Hiring her as our 2-month out planner and day-of coordinator was one of the best decisions we made. She also was able to think on her feet and effectively communicate with our other vendors when some plans changed due to inclement weather. Andrea was instrumental in helping us craft our ceremony. We had a family member officiate, and none of us had ever created a ceremony before. Andrea gave us structure, options, and gentle guidance to help shape something that felt totally unique to us. Andrea was present, warm, and totally professional. She kept us on schedule with total ease, never interrupting a conversation or inserting herself, yet always there at the right moment. Her ability to manage the moving parts while making sure we felt calm and supported was remarkable. So many members of our family and wedding party went out of their way to comment on how wonderful Andrea was. One of our bridesmaids put it best: “I’ve never seen someone as good at their job as Andrea.” And we totally agree. We would’ve been absolutely lost without her. Andrea is a true professional, an incredibly kind human, and simply outstanding at what she does. If you’re even thinking about hiring her, do it. You’ll be in the best possible hands.

The Get Together Events Co. (TGT) was the easiest and best (after saying 'yes'!) decision of our wedding planning process. We worked closely with Lauren (founder) until she did the "official hand-off" with our onsite manager, Kate, a couple of days before our wedding once all final details were in place. Kate had been included in all communications leading up to this and she didn't miss a beat. The hand-off was seamless! The spreadsheets, checklists, vendor emails and phone calls—everything generated by TGT—was so incredibly helpful in keeping us on track and not overwhelmed. They really helped us to be able to enjoy the last few weeks before our wedding by managing all of the vendor questions and final set-up details. Lauren's upbeat, friendly personality was wonderful as well! she could always put a smile on my face and made us laugh. On wedding day, Kate was our manager and Kristen her coordinator. There could not have been 2 more wonderful, sweet, attentive, helpful, thorough and just plain awesome people to be there overseeing everything like the magical angels that they are. They were both so helpful to my husband and me separately in the morning while getting ready, all through the day and night with making sure everything made it back to our hotel room...including packaging up food for a late night snack! They managed running our rehearsal with military precision and kept us on track time-wise throughout the wedding. We have no idea if there were mishaps "behind the curtain" as everything appeared to run seamlessly. I could list 1,001 other things they took care of for us. Our wedding was simply the best day of our lives (it's cliche for a reason!), and I'm confident in saying that it was so because TGT was there by our sides. Lauren, Kate, Kristen and TGT will always hold a special place in our hearts as we are so, so thankful for them. We cannot recommend The Get Together Events Co. highly enough. Thank you, TGT!

If you're looking for a planner that is extremely thorough, detail-oriented, flexible, and goes above & beyond to make sure your big day goes seamlessly, look no further than Lauren & her team. We had a wedding that was highly personalized, unconventional in many ways, and demanding in terms of timelines, details, and aesthetics. Here are some ways the City & Terrace team went above & beyond to make our vision come to life: - Provided us with multiple scenarios & projected costs to consider in how to run reception since we were unconventionally catering from an independent restaurant that doesn't have wedding catering expertise. - Sourced Chinese porcelain tea jars from an independent supplier in Brooklyn to accomplish our very niche aesthetic demands. - Pulled a lot of strings with other vendors to buy us extra time and opportunities to see and review our tablescape design. - Our wedding day schedule was very tight with multiple activities planned down to the minute. WOW! I can not say enough on how appreciative I am of Bari and Antonia. A month before my wedding I realized I desperately needed Day of Coordinators. Bari and Antonia were so responsive and assuring. They took on my wedding with such grace. No request of mine was too much. They travelled all the way to Jersey City from Philly and were so accomodating. They spent time with all our vendors on the day of the wedding, helping set up with the florist and some of my DIY decor. They made sure my ceremony procession ran smoothly. They made sure all the little details were taken care of. The night of my wedding, the only thought I had was to have a good time, and thats because Bari and Antonia did the rest. I highly recommend Charissa and her team if you're looking for a wedding coordinator/planner! She is so professional, organized, and just the nicest person ever. We had so many questions and worries but Charissa helped us feel at ease throughout it all. She went ABOVE AND BEYOND on the day of the wedding... literally hauling extra chairs with her throughout the botanic gardens so we could get our photographs!! LOL! You can just tell how much she cares about her clients and we so appreciated the effort. We also had Kevin on her team set-up the decor at the venue and they did an amazing job -- we were blown away when we arrived! We got tons of compliments from our guests at how lovely the entire wedding was and I know we could not have pulled it off without Charissa / Simply Loved Weddings!!

Jessica & Denecia were both amazing from the first initial point of contact Jessica was responsive she answered our millions of questions and concerns and on the wedding day she executed everything so well she was calm at all times and kept everyone else calm she made sure all of the vendors were there and that everything and everyone was setup. Once the wedding was over she made sure everything was packed up for me and put in its designated place she made sure I didn’t have to worry about anything! Her communication was exceptional and she’s such a hard worker and so was Denecia who helped with setup and coordinating the wedding party . I highly recommend! :)
