The Bonnie : Astoria's favorite event venue. The Bonnie's unique layout of multiple rooms, intimate spaces, and a sprawling bar garden can accommodate events from 10 to 200 guests. Parties may be booked for brunch, lunch, dinner or cocktail ceremonies and receptions. We have an extensive array of customizable food and drink packages available, including various party platters and open bar options. Our events coordinator will work with you to create your perfect event!

The Garden

Unique, secluded outdoor space decorated with greenery, cobblestone and romantic lighting. A true oasis in the busy city.

Our bar garden is available for private events from Spring to Fall, weather permitting. Our beautifully landscaped space offers a charming backdrop to host all kinds of celebrations, from birthday parties to private weddings. With the reclaimed city cobblestones, manicured foliage and flowers, and antique style lighting - it creates one of the most stunning and intimate outdoor party venues of New York.

    I threw my best friend's wedding here and while I love the Bonnie for meals, drinks, and brunches- I would not in good conscience recommend this as a wedding venue. The food staff on the day of was amazing. However communication was poor, there was no assistance on setting up or breaking down, the included AV support was unavailable, coat check service wasn't on top of things, and it often felt like the minimum spend kept being pushed higher and higher and we didn't see much of the stuff I felt was paid for. I felt like a chicken running around with my head cut off, it wasn't the worst but definitely stressful and frustrating. I'm glad the couple wasn't the ones who had to deal with it because at least they had a great time!

    The Bonnie staff, in particular their exception events coordinator Tali, made our dream wedding come to life. Their expertise, dedication, communication and support throughout the entire wedding process felt like a Godsend. We were blown away by how seamlessly everything came together. They ensured that every aspect of the evening ran smoothly, allowing us to focus on our guests and each other. We frequent the Bonnie for dinners and brunches and when we first laid eyes on their beautiful enclosed garden - we knew it was the perfect spot for our wedding. The food is UNREAL. Truly the best food in Queens. Our guests were floored by the menu options and it was the most authentic and intimate vibe. We are over the moon & as soon as we get photos back - I will happily share them to demonstrate how beautifully decorated the space was!!! If you're looking for a venue please look no further -- the Bonnie has it all. Thank you so much to everyone there. It really was the absolute best.

    My now-husband and I found The Bonnie on a whim, met Kate, and knew that we’d found our venue. It’s the perfect blend of rustic and chic, casual but classy, and we had a WONDERFUL day. Our count ended up being around 125-130 people and it was absolutely perfect - everyone fit it the courtyard for our ceremony, and we had the full place for those who wanted a quiet spot inside to chat / drink, or dance the night away. Chef Nick helped us create an awesome menu, and the food was a hit! Kate and Diana were amazing - they helped make our day so special, and now we have a “our” place to go out for dinner/drinks whenever we want to revisit our wedding spot! Highly recommend.
