Wedding Photographer in Michigan

Michigan wedding photographer based in East Lansing, and available for travel. My photographs are timeless, natural and meaningful, with a journalistic approach. My goal is to capture the day not only through my lens, but through yours as well–the colors and setting you’ve chosen, the weather, your energy–everything that makes your wedding unique.

I truly believe my life, my marriage, and the work I do today are all because of GOD. He gave me the courage to pursue a job that allows me to SERVE+LOVE people and create something that I’m passionate about. Wedding photography is so much more than just the final images- it’s also an experience. From the first initial email to the hug goodbye at the end of the reception, it is my goal to provide a comfortable and memorable experience in addition to beautiful and timeless images.

Typically, couples book me about 13 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
I require 30% retainer to secure your spot on my calendar, and the remaining 70% is due 2 weeks in advance for the wedding. You can split these payments (up to 3 payments) if you’d like to help make it more affordable. I’m happy to work with your schedule!
My turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 4-6 weeks after your wedding but we tend to post sneak peaks on our Instagram or Facebook page. We’ll let you know when they’re good and ready.
In most cases, clients receive 400 – 600 fully edited images often determined by the amount of wedding day coverage.
Yes! I firmly believe that you should have a printed copy of your photos. You can order a custom album through me, but there is also an option to design your own album or order prints through your gallery, they’re printed in a professional photo lab partnered with your gallery and can be ordered in various dimensions and qualities.
I use professional Canon gear and always bring backups! I do have liability insurance and can provide a certificate for your venue upon request.
Of course! In fact, I don’t care if you’re gay or religious. I don’t care how you look. I don’t care what your political view is. If you love and trust what I do, I promise you we’ll be a good match.

And I’ll tell you a bit more about how I work - what you can expect the day of your wedding, what collection might work best for you. To book your date, I require a non-refundable retainer fee along with a signed wedding photography agreement.
