“Aleshia truly goes above and beyond!! What first drew me into her was her affordable pricing, I was having a hard time finding someone or a salon that was (in my opinion) a reasonable price. I also had a short engagement so for her to be able to fit me into her schedule was amazing. Before I even met her she was so helpful she sent me links to hair extensions that she recommended and help me pick a color that best fit my hair!! She also helped with finding my makeup artist which was a huge help. When I went to my trial she was so sweet, she maid sure I knew what would work for my hair and what wouldn’t, she asked what I liked most about my inspo pictures and made sure to take her time to incorporate those things. Leaving the trial I was absolutely in love with my hair and with her! About a month before the wedding Aleshia made a time line for everyone that was getting their hair done to make sure we were ready when we needed to be, she also sent out a little to do for hair the morning of the wedding. The morning of the wedding she was just the absolute best, she had such a bubbly and happy attitude with everyone, she was truly one of the best parts about the morning of my wedding. If you are in need of a wedding/special event hair artist I couldn’t recommend Aleshia enough, she knows what she is doing and does an extraordinary job! And one of the nicest and most caring person you will meet!”

As you can imagine, I was definitely panicking about our ceremony starting in less than two hours from the time of my arrival. I booked with them somewhat far out from my wedding, but my call with Kate, the owner, as a consultation was a match right off the bat. She got to know me as a human not just a bride, and took great care in my vision for my day. Gina, whom I sincerely apologized to for all of my questions and emails (lol) was SO incredibly kind and patient and made any updates to our contract or services any time I asked! Now, onto the artists: I had my trial with Jeannette, who made me feel so beautiful and comfortable, I knew we were a good match! I felt confident with her as lead artist! On the day of, Jeannette, Myriam, Jenna, Lorena and Rene all exceeded any and all expectations. There were a total of 30 (I think) services being performed and I have never seen such a “well oiled machine” of hair and makeup before. They took time and care for each service but also moved so quickly that they were finished early. We didn’t have to start at 6am with that many people, which honestly, was a huge concern. Everyone felt and looked STUNNING and I truly could not stop staring at myself after my hair and makeup were finished. Haven’t gotten all of our professional photos back, so including what I can! Including a before photo, an after selfie, an iPhone photo at the end of the night & one of my professional photos from afar so you can see how glowy and dewy she made me look!”

From there, she developed a love and passion for makeup. In 2017, Nicole officially became a Certified International Makeup Artist. Nicole's had great opportunities to work with amazing people, local organizations, film productions, Arab World Fest, Thyck Troupe Chicago, Live Out Loud Charity and even R&B singer Tweet. In 2018, Nicole was honored with the "Makeup Artist of the Year" Award through the LOLC organization. She not only offers but guarantees her clients the best of her services each time.
