The best choice we made in wedding planning

I’m not sure I can express in words how grateful I am for Cassandra, but I’ll try. We hired Cassandra to plan our July 2025 wedding at Valhalla in South Lake Tahoe. Aesthetically: I am someone who considers myself somewhat of a creative, but not incredibly organized, and certainly not a planner. For my wedding I had a vision for what some things would look like, and I wanted to design a few things myself (stationery/paper goods/signage), and I had a general aesthetic vision for the wedding but I couldn’t begin to imagine how to plan a whole event. Cassandra met me exactly where I was, rolling with my ideas and filling them out with all the rest of the details perfectly. She has beautiful taste (photos of her past weddings is what initially drew me to her) and all of her ideas were excellent; I had a lot of fun in our planning meetings where she would show me several options for various tablescape components and we could talk through them and choose together. Visually, our wedding was a dream. Organizationally: We did a “partial planning” package, which meant that I was more in charge of hiring vendors in the year leading up to the wedding, and then she took over coordination 6 weeks out. This is the time where things start to get stressful (lots of emails coming in, friends and family all have questions, etc), so it was amazing to have Cass on my team, fielding all the incoming emails and knowing the answer to every single vendor question, and jumping in to help coordinate things for our welcome party (which I had originally said I didn’t need help with). Once the big day arrived, Cassandra was AMAZING. She was so on top of everything. We had a bit of a weather scare (looked like thunderstorms might roll in in the afternoon; our ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner were all planned to be outside). It seemed like I should be stressed about this, but Cassandra assured me she had a plan A, B, C, and D, and all her staff prepared to do whatever needed to be done at any moment, so I felt shockingly unworried about the whole thing. (It did rain during our first look (the hour leading up to guest arrival), and was raining when guests arrived; she had had her staff bring a bunch of stuff inside, directed the bar staff to serve welcome drinks inside, and thankfully the rain cleared out quickly and they dried off the furniture moved everything back out to the lawn got everything back on track very quickly.) A bunch of our guests had interactions with Cassandra and couldn’t wait to tell me “your planner seems so great, I really like her!” I was nervous going into wedding planning because I had had many friends have frustrating experiences with wedding planners, but my experience could not have been better. It was a true collaboration, a fun time, and we are forever grateful to Cassandra for making it happen.

How to submerge yourself into the authenticity of your imagination, surrender to what you love most and have the courage to trust your intuition. Cassandra is an exceptional Planner/ Cordinator. She knew the clients vision and helped execute the day with precision. She handled unexpected situations with grace and was a calming presence throughout the event. She provided a comprehensive timeline and made sure all vendors were able to stay on track and made sure nothing was overlooked. I would highly recommend placing your day in Cassandra’s very capable hands, you will be thankful that you did!

Cassandra Ream was an absolute pleasure to work with from the beginning of my planning to the end. She helped craft a well thought out and meticulously considered timeline for my wedding day. She was supportive through the entire planning process, lending a helping hand and giving advice as needed. The day of my wedding, she was a calming and helpful presence keeping all of the balls rolling and the pieces in place. My husband and I were able to fully enjoy the entirety of our wedding day because we had Cassandra behind the scenes making sure everything went according to plan.

We worked with Cassandra for month-of wedding coordination and had such a great experience! She is so detailed, thoughtful, thorough, and has such a good artistic eye for design! Trying to think through the timeline was a bit overwhelming for me, but as soon as she came on board she worked with us to create a detailed timeline for each vendor and walked through it to discuss all the details with each of them, which was so helpful! She has so much experience and helped us think through all the details we hadn't even considered. We knew we were in such good hands, when the weekend came we weren't worried about anything. She designed our photo & guestbook table and reception tables so beautifully, and made our vision come to life. She had also done many events at our venue, and had a lot of insights for photo locations, layout, etc. that was so helpful. We are thankful we got to work with her and would highly recommend!
