I’ve been creating Glam and natural Bridal looks for over 3 years and learning the latest trends with makeup in New York. What started as a hobby led me to launch my business as a freelance makeup artist three years ago and I’ve since been certified by Lauren D’amelio, Kryolan Cosmetics and twelve international artists from The Makeup Lovers Conference. I also work with editorial clients creating daring yet on brand looks. I have an upcoming project to execute the makeup vision for an ad campaign in Times Square for ShopYahaira Shapewear. Working closely with my clients to ensure they look and feel their best selves is my first priority. My specialty is creating custom looks for weddings, engagements, and maternity portraits – from full glam to soft and subtle and everything in between. I love making people feel incredible on some of the most significant days of their lives.     Truly Flawless ; just great timing , her work is truly unmatched to me ; can't wait for anther event I can refer or use her again ! 5 bridesmaids all very different in their own way all still raving about not only the application but on how long it lasted with out even needing a touch up throughout the night !!!     Maria was recommended to me by my DJ from Extreme Rhythm (who is also a 10/10) when I asked for additional vendor recommendations. What I first loved about Maria was how approachable she is. She called me when I initially reached out to discuss details and even gave me her personal cell phone number. She is also very reasonably priced and has a bridal team so you don’t have to worry about finding someone for your hair which made the process very easy and took stress off of my plate. Leading up to my wedding I was very anxious because I had planned this huge wedding by myself and wanted to make sure I was on top of everything. Maria would answer all my questions in a timely manner which made me feel at ease. Maria even came to my house at 5:00 am because I was nervous about being ready on time which made me feel a lot better. I did a trial with Maria and that’s when I knew I had made the right choice, not only is she an extremely talented makeup artist but we also had a lot of fun as she is very personable and sweet. I can’t stress enough that her communication was exceptional leading up to my wedding. The day of my wedding Maria showed up early and did my bridal makeup as well as my moms and we also used her bridal team for our hair. We had so much fun and she did an amazing job, I looked like a bride but I still looked like me. It was the perfect amount of glam without over doing it. I forgot to eat and drink on my wedding day and ended up getting very sick after the ceremony and during cocktail hour. I threw up 2 times, but my makeup stayed on like nothing ever happened. My hair also stayed perfectly intact even after having someone hold it back! I will definitely be using Maria again and definitely recommend her to any bride looking for a glam team!!!

    Maria Pennacchi Makeup was an absolute pleasure to work with for my daughter's wedding day. Maria was very quick in responding to any questions that we had and was accommodating to making sure she gave us enough time to work with us that morning. She is so easy to talk to and listened when you wanted to add or change something. Maria's quality of work was outstanding - she applied our makeup very naturally and lighter so that there was room for changes. The makeup lasted throughout the entire day and wedding, and Maria made us look extra special. As an extremely experienced makeup artist, she really listens to what you want to look like for your special day. Maria made this experience with getting our makeup done a joyful one.
