Our wedding at Deity Brooklyn in June 2024 was absolutely magical! I would 100% recommend Deity to anyone looking for a unique, all-inclusive wedding venue in NYC. From the up-front pricing information, to the first tour with Caio, to securing our date, coming in for a menu tasting and having our planning meeting with Anna and Kat - every step of the way reinforced my confidence that choosing Deity as our wedding venue was the right choice! The space is a beautiful historic building that's been converted to a four story (plus rooftop!) party venue. I loved that Deity provides all the dinnerware, linens and candles, it really limited the decisions we had to make so we could focus on personal touches for our day. We wanted our wedding to feel like an amazing house party, which Deity perfectly delivered. Anna was an incredible coordinator, so on top of everything and thoughtful. The day-of team ran everything so smoothly - I honestly wasn't stressed for a moment, because everyone was organized, calm and clearly loves what they do. The chef and DJ (part of the all-inclusive pricing!) were also amazing. Our guests are still raving about the delicious family-style dinner from the mind of Chef James; and how DJ BenHaMeen read the room and kept us dancing and singing until the wee hours of the morning. We hired Zach back in April to DJ for our 10th year anniversary party. We bought out a restaurant so we had the celebration split between a cocktail hour, dinner and then dancing after dinner Zach asked us for a list of songs/playlist for our songs, and we gave him 2 sets: One for cocktail hour/dinner and one for the dancing section. The vibes were amazing during the cocktail hour and dinner. My parents personally loved some of their very own favorites playing as we were all chatting and having dinner. Once the dinner service ended, music transitioned into Disco/Salsa/Merengue and it was great to see our friends jumping from their chairs and into the dance floor. We’ve heard nothing but great compliments from friends and family on the music and vibes through the night and the great pickup during the happy hour! We’ll be forever thankful for your help in making the night a memorable one for us and our loved ones.

There is not enough good things we can say about Sarah! From day 1, she had great communication before the proposal while deciding the perfect location and how we would meet up with her. She executed flawlessly and I never saw her until the ring was on my finger even though she followed us for a bit before the big moment. She made us feel so comfortable for the photoshoot after and was willing to go to a few different spots with us all while carrying all of our stuff so it wouldn’t be in our pockets for the pictures. We received the sneak peeks the next day and were blown away with how well they turned out, she nailed it!! She got the big “I do” moment which was most important and then captured so many other sweet moments right before and after that I will forever be so grateful we can relive because of her photos. Brooklyn Winery was the first venue that we looked at and we immediately knew that it was the perfect fit for us. The space is absolutely beautiful and has the perfect layout for a wedding. The greenery wall was the perfect backdrop for our wedding ceremony. We also loved the skylights and all of the fun lighting fixtures throughout the space, which made for such a cozy and intimate atmosphere. We also had wonderful interactions with every single person that we worked with at Brooklyn Winery. Our first conversation and venue tour with Tatiana was extremely informative and helped to answer all of the questions that we had. This made us feel comfortable in our decision to choose Brooklyn Winery for our wedding. We got to meet more of the venue staff during our tasting and all of them were so kind to us. Everyone came over to introduce themselves and get to know us. We had dinner at the restaurant after our final walkthrough and were able to see some of the venue staff from the tasting, who remembered us and happily accommodated our dietary restrictions. And most importantly, we absolutely LOVED working with our Event Manager, Marissa Allain! Marissa was incredibly helpful in the months leading up to the wedding, providing quick responses to all of our questions. She kept us organized and thought through every little detail so that everything would run smoothly on the day of the wedding. Marissa helped us feel at ease throughout the whole process of wedding planning. She was so warm, genuine, and thoughtful and we feel so lucky to have had her as our event manager. We don’t know how we could have done it without her. The food was also a highlight of having a wedding at Brooklyn Winery. We had several guests with food allergies / dietary restrictions including dairy free, gluten free, pescatarian, vegetarian, and more. Brooklyn Winery was able to help us modify the dishes that selected to accommodate all of these dietary restrictions and make sure that there would be something for everybody to enjoy. And the food was delicious! We were blown away at how good it was and received countless compliments from friends and family. Thank you to the Brooklyn Winery team for helping us have a beautiful wedding that we will remember for the rest of our lives :)!

It's my pleasure to add onto those glowing reviews and recommend them to anyone in search of hair and makeup, irrespective of how you identify. They were communicative and easy to coordinate with. They were flexible with timing and accommodated all of our needs, and guided us through the process of figuring out what we wanted. For our wedding day, they did hair and makeup with an associate for some of our wedding party, and everyone loved their looks. Ahead of time she was great about getting details of exactly what we wanted, so that on the big day she just slipped in and out seamlessly without pulling us away from the fun. Where to even begin! First off, my wife and I had a fairly large wedding for NYC, roughly 200 people, so when we started to look at venues, we were so nervous about what we would find. Rule of Thids was actually the first venue we saw, and we were blown away by the space. If you’re renting out the full venue, you get access to the entire restaurant, plus the event space, as well as the outdoor area. It makes the flow of the wedding so nice, so everyone wasn’t crammed into one space as they were trying to flip it for the ceremony, dinner, and dancing. We were also able to rent out the photo studio attached to the sake shop to get ready in, so we were on-site all day, which was AMAZING. We could easily discuss things with our day-of coordinator, florist, etc., and the space was so large and had impeccable light (our makeup artist and hair stylist were super happy with it!). We chose to use the venue coordinator, Julie, as our day of coordinator, and we cannot say enough good things about her. She was incredibly responsive, super organized, and comes from the wedding industry, so she brought up things that we didn’t even think to consider for the day of that were so helpful. Beyond that, she was so pleasant to work with and just had an amazing, chill vibe that everyone wants from their coordinator on the wedding day. It was also amazing that she works at the venue, so she knew all the ins and outs of the space and could easily coordinate with our other vendors. She helped ensure the bridal party was in the right places at the right time, moved people from room to room when needed, and helped us stay on track with the flow of the wedding, which was perfect and so seamless. She and the ROT team set up the entire space exactly as we envisioned, and everything looked beautiful! The venue is honestly perfect for a wedding. We were able to use private dining spaces in the venue for a photobooth and coat closet, plenty of bathrooms (not something you think about until you go to a wedding with too few!), an amazing outdoor space for guests to cool down/get away from the noise, a huge dance floor area, spacious dining room, and so many bars for our guests to go to. The staff were all amazing, endlessly refilling drinks and food, and everyone was incredibly nice. Even after all of the amazing things above, the best part about Rule of Thirds is the food. From the cocktail hour to the dessert, this food is amazing and well beyond typical wedding standards. We had so many guests tell us how good everything was, and we were told this was the first wedding at the venue where every single canape and raw bar item was eaten, so our guests were very happy! (if you can, splurge on the raw bar because it was so good!!) After the ceremony, they set up a spot for us to sample all the canapes and raw bar items, which we were super thankful for since we would never have eaten anything otherwise. We also had a very specific request for a mazeman noodle dish we had eaten when we toured the space a year prior, and the chef and team made it happen for us, which was AMAZING and so incredibly delicious. If you’re looking for a wedding venue and considering Rule of Thirds, DO IT! We wish we could relive the day all over again because it was so amazing, and we will forever be hoping someone else we know gets married here so we can experience something similar again.

When we say Taylor EXCEEDED our expectations, we truly mean that. From start to finish Taylor was such a calming and supportive presence in our lives. During the planning portion of our event, Taylor communicated with all of our vendors and made sure we were always on the same page. She was organized and had all of our contracts, seating charts, floor plans etc all in one google doc making it extremely easy to follow and stay on track. She was always responsive and answered every single question we could possibly have. As the wedding got closer, we had weekly calls to make sure we tied up any loose ends and that all the vendors were on the same page. The wedding day was beyond perfect. Taylor looked like a boss woman the whole time with her clipboard and made sure that she was keeping everyone in line and on track of time. There were a few times when things didn’t go as planned like having to move the ceremony inside due to rain and changing the floorpan last minute but she handled that with STRIDE. She made all the executive decisions and explained them to us calmly. We trusted that no matter what, she would make the best decision for us in the end and she 100% did! Everything ended up working out better than planned and we will be talking about this day for years to come. At the end of the event, Taylor helped all the vendors pack everything up and out of the venue and made sure that nothing was left behind. We could not recommend her enough as your wedding planner. She is strong, resilient and intelligent. She is organized, reliable and knows exactly what she is doing! You can really see how much she loves what she does and how she strives to be the best she can be every step of the way. Shout out to her assistant Joy for everything she had her hands on, including being so delicate and gentle while steaming my heavy wedding dress and taking some incredible behind the scenes shots of our day and for just being another amazing person to rely on. We couldn’t have asked for a better team!!!!

From the very beginning, we knew we were in great hands with Meryl and the team at Bacchus. They were incredibly responsive, accommodating, and easy to work with. They answered all our questions and made planning our 80-person wedding feel totally stress-free. On the day-of, everything was perfect, Our guests are still raving about it weeks later —it was genuinely that good. And not your typical wedding fare at all. The wine selections were also amazing (thank you Khaza). Everything was paired and plated so well. The service from the whole team was also flawless throughout the evening. Meryl was amazing at making everything run as smooth as butter. She even planned out a weather contingency for dining which turned out incredibly fortunate. We couldn’t have imagined a better place to celebrate our big day. Huge thanks to Meryl, Khaza, and the entire Bacchus team for making our wedding so perfect. Everybody needs a Raquel for their wedding! We had Raquel for 3 month coordination, and words alone cannot express how organized, professional, and seamless Raquel made the three months leading up to and on wedding day. Prior to the start of our coordination with Raquel, she provided us with a very organized, detailed spreadsheet to guide us through the wedding planning process. Raquel was the organization and detail behind every idea I brought to the table and helped to make our vision a reality! Raquel was my coordinator but doubled as my wedding therapist throughout the three months! Any wedding related question we had, Raquel was always there with a very thoughtful and speedy email response. Starting at 5pm the night before our wedding when she led us through our mini walk-through, to walking down the aisle, I felt completely reassured everything would go as smoothly as possible due to Raquel’s expertise! It was an absolute pleasure to work with Lorrie, and we loved the flowers and decor she created for our wedding. We weren't the easiest clients, as we were quite indecisive at the beginning. We bounced between wanting a minimalist all-white look and introducing various colors since we didn't have a strict theme. Finally, just a month before the big day, we settled on a complex palette with several specific colors. Despite the late change, Lorrie was calm and professional. Her support was invaluable; she sent timely follow-ups and was a grounding presence when we were scrambling behind the scenes to figure everything else out. She took our final color decisions and matched exactly what we had envisioned in terms of the colors and the ratios of each shade. Threes Brewing turned out to be the perfect venue for our under-45k wedding! If you’re looking to support a local business, look no further. Threes was so much more all-inclusive than we could have dreamed. Their Gowanus courtyard of flourishing vines and hops blooms is practically ready to go, especially since tables, linens, dishes, cutlery, and chairs are included. Grand Army is the on- site culinary vendor. You literally can’t go wrong picking dishes; our guests all went back for second helpings. Angie Hansen and Dave May (Threes’ event specialists and coordinators) were supportive and affirming at every turn. On the day of, I didn’t have to think about our schedule or logistics one bit. Angie and the Threes staff took care of everything flawlessly. My wife, our families, our friends, and I had so much fun.

Where to begin...from the first time we met with Angie (the events director) all the way to our wedding day, she and the rest of the staff blew right past any expectations we could ever have and literally delivered our dream wedding. Our guests raved about how much fun they had and it cannot be overstated how much of that is due to the incredible atmosphere of the venue and the amazing people working there. They just made everything so easy. It goes without saying that Threes has top-notch beers, wine and cocktails that kept us and our guests very happy, but we have to give a special shoutout to THE FOOD. We opted for the Gotham Smash Burger (with an option for an Impossible patty for vegetarian/vegan guests) as our entree and I had multiple people tell me it was the best food they'd ever had at a wedding, the best kale caesar salad they'd ever had period, and one of the vegetarian guests told me it was the best veggie burger she'd ever had in her life. Threes at Franklin Kent could not have been a more perfect place for our wedding. If you are looking for a laid-back yet elevated and romantic Brooklyn brewery vibe for your special day, look no further. They will take superb care of you!

Patricia at East River Photography was such a delight to work with! Her work was stunning and exactly what my husband and I wanted. We were blown away initially with the gorgeous engagement photos she took of us on the Brooklyn Bridge. It's always been a dream of mine to do photos at that location and she was able to capture exactly what I wanted; the towers in the background and shots of the city behind us! Just gorgeous! We shared our ideas for the wedding photos with Patricia and after a walkthrough of the venue we were set and excited to work with one another. My husband and I had a dark wedding and Patricia was very open and loved so many of our ideas, which was a breathe of fresh air! She had no judgments and was genuinely excited to work with our themes! Day of the wedding Patricia and her assistant worked tirelessly to capture all of our special moments. We wanted lots of family photos, which my husband and I both have large hispanic families, with LOTS of cousins, Tios and Tias, so it was no easy task. They got it all! I didn't have to worry day of at all where they were or if they were getting the shots we wanted. Patricia was there and ready! When we finally got the photos WE WERE BLUSHING! We had the biggest smiles on our faces as we relived our happiest day! The photos were absolutely beautiful, captured every special moment, and we couldn't be happier. We were thrilled and so happy not only with the photos but the gorgeous album she put together. Working with Patricia throughout the whole process was fantastic, she worked within our budget and schedule which was so amazing. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! My daughter chose Valentine’s weekend for her wedding event to memorialize my husband and my epic snowstorm some 40 odd years ago- luckily for her the evening of our meet the family at Radio Star Glasserie was just a dusting of white- just enough for her fairy tale story to start- the lighting was warm and inviting and Emily had answered all of our questions beforehand. The staff when we arrived all snowflaked was well prepared and accommodating for our gift table and family of 50. The food was plentiful and very delicious and the flow of service to event timing was just perfect- everyone enjoyed their visit and I can’t say enough about how good we all felt about it when it was time to say good night. Sheer happiness and glow from the evening and they were all there to provide that.
