Glasswater Events is a Northern Michigan wedding coordination company based in Boyne City, serving couples from Petoskey and Charlevoix to Harbor Springs, Traverse City and Mackinac Island. Founder Hazel Cortright brings 10 years in live events, from NASCAR at Michigan International Speedway to fashion shows and Up North weddings, plus a degree in Event Management from Central Michigan University. You set the vision; we confirm every vendor, build a minute-by-minute timeline and handle every detail so you can be at your wedding. We offer day-of, month-of and wedding weekend coordination, and take a limited number of weddings each season so every couple gets our full attention.

Hazel leads every wedding herself. No hand-offs to an assistant you’ve never met. We take a limited number of weddings each season, so your day never competes for our attention. Ten years running live events, from NASCAR crowds to fashion show runways, means we stay calm and solve problems before you ever hear about them. We know the details nobody tells you about: who clears tables between dinner and dancing, whether the bar package includes glasses, and that rentals get set up, not just dropped off. And because we live and work Up North, we know the venues, the vendors and the weather. You enjoy the wedding. We handle the details.

Description

For couples who have booked most of their vendors but want an experienced professional to fill the gaps and handle the final stretch. This is when the details multiply and the questions arrive faster than you can answer them. Planning together begins six weeks before, so we don't just run your plan. We strengthen it.

Day-of Coordination For couples who have planned every detail themselves and need a professional to carry it across the finish line. Planning together begins two weeks before your wedding. We learn everything you've built and take the logistics off your hands.

Planning Session ($75) - Before your package begins (45 minutes by phone or Zoom) End of night teardown ($450) - We stay after the celebration to pack up your personal décor, check in with your vendors, and get rental items ready to go back. Included in Weekend Management. Other Events ($600) - Rehearsal dinner, bridal brunch, farewell brunch, welcome party, etc.

    The best of the best!! Hire her!!

    Working with her was an absolute pleasure! She was amazing from start to finish and truly great at everything she does. She was organized, attentive to every detail, and made the entire wedding day run so smoothly. She goes above and beyond to make sure everything comes together perfectly while making the day feel effortless for the couple. I would highly recommend her to any couple looking for someone who will make their wedding day everything they dreamed of!

    Hazel and Kyla were absolutely amazing!! We initially weren’t planning on having a day of coordinator because we were doing a smaller wedding (<100 people) and already had a lot of the details figured out. After we talked with Hazel, we decided it would take a huge load of us and our families for the wedding weekend. My husband and I agree that having Hazel and Kyla was honestly one of the best choices we made for enjoying our wedding day! Hazel sent us checklists/timelines ahead of time and asked us questions neither of us would’ve thought of which made the day/weekend go so smoothly. They took care of absolutely everything! Everything we asked for, they were able to help pull off! We had no stress the day of knowing that everything was handled and our families didn’t have to do anything but enjoy the day with us! They even stayed until well past midnight packing everything up into our vehicle at the Venue so all we had to do in the morning was pick up the truck and drive home!
