’s had our entire event figured out! While the whole ordeal was stressful AF, Madeline’s made the experience feel effortless. The day of our event, we were blown away by how transformed the space was. It was so beautiful and whimsical—even more so than we ever imagined. The drinks and food were amazing (special shout out to the prickly pear French 75, the mac and cheese, and the meatballs), and the vibes were honestly immaculate. Every guest we’ve spoken to has expressed that it was one of the most fun and amazing weddings they have ever been to. Every vendor was so impressed by the space, and shared how awesome all of the staff were to work with. My husband and I honestly had the best day ever. My parents and friends are already planning our next trip out to Madeline’s for dinner and cocktails! I really cannot recommend Madeline’s enough. If you’re looking to work with the coolest staff, drink delicious cocktails, eat all the yummy treats, and have the most amazing party ever, book them!!!!!

    Perfect Welcome Party Spot!

    We had an amazing experience hosting our wedding welcome party at Madeline's! From start to finish, the team was responsive and flexible. The space itself was beautiful and created the perfect atmosphere for our event. The food and drinks were fantastic, and we really appreciated how customizable the food and beverage packages were — it made planning feel easy and personalized. We’re so grateful to the entire team for helping make the night so special!

    The Ultimate Wedding Afterparty Spot!

    Our wedding afterparty at Madleine’s was unreal! Brenton was amazing — so easygoing, accommodating, and genuinely fun to work with. He made the whole process effortless and gave us the freedom to truly make the space our own. We got to take over the venue for the night and throw the best dance party you could imagine. Being able to bring our own DJ, party favors, and decor made it feel so personal and perfectly us. The staff was great, the energy was incredible, and the space itself couldn’t have been a cooler backdrop for a celebration. If you’re looking for a spot to keep the party going in style — this is it.

    This is an AWESOME greenpoint bar, and the team there are very lovely and accommodating of parties! Highly recommend for the good vibes and lovely staff!

    Perfect for your wedding weekend events

    This was the perfect location for our wedding weekend event. The team was responsive, professional, and flexible with our needs and budget. The space is chic and the bartenders were so fantastic. The food and cocktails were really impressive. Multiple guests made a point to compliment our bartender, Mischa. I would 100% recommend this venue to anyone looking to host welcome drinks, a bridal shower, or an after wedding brunch.

Most Friday Saturdays are what we consider 'peak'.
Sunday-Thursday allows us a lot more flexibility.
Depends. We provide all alcohol unless it's specialty product that we cannot source (i.e. some champagnes)
No but we have 3 parking lots within 5-10 minutes of the venue.
Yes, all our facilities are wheelchair accessible. We have a ramp at the main entrance and an ADA lift on the side entrance.
Full venue reservations includes six-eight hours from start to finish, including the time it takes our staff to set up and clean up.
No, our venue is fully insured.
Booking fees for our facilities, and all payments made including deposits, are non-refundable. If you cancel your event within 40 days of your booked date, we’ll bill you the full amount of all estimated charges.
