We are incredibly sorry that this happened on your wedding morning, and as we have expressed privately, we completely understand how upsetting it was to initially be left waiting for your scheduled artists. This was an unprecedented situation for our team, and one we took extremely seriously. We do want to clarify a few details for anyone reading this review. As soon as we became aware that the two scheduled artists had not arrived, our team immediately began working to resolve the situation. We were able to arrange for two artists to step in, and the inspiration photos and information we had from the trials were sent over to help them recreate the planned looks. Most importantly, all contracted bridal party services, including both brides’ services, were completed and everyone was finished on time. We were also in communication with the venue team throughout the morning. Afterward, the planner shared with us that everyone remained calm and seemed happy with their finished services, and expressed appreciation for how our team handled an extremely unexpected situation. We’re grateful to continue working with the venue and their team in the future. This is not something we have experienced before in our years of serving wedding parties, and it is not representative of the standard we hold our team to. Both artists who failed to arrive were immediately removed from our team, and we implemented additional procedures following this wedding to help ensure a situation like this does not happen again. We also issued substantial refunds because we absolutely agreed that the inconvenience and stress caused at the beginning of the morning warranted compensation. Where we ultimately disagreed was on the amount. The additional refund requested would have included a full refund for services that were ultimately rendered and completed on time, as well as additional reimbursement for replacement services that our team had already arranged. This would have effectively resulted in duplicate compensation for a portion of the services provided, which we did not feel was a fair or reasonable resolution. We will never minimize the stress caused by the original artists failing to arrive, and we remain sincerely sorry that this was part of your wedding morning. At the same time, we are proud that our team responded quickly, found replacement artists, completed every service on time, issued refunds for the disruption, and took immediate action internally to ensure we learned from an incident we hope to never experience again. We truly wish you both nothing but happiness in your marriage and appreciate the opportunity to clarify what occurred.
