Our mission is to change the world one event at a time, creating celebrations that are both memorable and mindful of their impact.

Sustainability is a big part of who I am and how I live, and it naturally guides the way I plan events. As a compassionate vegan and someone who cares about our planet, I’m committed to creating weddings that are deeply meaningful, while honoring the earth.

Beginning six weeks out, we step in to tie up the final details and bring everything into alignment. We connect with your vendors, create a comprehensive wedding day timeline, confirm logistics, and manage the final to-do’s during the most high-pressure stretch of planning. You’ll head into your wedding weekend feeling organized, supported, and fully present - knowing every detail has been thoughtfully handled.

Small Event Planning Perfect for micro weddings and elopements—this package is designed for those smaller gatherings that still deserve big attention to detail. It includes two planning meetings, vendor recommendations to help bring your vision to life with ease and intention. Includes Day of Coordination (support) as well, plus a rehearsal if desired.

    The planner every couple deserves

    From the moment we started working with Caitlin, I knew we were in the best hands with Caitlin. She handled every detail so seamlessly that my husband and I were able to be fully present and enjoy every moment without worrying about timelines, logistics, or the countless moving pieces behind the scenes. Beyond being incredibly organized and professional, Caitlin has the most calming presence. Wedding day nerves are inevitable, but she has a way of bringing peace and confidence to every situation. Knowing she was there allowed me to truly relax and soak in the special day. What impressed me most was how she cared for everyone, not just us as the couple, but our vendors, family, and guests as well. She made sure everyone knew where they needed to be, kept everything running smoothly, and did it all with kindness, grace, and a smile. So many of our vendors commented on how wonderful she was to work with, and our guests never saw the countless details she was quietly managing behind the scenes. Hiring Caitlin was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day, and time leading up to. She is truly a blessing to have on your wedding day and an absolute gift to any couple planning their special day. I cannot recommend her enough. if you’re considering hiring her, do it. It will be one of the best investments you make.

    Excellent experience working with Caitlin

    Working with Gathered & Grounded Events was a great choice for our wedding planning journey . From start to finish, Caitlin was responsive and always there to meet via Zoom or to answer any questions via text. During our venue walk-through, Caitlin offered thoughtful suggestions about ceremony flow and table setup that we wouldn't have considered on our own. On our wedding day, she and her assistant were instrumental in getting our timeline down to the minute, making sure nothing fell through the cracks. Their attention to detail and calm presence meant we could actually enjoy ourselves instead of worrying about logistics.     Old St Mary’s Chapel Wedding!

    Caitlin was a great help for our wedding day! She was very communicative with our vendors and made sure everything ran smoothly the whole day. She did an amazing job setting up the decor; it was better than I had imagined!

I work completely solo for all weddings I coordinate and plan, with the exception of your wedding day. I work behind the scenes to create your timeline, communicate with vendors and of course, provide advice and support. On wedding day, I have an assistant join me to execute your event flawlessly.
No. I always reserve one wedding per weekend to ensure my attention is fully dedicated to you. There are very few scenarios where I take on two per weekend, separated by one day - I always share this case with my couples beforehand.
For our Month of Coordination/Partial Planning clients I see where we can tread lighter in the decisions we have left - such as your personal decor items, eliminating single use plastics or throwaway items, wedding day transportation and more! I'm very understanding that many couples come in with their own team of personalized vendors and we honor and respect their choices. For my full service clients, we dive deeper into the vendor and venue selection with sustainable, eco-friendly teams at the forefront.
Absolutely! Our team is happy to set up and arrange your wedding day decor however you'd like, including personal florals, ceremony decor, reception table-scapes, welcome table, plus more. We also pack up all of these items at the end of your event.
