My name is Jenny Wennell and I have been working events and weddings for over 30 years. I have been passionate about weddings since I was 5 years old and have spent the last 10 years working in numerous venues hosting events and helping couples plan their special day. I have experience in a variety of venues, helping couples with different styles, and from many different cultures. I am happy to plan your special day from step one, support you while you plan it yourself, or just step in and make your day run smoothly so you can enjoy it without being involved!! I am passionate about weddings and very organized. I have plans all sorts of events over the years and have wonderful people skills. I am adept at making guests comfortable, solving problems, and making events run smoothly without anyone noticing any issues. I work well with others and have much experience organizing and running teams of people. I am a natural leader, Spanish Speaker, and always willing to learn new things! Jenny was fantastic at keeping in touch with us by phone and making sure we were fully prepared when we arrived in Maryland. Of course! We will plan any style of event that you request. We have done weddings, bar/bat mitzvahs, picnics, Sweet 16 and Quinceañeras, etc. We are happy to plan any event of your choosing.
Great question! I am the full time planner and organizer of your event! You will always deal with me directly and I oversee all events myself. However, I do have several assistants who may help with your day depending on the size of event and needs of the couple.
It depends on whether you choose Day of Coordination, Partial Planning or Full Event Planning. Each level requires a different level of service from myself! Day of Coordination will require at least 1 meeting to discuss your vision and the details of your event. Partial Planning includes meetings for several months (either in person or virtually) and Full Planning will involve me meeting with you more to make sure I keep you updated on your event!
We will never take on more than one wedding per day! Your event is the most important thing going on in our world!! It is possible for our team to have more than one event in one weekend unless you book a larger package that requires full attention from us!
I have worked as a wedding coordinate and event planner for over 10 years. I have planned many types of events and provided all levels of service. I have worked weddings for many different religions and cultures as well. Everything from 50 person barn events to 400 person Indian/Sudan/Nigerian weddings at some of our larger venues we visit.
