Aria at The Whitcomb

I've photographed a few weddings over the years at Aria, and recently photographed a Sangeet in the veranda. The space is beautiful, and is close to multiple places for photos (within walking distance which is AMAZING!) It's the perfect space for welcome dinners to weddings.

Our wedding at Aria at The Whitcomb was truly everything we hoped for and more. The venue is absolutely stunning - the covered rooftop overlooking Lake Michigan was the most beautiful, spacious, and light-filled setting for our ceremony. It gave us the outdoor feel we wanted while keeping everyone comfortable no matter the weather. What makes this place so special goes far beyond the view. The Whitcomb building itself is home to residents of a senior living community, and throughout our wedding weekend we met several of them - they were so kind, warm, and genuinely excited for us. It added such a touching, human element to the experience that I’ll never forget. I actually fell in love with this venue before realizing how meaningful it would be personally. My grandmother grew up in St. Joseph, and I’ve spent every summer of my life visiting Lake Michigan — it’s my favorite place in the world. Getting married here felt like coming home and brought everything full circle. The venue is also incredibly versatile - you can truly make it anything you want. Between the open rooftop and the beautiful indoor space downstairs, there are endless possibilities for how to design and personalize your day. And I can’t say enough wonderful things about Navneet and Prabhjot. They were amazing to work with - organized, kind, patient, and always quick to respond. They made the entire planning process so smooth and stress-free, and their calm energy made the day itself feel effortless. If you’re looking for a venue that’s elegant, flexible, and full of heart, Aria at The Whitcomb is it. We feel so lucky to have been married there - it will forever hold a special place in our hearts.

The Aria is an absolutely breathtaking venue for both reception and ceremony. As a wedding vendor, it’s a tremendous benefit to having venue staff and owners that care about their product, their couples, and every person under the roof. In my experience, Jay, the owner, does exactly that. He and everyone that works at the Aria do a spectacular job caretaking such a beautiful property. I never have a bad time if I’m working at The Aria.

The Aria at The Whitcomb was such a beautiful venue for our Sangeet event. Jay was wonderful to work with and he was very responsive. Not only was he at the venue during the event, he was also there during set up to ensure things were placed where we wanted them. I highly recommend the Aria at The Whitcomb!

Nice place for a wedding or event. Very nice outdoor area, which is covered. Nice breeze off the lake.
