About this venue

The Chapel at The Morris Estate (formerly Morris Farms) has been providing a breathtaking backdrop for weddings since 1938. E.M. Morris built The Chapel as the Centre Meeting House on his 1,000 acre farm in Niles, Michigan. It began as the setting for his daughter's wedding and has since hosted important events for both the Morris family and community. Although there have been renovations to add modern conveniences, the property's quaint atmosphere and rich heritage will continue to be maintained. The area surrounding The Chapel provides a lovely and convenient location for a reception after the ceremony. Enjoy the peace and beauty of the woodland setting along the riverfront while celebrating with friends and family. Lodging is also available on this historic property at the River House. This luxurious retreat provides 5 spacious suites and many relaxing common spaces to enjoy.

    The team at the Morris Estate goes above and beyond! They serve each of their couples with excellence. I love being able to photograph at their stunning venue, not only because it's truly a beautiful retreat, but also because working with them is so wonderful. They are kind, considerate, and care about each couple who gets married on the property. I can't wait to continue working with them!

    This venue was everything I dreamed of for my wedding and more. The staff was incredible and the space was beautiful. You get the charm of a building with history without having to sacrifice any modern amenities.

    As a makeup artist, I'm always looking for venues that not only make the bride's planning a breeze but also work with other vendors amazingly. Not only is The Morris Estates professional, beautiful, and in one of the best locations ever. Wait until you see the bridal suite! The suite is a makeup artist's dream featuring enough room for your hair/mua team to set up while you and your bridal party still have plenty of space to enjoy the getting ready process. The Morris Estate is hands down in my top 5 wedding venues in our area and I'm grateful for their team and my brides to be who also love this venue so much.
