“We had our wedding here in February—it was a beautiful space with large windows that let in so much natural light. We loved how our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception were all on different floors. The View was very accommodating of our request to also have a traditional Korean ceremony in the reception space. Overall, it’s a simple, but modern and elegant venue. Food and drinks were amazing—the guests particularly praised the cocktail hour foods. (We also had a donut wall, which was crazy!) And finally, the staff were all so lovely. Vivian and her team helped make sure that our day went as smoothly as possible.”

The Liberty House team transitioned the ceremony into the reception room so quickly and beautifully that it felt like it had been the plan all along. It was seamless, elegant, and still carried all the magic we had dreamed of. Danielle Villa was our planner and honestly, we can’t say enough about her. She was incredible — professional, calming, and truly dedicated to making our day unforgettable. She made herself available on weekends, late nights, and any time we needed a call or check-in. We trusted her completely with one of the most important days of our lives, and she outdid herself in every way possible. Danielle didn’t just help us plan a wedding — she ran the show with grace and precision. Gabby, our day-of assistant, was also a total rockstar. My partner and I didn’t even have a chance to think about a drink or a bite to eat — she made sure we were always taken care of, without us even realizing how much she was doing behind the scenes. Every little detail, every moment, Gabby was right there, keeping everything running smoothly and ensuring we were comfortable and stress-free. The staff overall was phenomenal — warm, attentive, and professional. The view was absolutely insane (you just can’t beat that NYC skyline backdrop), and the food… wow. “Gabe and the entire crew at HH knocked it out of the park. The entire day went flawlessly, they worked seamlessly with our vendors, set up the rooms better than I could have ever imagined. Not to mention the space itself/location is GORGEOUS….but funny enough, we booked the space for the insane views of NYC, but happened to get the foggiest day of December - it. Did. Not. Matter. !!! “Even before stepping foot inside 87 Sussex it already checked a lot of boxes for us. It's a stylish restaurant with a quality menu, walking distance from our church, and not a wedding factory like so many of the larger venues in the area are. From the moment we starting figuring out logistics with Emily we knew we lucked out. Emily was responsive, communicative, and helpful in accommodating our requests and finding solutions to any issues that arose in the planning process. The day of the wedding was everything we hoped for and more. The weather was perfect, so our guests took full advantage of the space- indoor and out. After dinner the downstairs tables were moved to accommodate a dance floor. It was a fun, intimate party with family and friends. From the cocktail hour through the dinner, the food and drinks were elevated, delicious and bountiful. Three months later our guests are still raving about the food. It's not often that wedding guests compliment the staff as much as the dinner itself, but that was also the case at 87 Sussex. The bartenders, hosts, management, and waitstaff were in a festive mood and incredibly attentive to all of our guests. It all made for a special, once-in-a-lifetime celebration.”
