What first drew me to photography was the ability to preserve connection in a way that feels both natural and lasting — like revisiting a place or memory and feeling it just as deeply as before. Over time, that perspective has shaped the way I observe a moment, not just as it appears, but as it is experienced. I’m drawn to the subtle interactions, the movement, and the details that often go unnoticed, yet hold the most meaning. Each story carries its own character, and my role is to recognize it and preserve it with care.

Ten Thirty Four Photography is centered on documenting wedding days with intention, atmosphere, and a refined perspective. I approach each celebration with a focus on the moments that shape your story as it naturally unfolds, blending documentary storytelling with an editorial eye.     We Couldn’t Be Happier!

    Liz and her second shooter Lauren were the best team on our wedding day! Throughout the planning process Liz was there to help plan the timeline, and her photo location suggestions were perfect. She is the best collaborator for your vision and I cannot recommend her highly enough!

    Love Liz!

    I worked together with Liz a couple of times while second shooting. Liz is great with detail! She is always finding the alternative angle to best cover a couple's event. She is professional, kind, and inclusive. Liz is go-with-the-flow and able to adapt to the unpredictability that wedding days can sometimes be. Overall, Liz is a wonderful photographer!

    Ten Thirty Four photography was super easy to work with! We have worked with her for our engagement photos, collage graduation photos, another fun photo shoot downtown Kalamazoo and our Wedding! Every photo shoot we had done had cloudy weather, and Liz did an amazing job working with the lighting and everything to ensure our photos were super special for us! Absolutely. Every delivered image is carefully refined for color, exposure, and tonal balance to ensure your gallery feels cohesive and true to the moment. Light retouching is included when appropriate, such as minor blemish removal or subtle skin smoothing. I do not alter body shape or features, as preserving authenticity is an important part of my approach.
Most couples book their wedding photography 9–18 months in advance, especially for popular dates and seasons. Once you have a venue and date secured, I recommend reaching out so we can confirm availability and begin planning your photography experience.
Your delivery timeline depends on the type of session and what’s outlined in your contract. For weddings, I typically send a preview gallery within 7 days so you can relive the magic right away, with the full gallery delivery specified in your agreement. For portrait or commercial sessions, the turnaround time is often shorter — you’ll find those details clearly noted in your session contract. Every image is carefully edited in my signature style — cinematic, timeless, and intentional.
Yes. Depending on the coverage you choose, a second photographer may be included or added to your collection. Having a second photographer allows for additional perspectives and ensures important moments and details are captured throughout the day.
Every wedding is unique, but most couples receive at least 50 images per hour of coverage, depending on the flow of the day and the total hours of coverage. I don’t hold back on delivering moments — if it’s meaningful and beautiful, it’s yours. Other session types may outline a specific number of images.
Once you’ve chosen your collection or custom coverage and are ready to move forward, I’ll send over your contract and retainer invoice to officially reserve your date. Booking retainers are 50% of the total invoice. Everything is handled online for ease and convenience. Once those are in place — it’s official, and we’re ready to start dreaming up your photography experience! Dates are not held without a signed contract and paid invoice. Services are booked on a first come, first serve basis.
After officially reserving your date, I will send you a welcome email outlining the process, along with resources for building a custom timeline and family shot list. Attached in the email is my Welcome Guide that captures the overview of our journey working together and the anticipated steps along the way.
Yes! Whether your wedding is across town, by the coast, or halfway around the world, I love documenting love stories wherever they take me. Travel is quoted based on location and logistics, and I’ll walk you through those details upfront so there are no surprises. No travel is charged to Michigan residents in the lower peninsula.
