You'll also have a choice of multiple ceremony and reception sites, all of which are surrounded by lush lawns and thick groves of trees. Natural light fills the banquet room through the floor-to-ceiling windows. This versatile space includes a large wood dance floor, and it adjoins an open-air patio, a tented area, and an outdoor tiki bar, making it easy for guests to mingle beneath the stars in the evening. The Historic Blum Barn is a wedding venue located in Saline, Michigan. This historic barn is situated on a 43-acre working farm and offers a variety of services for your special day to ensure a memorable experience for you and your guests. The Historic Blum Barn is located just minutes outside Ann Arbor, 400 feet off an asphalt road, and 800 feet from the nearest neighbor to ensure the perfect amount of privacy for your special event. Welcome to Alber Orchard & Freedom Winery. Only 30 minutes west of Ann Arbor or an hour from Detroit, our beautiful orchard provides a perfect country get-away in the rolling hills of Manchester, Michigan. This beautiful land was deeded in 1832 by President Andrew Jackson, and acquired by John Alber in 1881 to operate as an orchard and cider mill. Today's owners, Mike and Therese Bossory, are preserving the centennial orchard, gazebo, barns, and cider press to assure your family or special group with a clean, safe, relaxing time on the farm. Alber Orchard is also the ideal location for your wedding or special event, and we look forward to hearing from you. The orchard is a gorgeous setting at any time of the year, and our preferred vendors are extraordinary.

Lake Lucy Event Venue offers 140 acres of land with an 80 acre private lake encompassed on the property. There are many well maintained walking trails, plenty of open space and beautiful scenery. There is an option to bring the bridal party on a hay wagon, which makes for some pretty cool pictures. Both the bridal party and the grooms party can opt to get ready in a beautiful log home; usually the bridal party gets ready in the fully finished walkout basement, and the grooms party on main floor. We are located within 5 miles of Wixom, which offers many hotel options. There is currently no structures in the wedding venue area, but have started construction on a pavilion for the 2024 season. Inspired by their daughter's wedding in 2009, Kelly launched Misty Farm, offering a picturesque setting for weddings. The success of Misty Farm led Kelly to restore a neighboring farm, giving birth to The Valley. The Frutig family takes pride in preserving the history and craftsmanship of these properties, sharing their unique beauty with the community and those seeking a truly special setting for their celebrations.

Lafayette Greens is a green space and urban garden in the heart of downtown Detroit, next door to the famous Coney Islands and across the street from the fabulous Westin Book Cadillac Hotel. The award-winning garden, created by Kenneth Weikal Landscape Architecture, was donated to The Greening of Detroit by Compuware in 2014 and is a place of beauty. A certified pollinator garden, focused on growing plants for butterflies, native and honey bees and birds, your ceremony could take place amongst the fluttering of butterflies, chirping of birds and happy hum of bees.

The Detroit Princess has been entertaining Detroit in its current location since 2005, docked just downriver from Hart Plaza, but it has quite an interesting history prior to that. It was originally named the Players Riverboat Casino II and was built in Jennings, Louisiana in 1993. It ran as a Merv Griffin establishment for a number of years, located on the Mississippi River in Metropolis, Illinois. Riverside Marina, originally Harbor Hill Marina, was the vision of Coleman A. Young and Portfield Wilson. Wilson and Young realized there were very few Marinas for minorities with amenities such as the ones they were building at Riverside.
