A partial wedding planner service provides a stress-free wedding day experience without the need for a full-service wedding planner. From the moment your contract is signed, we're here to assist you. This package includes multiple meetings before your event and attendance at the final venue walk-through with your venue and caterer.

Ideal for clients who have already planned their event and are now ready to relax and enjoy the celebration, this service is designed to manage all the logistics for you.     We cannot recommend Caroline enough! From start to finish, she made our wedding planning experience absolutely seamless. Her attention to detail was incredible. She anticipated every need and ensured nothing was overlooked. Caroline was always prompt, helpful, and kind, making us feel supported and at ease every step of the way. She is also very cost-friendly, offering excellent value for her services. On top of that, she provides additional services like digital design for a small extra fee, which is absolutely worth it—these touches added so much to our day. Thanks to her, our wedding was perfect in every way, and we are so grateful for her dedication and care!

    I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Protea Events. From our very first conversation, Caroline made us feel supported, excited, and completely confident that we were in the best hands. Planning a wedding in DC comes with its fair share of logistical curveballs, but Caroline navigated every twist with calm professionalism and always came to us with thoughtful solutions. We had a hybrid Persian and Western wedding, and Caroline went above and beyond to understand both cultures and make sure every detail reflected what was important to us. She helped us think through traditions, timing, and flow in a way that felt so natural and seamless. Throughout the entire process, she provided incredibly organized checklists — even a post-wedding checklist! — which kept us calm and on track. Caroline also handled all communication with our vendors, which was such a lifesaver. Any time something shifted or fell through, she immediately stepped in, problem-solved, and ensured everything stayed on course. On the wedding day itself, Derrick and Shelagh were phenomenal. They kept us on schedule without ever making us feel rushed and ensured that every moment went off flawlessly. Thanks to them, we were able to be fully present and enjoy the day with our loved ones. Even when unexpected challenges popped up (as they tend to do in DC!), Caroline stayed steady, positive, and resourceful — truly the kind of person you want by your side.     Unlike some other reviews I’ve written, this is a very easy one to write because of how great our experience was with Caroline and her assistant. Now that we’re on the other side of our wedding I can say hands down hiring Caroline was one of if not the best decision we made during the process. We both can not recommend her more. One of the best aspects of working with her is that she will streamline and simplify the process, she’s also a great consultant resource for the do’s and don’ts of wedding planning. Despite having many balls up in the air she is an excellent communicator. She responds back in a timely manner even when she is busy working with other clients. Moreover, her assistance the day of the wedding was critical to its success. We actually finished our wedding 30ish minutes ahead of schedule which gave us more time for the reception. If that doesn’t say good project management skills I don’t what does. That feat was made more impressive because we had a Hindu ceremony and Christian one, making it a very long day. Again big thank you to Caroline and her assistant. I will forever be singing your praises and recommending you to anyone getting married.
