My husband and I recently celebrated our wedding, and we are eternally grateful to Kritzie and the whole team at Unruffled for their extraordinary work to make our big day so special. Our celebration had 100 guests coming to Westchester, NY from all over the world, with a ceremony at the historic Old Dutch Church in Sleepy Hollow and the reception at Windrose-on-Hudson. Featuring a blend of different cultural traditions and fully bilingual events, this wedding had a lot of moving parts! With Unruffled as our Month-Of Coordinators, everything came off perfectly. We had the pleasure of working with both Emily and Kritzie in our planning sessions. Kritzie, Genesis, and Robert took care of us on the big day. The Unruffled team could not have been more thoughtful, patient, accommodating, and attentive. From the welcome questionnaire to the planning meetings to the site visits to the rehearsal to the wedding day itself, they were not only organized and helpful, but a very calming presence. Their deep attention to detail allowed us to trust that everything big and small would get taken care of, and everything indeed came out perfectly. Because Kritzie and Emily really took the time to get to know us, they were able to make many helpful suggestions throughout the planning process (and during the wedding day itself) that perfectly aligned with and complemented our vision for the event. Kritzie did a great job working with our other vendors, including our reception venue, where we were the first wedding they ever held. On the wedding day, Kritzie and Genesis kept everything moving smoothly without being intrusive at all. We were able to really enjoy our wedding because we knew they had everything well in hand. Robert took amazing video of our private Tea Ceremony (before the professional videographer arrived), and was on top of troubleshooting any minor hiccups throughout the day (clutch job quickly fixing the cocktail hour speaker!). Our families, the church, the reception venue, and our vendors also uniformly (and completely unprompted!) told us that Kritzie and the whole team were the best wedding coordinators that they had ever worked with - high praise indeed! We consider ourselves lucky to have worked with Kritzie, Emily, Genesis, and Robert. I can't stop thinking about how spectacular and perfect and fun our wedding was, and that was in no small part due to their help! We are very grateful and cannot recommend them highly enough! Day Of Coordinator: Terri Rose A Words literally cannot capture just how amazing Terri was during my entire wedding process. I hired her as my DOC, but she was 1000000x more than that. She was there every single step of the way, guiding me through ideas, reminding me of deadlines (I was the worst bride and constantly forgetting when I needed to hire vendors, etc.), and searching for vendors for me. She reviewed contracts, dealt with vendors with any questions/concerns from start to finish. She advertises as a DOC, but I promise with Terri you get SO MUCH MORE! The day of the wedding, I did not know one single thing that went amiss - she and her assistant handled everything so smoothly. She truly made my wedding what it was, and I cannot recommend her enough.

Working with Miranda, Raquel, and Kylie was a true pleasure. Kylie assisted us at our rehearsal the day before our wedding, practicing the ceremony to ensure we understood the process and best practices for each bridal party member. Miranda and Raquel were there for us on our wedding date, helping set up decor, running to get breakfast for the bridal party, and being the point of contact with all our vendors. At one point, as the bride, I was getting overstimulated with all the pictures being taken in a short amount of time, and Miranda/Raquel had my back by making sure I had water and 30 minutes to center before our ceremony. I’m not even sure where to begin to describe how amazing Events by McKenna is at what they do!! McKenna is the most kind, helpful, and enthusiastic person to assist you during such an important time in your life. She made sure everything went perfectly on our wedding day and every day leading up to it! When we first started our wedding planning journey, we only knew where we wanted to have it, and due to the venue location not regularly being used for weddings, we needed to outsource vendors for everything. That's where McKenna came in and helped us out by hand-picking every vendor that she knew would provide the exact things we were looking for. From catering, florals, furniture rentals, DJ, and all the little details, she knew who would be perfect for the job and she was right about every single one! Every time we had a question or a crazy idea, she had an answer right away and she would do everything she could to make it happen. One thing that we were really hoping for was getting a disco ball above our dance floor, but since we were outdoors, it wasn’t looking promising. McKenna was the one who made sure that we got our disco ball, and it was absolutely perfect! That’s just one example of the many ways McKenna ensured our dream wedding would become a reality. On the day of, McKenna and her team were so efficient and handled everything so that my husband and I could relax and focus on ourselves. We got to our venue and everything was already done and ready to start the day! McKenna was amazing at time management throughout the day, and she was so helpful to not only us, but our families, wedding party and guests as well. Everything went perfectly on schedule and all the crazy ideas that we had came to life with no issues! It was truly the best day of our lives and it wouldn’t have been possible without McKenna’s help! We found Evelyn and Love & Laughter through Instagram and we can’t tell you how much we enjoyed our entire planning experience! We had Christina do our month-of/day-of coordination for our wedding and she truly went ABOVE AND BEYOND!!! It's been a few weeks and I'm still in awe with what she did with my mess of decorations that I threw at her!!! I work in a creative field myself, so I got down and dirty with the D.I.Y. for our big day. I, kid you not, had 300 colorful bud vases, 200 colorful candle holders/votives, and a massive amount of other silly decorations for her to set up for us. I did my best to stay organized for her sanity - but let me tell you - IT WAS A HUGE COMPLICATED JOB and she did it with such ease. I kept apologizing for the amount of work I was giving her, I felt like I was being a little insane with it all LOL... but she was incredibly kind, calm, and reassuring with me through the whole process and kept telling me to stop apologizing LOL!! She is so super knowledgable about everything and has such good instincts about event planning. I added on a 30 minute planning session a few months before she started her coordinating for me - and it was incredibly helpful. Aside from her eye for decorations and impeccable creativity, she was also so so so amazing in coordinating the event in general. I had multiple people from the wedding party ask "wait so that's your coordinator?" and then follow with something along the lines of "she's awesome she just told me where to go and what to do so fast - and I was like YES M'AM" All of the party loved working with her, from my parents to my in-laws. I cannot stress enough how much of an amazing person she is through and through - and if you're lucky enough to get in her books for your wedding, you won't regret it!!

If you want someone who is going to take care of every detail before you can even think to ask about them, she's your girl. From our first call, my husband and I knew we would be working with her. She has such a calming demeanor but she's also incredibly resourceful and uses her knowledge and abilities to the max. Having no family in the area, I really had to lean on her for a lot more than I thought I might, especially when I was having issues with my wedding dress. She'll be real with you about what's possible within your budget and she really helped us stay within ours - she has a great system that she provides you access to. Words can't describe how thankful I am to have had Jess and Jackie on my wedding day!!! Our day wouldn't have nearly gone as smoothly without them. They truly embraced the day and put all their energy into knowing inside and out our timeline, every detail, our vendors and our bridal party. I (the bride) was able to go about my entire day without having to worry about a single thing because they were taking the lead and handling it all. With a big bridal party and family, they ensured our most important people were where they needed to be and that we got all the photo shots that I had specified on my extensive list. All my expectations for the day that I had talked with them the months prior to our wedding were met and exceeded. Working with Mia made our wedding day impossibly easy and free of stress. She is incredible in every way! The service she provided to us was invaluable throughout the whole wedding planning process. Our wedding was at a relatively full service venue, so I initially wasn't sure whether working with Mia was necessary. However, I can confidently say that reaching out to her was the best decision I made in the entire wedding planning process! I am generally very Type A, so I was less concerned about everything going smoothly on the wedding day and more worried about being able to truly enjoy the day and live in the moment. I stumbled upon Mia's podcast and, after listening to only a handful of episodes, immediately knew I needed to contact her. In the month or so leading up to our wedding day, I felt uncharacteristically at ease, and I am certain that I owe this sense of calm to Mia. Being able to brain dump little details, concerns, etc. to Mia was incredibly helpful. It made me feel like somebody else cared as deeply about everything going right as I did. One particular puzzle involving our transportation was driving me crazy, and I spent several days poring over some possible solutions. I finally decided to send an email to Mia outlining the problem, and within a half hour, she sent back a brilliant, detailed solution that ended up working perfectly. Although I was already impressed by Mia before the wedding day, I couldn't believe just how valuable her services were on the actual day. There were so many points where Mia swooped in to help before I even knew help was needed. She acted as my “eyes and ears” that afternoon as other vendors set everything up at the venue. She was right on top of contacting the trolley company when they were a few minutes late for picking up the wedding party (I actually didn't even know they were running late until later that day, as it was all handled before I even had a chance to stress about it). She was right there with safety pins when a clasp on my dress was faulty. And she even held an umbrella over me to block the sun during photos (not sure where she even got it – she was like Mary Poppins, with the perfect supplies appearing in thin air!) It was almost as if she was in multiple places at the same time. Our wedding party was also grateful to have her phone number throughout the day for anything that came up. At the end of the event, Mia loaded all of the decor into our car and even took many of our leftover florals to a nearby nursing home the next day so they wouldn’t go to waste. I genuinely don't know who would have taken care of things like this if Mia wasn't there. Even now that our wedding day was a few weeks ago, I continue to hear stories of Mia that I didn't even know about. For example, at one point, my mom was trying to help some older relatives call a cab back to their hotel before the end of the night. All of a sudden, Mia appeared by her side and took care of it. I am so grateful to her for handling things like this so my mom could fully enjoy such an important day for our family. If you are unsure about whether you need a day-of coordinator, you will not regret working with Mia! Just knowing Mia was there made my stress level infinitely lower. I truly felt like I could soak up the joy of our wedding day without worrying about the little details and the flow of the day. Thank you, Mia, for playing such a big role in making our wedding day as special as it was!
