Sarah and Sarah were amazing to work with! From day 1 we felt very comfortable with Owner, Sarah Rosier. She is very easy to talk to and super knowledgeable. She never makes you feel rushed and answers all of your questions. On the day of our wedding we worked with both Sarah Rosier and Sarah Rose. Both Sarah's were so helpful and ensured our big day went smooth. We were able to have so much fun and enjoy the moment because we knew Sarah and Sarah were taking care of everything. I highly recommend using SBD&E - especially if you are getting married at Union Mills Public House in Frederick, MD. SBD&E does a ton of events there, so they know the space like the back of their hand. It made everything so seamless and I could not imagine getting married without SBD&E! In the photo below, what you don't see is Sarah Rosier standing across from up giving us step by step instructions on the best way to cut the cake (it is harder than it looks lol!)... talk about attention to detail and making sure even the small details of the cake cutting were covered! Choose SBD&E as your wedding coordinator, you won't regret it!

Unlike some other reviews I’ve written, this is a very easy one to write because of how great our experience was with Caroline and her assistant. Now that we’re on the other side of our wedding I can say hands down hiring Caroline was one of if not the best decision we made during the process. We both can not recommend her more. One of the best aspects of working with her is that she will streamline and simplify the process, she’s also a great consultant resource for the do’s and don’ts of wedding planning. Despite having many balls up in the air she is an excellent communicator. She responds back in a timely manner even when she is busy working with other clients. Moreover, her assistance the day of the wedding was critical to its success. We actually finished our wedding 30ish minutes ahead of schedule which gave us more time for the reception. If that doesn’t say good project management skills I don’t what does. That feat was made more impressive because we had a Hindu ceremony and Christian one, making it a very long day. Again big thank you to Caroline and her assistant. I will forever be singing your praises and recommending you to anyone getting married.

I cannot sing Emma’s praises enough!!! We hired Emma as a month-of coordinator and are fully convinced she is the sole reason our wedding went off without a hitch! We had over 200 people and our ceremony was at a different location from our reception—no small undertaking—and from the moment we started working together, we knew our wedding was in good hands. Emma is extremely organized and has the perfect demeanor for this type of work. When I was actively pulling my hair out with stress (and a venue that was less than forthcoming about a conflict with our event space), Emma stepped up and made sure everything went smoothly, all while remaining calm, cool and collected. Emma was SO easy to work with and is a pleasure to be around. She also has a great inventory of items to bolster your décor—we ended up renting a card box and table numbers from her that she printed and designed with our names on it! She helped us hone our vision and refine our timeline, all while making sure everything was finalized to our liking! As we got closer to the wedding, and things inevitably became more hectic, vendors would email us questions and before I could even think of a response, Renee had already replied and had the situation handled. I can’t tell you the amount of ease and stress relief Renee brought us. The weekend of the wedding, my husband and I didn’t have to worry about a thing. Her team was quick and efficient and got things done. Our ceremony and reception set up was done exactly the way we had described and even exceeded expectations when we told her to use her creative liberties! I am the type to stress about details and worry about things running smoothly, but on our wedding day, I didn’t think twice about anything but enjoying the day. We knew Renee had it handled. If I thought of something last minute to bring up to Renee she would immediately say with ease, “we have it handled, don’t worry about a thing!!” I can’t emphasize how much that meant to us. My biggest advice to anyone planning a wedding would be to book a wedding planner and to get RENEE!!!! We will forever look back on our wedding knowing we, and everyone at our wedding, fully enjoyed every second and were not swept up in day-of tasks and duties. No one was stressed or worried about getting something done. People got to relax, party, and just enjoy themselves, because Renee had it handled.

Avenue Design Studio - Planning & Rentals was an absolute lifesaver for our wedding. When our caterer canceled the night before the wedding, Chad jumped into action and put together the most incredible charcuterie board for our cocktail hour. They went above and beyond, spending countless hours that morning to ensure everything was perfect. Chad's attention to detail and tireless efforts truly made our wedding day special. Macy was amazing! I felt a lot of stress leading up to the wedding but she was always able to put me at ease! We had to make some day of seating adjustments and she took care of it and I didn't have to worry about anything. Communication was great, always had quick replies to emails/questions. We loved having Sarah as our wedding planner! We used her as our day of coordinator for our wedding at Rosewood Farms in September. As someone who thought they were an organized person, Sarah exceeded our expectations of what organized looks like. We had our first meeting with her about 6 weeks prior to our wedding day. I went into the meeting feeling nervous and anxious about all the things we had left to do and all the details that still needed to be decided on. Sarah gave us great advice on linens (I’ve never thought about linens in as much detail until I met Sarah lol), timeline, table layout, and all of the logistics throughout the day. We left our first meeting having our entire wedding day timeline planned out from the moment we got to the venue at 8am until we left at 10pm. Safe to say we left that meeting feeling much better and knew that we were in great hands. Fast forward to our wedding day and we can confidently say that it was everything we dreamed of. Sarah executed my vision of what I wanted our reception space, cocktail hour, and ceremony space to look like perfectly. She made sure we were taken care of all day long. She had our cocktail hour food and drinks ready for us right after the ceremony and made sure that we got our preferred drinks right before last call. She kept everything on schedule and I don’t think we had a single hiccup all day long (and even if we did we didn’t know about it). It also helps when all of your vendors have worked together multiple times and get along great. We had such a great team! On top of giving us our perfect day, Sarah is also the sweetest person to work with! She supported our decisions and gave her input and expertise when we needed it. I felt comfortable giving her creative discretion because I felt like she listened and understood my vision in our meetings. I would highly recommend Sarah for any wedding planning services! She is organized, attentive, supportive, hard working, and easy to get along with! I can’t thank her enough for giving us our perfect day!
