Hi! I'm Morgan and I am a West Michigan based photographer/photography business. Photography has become my very own love language and making people happy through photos brings me joy. I believe in capturing the authentic moments of every session, making each one and their photos unique to you. I also love to explore new places and am willing to travel - literally anywhere! My resume from over 7 years of experience includes professional dress fluff-er, boutonniere pin-er, giggle inducer, cheerleader, and "oh shit" moment fixer. Photos should be easy, fun, and be as stress free as possible so I use my Type AA personality to make that happen.

There are a couple things that are special to me that I like to highlight. First, I do not have one specific editing style and make sure that the photos bring you right back to your day. I can also edit them to a specific style if there is one that you like! Second, I offer a 3 payment plan for all packages. Your first payment is due to officially book your date, the second payment is due by the day before, and the final payment is not due until you receive your fully edited gallery and are happy with your photos!!

    Phenomenal!

    Morgan Jean Photography was the perfect choice for our wedding photography. From the start, their communication was efficient, organized, and thoughtful. They listened closely to our needs and preferences to ensure the day ran smoothly. The quality of their work was simply beautiful - their photos captured the expressive and comfortable moments that we will cherish forever. On the day, Morgan and her assistant Hannah jumped in to help keep us on schedule, allowing us to stay present and focused on each other. They even made sure I stayed hydrated throughout the day. Morgan is not just a phenomenal photographer, but a genuinely kind person who goes above and beyond to make your wedding experience special. We could not be happier with the memories they have provided us.

    Best photographer out there!

    I have used Morgan for not only our wedding and engagement pictures, but for cap and gown pictures as well in 2021. I cannot recommend her enough for any pictures you are looking to get done, I could talk about her all day! She makes you feel 100% comfortable during your sessions and does all the extra help that she possibly can. She was my right hand on wedding day and took care of so many things, I trusted her fully and she delivered!! She is amazing at communication and has multiple different wedding packages to choose from. She is so easy to get along with and I always felt like I was chatting with a close friend rather than a vendor! Seriously pick her for your sessions, you won’t regret it.

    Morgan is AMAZING!

    Morgan and I worked together for a previous wedding I had booked through ZOLA! She assisted as my second photographer for the day and was extremely helpful during all aspects of the day. I have also worked with her as her second photographer. She was well organized and cares about all of her couples. She is extremely personable and puts in a great amount of detail and preparation for all of her clients. She creates an inclusive environment for all. She has a bubbly fun personality. I highly recommend her for your wedding day!

    Look no Further

    Look no further, Morgan is your photographer! She photographed both my engagement and wedding photos. I was completely in love with the product, but the process was so easy with her. I knew the general direction I wanted to go, but she helped expand that into a magical experience. Even if you have no ideas going into consultation, she helps to guide you through and by the time you both get to the end product you’re happy with, there is nothing but excitement. On site, she is creative, timely, and always willing to get the best shot possible! If you chose her, you won’t regret it!

1000000% yes. I am actually part of the Alphabet Mafia and have photographed many people who are as well. My sessions are safe spaces and I will do whatever I can to make you feel welcome, comfortable, and confident.
I have been doing photography professionally since 2016. I've photographed a lot of different things; weddings, athletic events, parties, families, etc. I have no idea how many total sessions I've done, but I hit 75 weddings in late 2022 so I have a bit under my belt lol! To get a better idea of my experience, you are able to see all of my past sessions photos by heading the the "Galleries" tab under The Client Experience.
Yes. Bottom line, yes. This is mainly just for legal purposes on my end. Even 15 minute mini sessions require a contract, but I promise they are super easy. They can even be viewed and signed online and you have access to them at any time.
I do not charge travel fees within the state of Michigan. Outside of that, we will determine together what accommodations may be needed and go from there.
Don't you worry, I know that neither you or I can change the weather and dealing with it can be frustrating. If your session gets rained out or there's some other crazy weather happening, we will work to find a new date and time for the session - free of charge.
I have a three-payment system. The first payment is 25% of the total cost of the session and is due at the time of booking (aka when you have signed your contract). That is your deposit and is non-refundable. The next payment is 50% of the total cost and is due by 6pm the day before your session. This is a way to insure that the session is still happening and both you and I will show up. The last payment is the remaining 25% of the total cost and is not due until you receive your full edited photos. This is my guarantee to you that you will get your photos.
Absolutely! My standard payment plan is 25% due when you sign your contract that is non-refundable, 50% due by the day prior to your session date, and the remaining 25% is due when you get your photos back. I am more than happy to change that up however you'd like other than the initial 25% payment.
Payments can be made a couple of different ways. I do offer online payment through my booking site - it's safe and secure so you don't need to worry there. I do also take cash and checks (make it out to "Morgan Jean Photography"). You are welcome to pay whichever method works best for you, just make sure that your choice fits with your payment schedule.
Any way you'd like! My preferred editing style is Natural and True to Color, but I can edit in many other ways as well. If you have a style you want but don't know how to describe it, send me an inspo photo and I can try to match it! Your photos should look how you want them to.
Your contract will state that you will get your photos back within three weeks. I can be very busy sometimes during the year so it may take that full three weeks, but most clients get their photos back within a week - yes, even weddings!
Your photos will be delivered to you via an online gallery. It is custom to you and will come with a personalized download pin. You can download all of your photos completely free as many times as you'd like, but only those who you shared the download pin will be able to do so, giving you control of who has full access.
Nope! I do offer printing services directly through your personalized online gallery with a professional print shop, but you have printing rights and can print them anywhere. I don't even print my photos through a professional printer all the time, so I wouldn't expect you to!
Absolutely. Plain and simple, they are your photos and I am more than happy to keep those photos private. You get to decide how they are used.
