You even stated that there was no need for a conversation and told me to “read the review,” so I’m unclear on what further resolution you’re seeking. I also want to clarify a few factual inaccuracies in this review. The ceremony was scheduled to begin at 4:00 PM, and I arrived at 3:40 PM. I was there 20 minutes before the scheduled start time, so stating that I “arrived late” is simply not accurate. Regarding my attire, I wore a black wedding dress and black flats . Black wedding dresses are a recognized and appropriate choice for wedding ceremonies as officiant and I’m unclear how wearing a formal black wedding dress could reasonably be described as inappropriate attire. As for the pronunciation of the name, I acknowledge that I might mispronounced it and apologized before the ceremony as I know I am human and get nervous as well . I understand how that could have been frustrating, and I take responsibility for that mistake. However, I don’t believe it is fair to characterize the entire service as unprofessional based on that alone. I also want to address the statement that I was “dismissive.” From my perspective, there were interactions before and during the ceremony that contributed to the overall experience on both sides, From the moment I arrived, I felt that the interaction with me was dismissive. When I went to speak with Kyla, she walked past me as if I wasn’t there and then continued to ignore me while standing there. and I did my best to carry out the ceremony professionally. I respect that every couple is entitled to their experience and opinion. However, reviews should also accurately reflect what actually occurred. I arrived before the scheduled ceremony time, and I was dressed in a formal black wedding dress. Those two points in particular are factual and can be verified. I also want to clarify that I was not being dismissive toward you or anyone in your party. That was never my intention, and it does not reflect how I conduct myself. I’m naturally a friendly, welcoming, and helpful person, especially when I’m there to provide a service and be part of someone’s special day. If something came across differently, I’m sorry that it was perceived that way, but I do want to be clear that I did not intentionally ignore or dismiss anyone.
