Paint My Mind Photography
I’m Brittany, a laid-back, candid and colorful photographer in Kalamazoo, Michigan. I love working with ALL couples, but especially have a soft spot for non-traditional weddings. My gays, weirdos, ADHDers, D&D players- I'm your girl. Let's connect over our shared passions or fandoms- I'm a lover of all things spooky, Halloween, books, cats, oat milk lattes, Star Wars, and continuing education courses.
Coming from a unique background, I’m here to help you with whatever wedding issues arise. Not having a father-daughter dance because your dad is a jack-hole? HEARD THAT. Having some issues with family and need a liaison, or a body guard? Good thing I lift heavy weights ;) Someone who respects and appreciates your pronouns, relationship, love story, dynamic? ABSOLUTELY! You deserve that respect. I’m constantly working on myself and my craft so that I can provide the best experience to all of my couples. My goal is for clients to think of me as their friend by the time the wedding day is done.

Amazing Human & Photographer!
Brittany is an extremely talented photographer and a chill, kind human, who I couldn’t recommend more! As two people who are a little awkward having our photo taken, she made the experience feel casual and fun. She came to Chicago for our engagement session where we took photos on the lakefront with our dog, and at one of our local dive bars. On the wedding day itself in Benton Harbor, she and her second shooter Alexa helped us have a relaxed experience. She sent our sneak peek of photos back so quickly and they turned out so amazing - I have been living vicariously through them post-wedding as they perfectly capture the emotion and vibes of the day. I found Brittany through Zola and hope others do the same because she is amazing!

We have hired Brittany for family photos, boudoir, and our wedding day; she has over delivered every single time! She’s incredibly talented, and so fun to work with- in every scenario. Best Photographer Ever
Brittany is AMAZING!! She did both our engagement photos and our wedding photos. It was clear from the moment we met her that she was the best fit for us as a couple.
