I'm Chel, a Michigan-based wedding photographer specializing in meaningful celebrations, and candid storytelling. I photograph weddings throughout Michigan and beyond, creating images that feel natural, connected, and true to the people in them.     Amazing Photographer! Highly recommend!

    Cheleana is an amazing photographer and helped make our day go so smooth and captured all our beautiful moments! From the very beginning my husband and I felt great booking with Chel! She met with us and had multiple touch points with us between the time we booked with her and our wedding date. Our engagement session went so well and we were so happy with the photos so we really looked forward to continuing to work with her during the wedding. She stayed in touch and was really hands on as we got closer to the date, making sure she was connecting to the other vendors if needed and just offering her help if we needed anything and answering any questions we may have had as we got closer to the date. On our wedding day she was such a calming presence and really helped the day go smooth! She helped corral all of our friends and family to get great pictures and just really made the day so great. We have a large, loud family and she was still able to help keep the day on time and capture everything we had wanted. She delivered sneak peaks quickly - much more than we were expecting for a sneak peak - and we can’t wait to see the rest! If you want to have a photographer that makes you feel comfortable, helps hype you up and keeps the day running smoothly Chel is the one to hire! She’s amazing!

    Exactly Who You Want on Your Wedding Day

    I’ve seen Cheleana photograph in many different settings, from mini sessions to weddings. I’ve been a guest at weddings she’s photographed, I’ve assisted her on wedding days, and she’s even photographed a wedding day that was deeply meaningful to me, one that sadly didn’t get to happen. She was there to capture my brother’s fiancée in her wedding dress, as well as portraits with our family just after his passing. It was such an emotional day, yet she handled every moment with grace, empathy, and care, making everyone feel comfortable. Whether she’s photographing a full wedding day or a single portrait, she brings the same energy and intention. When you’re around her, you don’t feel the natural pressures of a wedding day because she knows how to create an environment where people can relax and be fully present. She anticipates needs, notices the details, and has a rare ability to preserve the atmosphere of a wedding: the joy, the love, the anticipation, in a way that you can still feel when you look at the photos years later. As someone who can be camera-shy, I can honestly say she has a way of making people feel completely at ease. Her photos don’t just document moments, they preserve emotions, and it’s an honor to be photographed by her.

    Timeless Moments Captured

    We had the absolute pleasure of working with a truly gifted photographer for our wedding. She is incredibly talented and has a true gift for capturing not just images, but emotions and moments in the most beautiful, seamless way. From the beginning, she worked closely with us to bring both our vision and her creative eye together, and the result was more than we could have imagined.     THE BEST

    Cheleana was amazing!!! Do yourself a favor and hire her to be your photographer, you’ll thank yourself later. She was so genuine and professional throughout the entire process and went way above and beyond to make sure she captured our special day. We received our “sneak peek” photos within the first week and they are freaking STUNNING. The rest of the photos will be to us soon (timeline of 6-8 weeks post wedding), but seriously already so stoked about all of the sneak peek photos she gave us. She was also so much fun to be around on our wedding day and made the picture process so fun, I felt like I was having one of my best friends be my photographer haha. Hire Chel, you won’t get better!

    Professional to work with

    Cheleana was absolutely amazing to work with, from communication prior to the wedding to navigating the changing environment of a large-scale wedding. we were given more than a few changes to the timeline, and she kept the flow going while managing a second shooter along with sharing the moment with a videographer. Finding a photographer that enjoys what they do while they are working and able to keep a smile all while making the customer and other vendors feel like a team.!
