The barn is a beautiful, relaxed atmosphere with electricity, two restrooms, and stained scored concrete floor. Surrounding the barn are 10 acres of fields, equestrian center, and community garden. This space is most ideal for a DIY-er!

    Wedding Review

    It was wonderful working with Sherman Lake YMCA to help make my wedding vision come to life. There were multiple locations on property that the ceremony could take place, and we were able to check them out in advance and choose the location that was best for us - it was BEAUTIFUL! All of the food for our reception was phenomenal and are guests kept talking/asking about it as well! The day went so smoothly and everyone really helped to ease my anxieties. I highly recommend considering Sherman Lake for your special day!

    Gorgeous for a Fairytale Wedding

    Overall this was the most GORGEOUS venue and we’re glad we got married here. However, communication was extremely difficult. I understand being forgetful, but she’d say we would get things “by the end of the day” and they would come literally months later after asking multiple times. We were also promised things that never ended up happening. Despite this, the wedding itself went really well and the beauty of the place totally made up for it. Another huge plus of this venue is that the catering is in-house and they’re extremely competent in handling allergies. The food was super tasty too!! I do recommend getting married here as long as you’re a strong communicator and comfortable reaching out to make sure your needs and requests are met.

Yes, self-parking is available.
Our on-site accommodations include a bridal cabin at no charge for you to get ready. Additional cabins are available for rental at $250/night. Cabins sleep twelve and have restroom facilities within the cabins. We have 18 cabins with a total of 216 beds.
The Sherman Lake YMCA Outdoor Center is a non-smoking facility. Smoking must be confined to the inside of personal vehicles.
We do not allow outside catering. All of your food service needs are handled in-house. Prices will be determined after the final menu has been planned as each menu is tailored specifically to you. We oversee the entire event from the culinary and foodscaping standpoint.
No, if you choose to provide alcohol for your guests at your Kellogg Hall reception we ask that you work with our exclusive partner to provide service of beverages at your event.
You will need a Certificate of Liability if you choose to have alcohol at your wedding.

Yes! All our facilities are wheelchair accessible. We also have ramps at the main and side entrances, hearing-impaired fire alarm lights, and trained staff.
