We absolutely adored Athena and she made our wedding day memorable and fun! Athena was very organized and proactive about keeping us on track. She went above and beyond helping us decorate our venue at Elliston Vineyards and coordinating everyone and everything. I wish we had her help to plan our evening reception at another venue during the time because we had such a great time with her! One of our best memories is sitting in the back of a golf cart as Athena took us from the post-ceremony photoshoot to the cocktail hour and reminding us to stay present and we did it! We highly recommend Athena for your wedding planning!

When my husband and I started our journey to plan our wedding, I knew we were going to need some help. We are non traditional, with very eclectic tastes, and we were going to need someone special to help us pull off all of our insane ideas. I extensively researched over 20 coordinators, had a phones calls with 5 different companies, but ultimately I knew Ashley from Rose Event Co. was going to be the one. From the start she personable, intelligent, and made me feel understood in what our vision was for our special day. Throughout the process she was punctual with all of our appointments, gave helpful suggestions, and made me feel confident leaving my type A personality and needs in her hands. The weekend of the wedding came, and a lot of creative problem solving as well. We rented a private mansion for our event and did the rehearsal the day before. Ashley was there early, having already communicated with my other vendors and the venue to make sure we would be prepared for our big day. What we didn't expect was the kitchen under construction, furniture and decor that had not been moved at our previous requests(but promised), rooms that we had planned for, but could no longer use, and the Venue staff not "remembering" months worth of text and phone call conversations about our needs and expectations, as well as their promises and what they were supposed to deliver. There were other issues, but I digress. Ashley immediately stepped in with ideas and to be the go between with the Venue, and to help troubleshoot the long list of problems that had now come up. The night before was stressful for my Husband and I, not knowing if we were going pull this off, but I knew with Ashley, we were in good hands. The day of she brought her A game, a stunning red dress, and handled business. She was not afraid to get involved and make sure everything we wanted happened. She listened to our needs, knew when to step up or step down, was super flexible in our timeline and made sure to handle any issues that arose during the wedding. Her ability to read a situation and adapt to the issues at hand made her the perfect fit to our crazy ideas. She has incredible creative problem solving and is kind hearted and hard working. If it wasn't for Ashley, we could not have pulled off our day. I would recommend her 10x's over, to any bride that wants an absolute badass by their side. She handles business, and gives confidence to her clients. Thank you Ashley and Rose Event Co. for turning what could have been a disaster into a day dream!

Calmerin was the best investment we made for our wedding, hands down!!! Glennie and Ashton were incredible from the start to finish. We knew from the very first phone call that they were going to 100% on top of it, and we were right! The organization and detail of this team is top-notch. We hired them for Jade Package, which is similar to day-of-coordination (which is really more month-of), and was super important given our majority DIY wedding with 170 guests. Plus, Glennie and Ashton were such lovely, kind, and genuine people!! While the bulk of the details and communication was in the month leading up to our wedding, we had access to all of the planning docs as soon as we sent our deposit. The planning docs are AMAZING and so detailed, making us feel like we could transfer all of our knowledge/plans/thoughts to them. This was really important for us since we were doing the majority of the planning, and they executed phenomenally. We were also able to ask them for questions, such as a DJ recommendation. Glennie and Ashton were fantastic during the thorough venue walk-through, video calls, rehearsal with our wedding party, and on the day-of. We were able to drop off all of our wedding stuff (2 SUVs full) the morning of with set-up directions, and we showed up and it looked better than we had imagined/planned for! The tight set-up window from our venue was stressful, but Glennie and Ashton made sure everything was ready to go. They were so great at communicating with our vendors (we got many compliments!) They only texted us 1 small question the day-of, knowing that we were stressed and busy. They were AMAZING throughout the whole night, making sure we were on schedule and that we had everything we needed. We could go on and on about how amazing the team was and how happy we are that we worked with them. Best decision, book them before their calendars fill!

Emily was an absolute rockstar as our day-of wedding coordinator! Would you have expected SNOW/RAIN/HAIL for a late June Tahoe Wedding??? We weren't! Thank goodness we had Emily to help us pivot our plans without panic! From the first call we had with Emily, I felt completely at ease. She assisted us with communication with our vendors and even attended our rehearsal. She packed up all of my DIY things in her own car to make sure the venue was perfectly set up the next day. We delayed the outdoor reception, her team dried off the furniture, set up the tables and thanks to her, we were still able to have the beautiful outdoor reception I had dreamed of, and everything went off seamlessly. Our venue was historic and required specific insurance requirements that R&R Collective was proactive in making sure they met. On our wedding day, they handled set-up and take-down flawlessly, and kept our vendors and timeline on track while still allowing us the space and flexibility to adjust for any last-minute desires. We had an absolutely fantastic experience working with Amy to plan and coordinate our wedding. Our goal was to make our guests feel taken care of. Good food, good drink, good company; bringing the most important people in our lives together to celebrate our relationship and really understand us as a couple. That’s a big ask for a wedding. We trusted Amy to help us get the job done and she absolutely delivered. We booked her partial planning option. Our initial meetings with her, and all of the advice and tools she provided helped us navigate the process very cleanly. We always felt like we could reliably get our questions answered. More important though, she helped us understand what questions we should be asking in the first place, what was important, what was a priority, and what wasn’t. From there, meeting with her virtually and in person at our venue she was ON IT. She was a sponge for information: soaking up every idea, question, or anxiety, and addressing each with her deep experience and expertise. We went into our day confident in the plan we put together, and with an understanding of how things were being executed. That understanding did not prepare us for how blown away we would be by the quality of the job she and her team did on the day and in the lead up to it. Everything with our vendors was perfectly coordinated. Everything with the venue totally taken care of. We were providing a lot of the decor ourselves and her team picked up on and understood exactly what we were going for and assembled everything just as we planned it without any additional communication. They also seamlessly smoothed out and filled in any rough edges in our overall plan for the day, with little details we hadn’t considered identified and taken care of in thoughtful ways. If any small issues or problems popped up they were immediately handled with professionalism and grace. On top of that, Amy went above and beyond to make us and our guests feel special. She knew what was important to us, and made sure it happened. She was always there, but never in the way. A true professional. The day itself went off without a hitch and was better than we had even hoped. And as fantastic as the process was, the end result was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience, not only for us but for our guests as well.
