We are Anngye & Juan, a husband-and-wife wedding photography and videography team with over 6 years of experience. We care about more than just pretty photos. We want our couples to feel comfortable, enjoy their day, and receive a gallery that tells the full story from beginning to end. Every photo and film is personally edited by us so the final result always reflects our warm, cinematic style. We also offer a simplified Zola exclusive photography package for couples who want professional coverage with one photographer and a straightforward price.
What sets us apart is consistency. We are happy to share full wedding galleries so couples can see exactly what an entire wedding day looks like, not just a few selected highlights. Every image is personally edited by Anngye & Juan, and we focus on natural moments, true emotion, flattering portraits, and a warm cinematic look. The best photographers!
From the moment we connected with Anngye & Juan, we knew we had found our photographers. They were quick to respond to every message and stayed flexible with us throughout the entire planning process, which took so much stress off our shoulders. On our wedding day, they made us feel at ease in front of the camera and delivered photos so fast that we could share them with family right away. The quality of their work is stunning—every shot felt like a moment we'll treasure forever. What really stood out was how honest they were with us about timelines and what was realistic, and they didn't hesitate to adjust plans when we needed them to. We were able to truly enjoy our day because we trusted their vision completely, and the final product exceeded anything we imagined.

Incredible Disappointment
I wish I were able to recommend our wedding photographer, but more than a year after our wedding, I am still deeply affected by what happened. We hired Juan for our wedding on June 13, 2025, with eight hours of photography coverage and a timeline that had been communicated in advance. He was scheduled to arrive at our chapel at 3:00 PM, with first-look photos beginning at 3:30 PM and our ceremony at 4:00 PM. He texted us that afternoon indicating that he was delayed and later told us he had arrived, but he had gone to the wrong location. He did not arrive at the correct venue until approximately 4:08 PM, after our ceremony was originally supposed to have begun. We delayed the ceremony until 4:15 PM as a result. Because of this, we completely lost the opportunity to have several planned moments photographed, including my first look with my bridesmaids and my dad seeing me as a bride for the first time. Unfortunately, we later discovered that the missing coverage extended beyond the period when he was absent. When we received our gallery, there were no photographs of our processional. None. We do not have photographs of our wedding party walking down the aisle. We do not have photographs of my dad walking me down the aisle. We do not have photographs of my husband's reaction as he saw me coming down the aisle. At first, we hoped these photos had simply been left out of the gallery. We specifically asked about the missing processional photographs and never received a response. To our knowledge, these photographs simply do not exist. There were other issues as well. Although we paid for eight hours of coverage, Juan was at the correct venue from approximately 4:08 PM until shortly after 11:00 PM. Many of our reception photographs were also significantly overexposed or washed out. We ultimately requested and received the RAW image files so that we could try to salvage some of the photographs ourselves. We also purchased videography. The video was not delivered within the originally advertised timeframe, but we did eventually receive it. I want to include that because I think it is important to be fair about what was ultimately provided. We contacted Juan after the wedding with a detailed explanation of our concerns and requested financial compensation for the missed coverage. We received no financial compensation, and that request was never acknowledged. But what I don't think can be adequately expressed in a list of missed photographs, timelines, or contractual issues is how much this experience has affected me.bMore than a year later, I still have a hard time looking at other people's wedding photos. I often immediately click away because it hurts to see other couples have photographs of the exact moments that are permanently missing from ours. I will never have a photograph of my dad walking me down the aisle at my wedding. I will never have a photograph of my husband's face when he first saw me. Those moments happened once. They cannot be staged again or recreated. I sincerely hope that sharing our experience helps other couples make an informed decision when choosing who they trust to photograph their wedding.

We did go to the wrong location that afternoon and arrived at the chapel about an hour late. That was our mistake. It cost you moments at the start of the ceremony that cannot be recreated, and I will not minimize that. After your wedding we changed how we confirm every location with every couple, precisely because of this. I also think it is fair to share the full picture, because a one star rating does not. For your wedding we traveled from Michigan to Illinois and back the same night, and we covered your day through the end of your reception with both a photographer and a videographer. You received a complete gallery of hundreds professionally edited images, more than we had agreed to, plus the RAW files when you asked for them. You also received five separate films: your full wedding film, the complete ceremony, the speeches, your first dance, and the father daughter dance. We stayed in contact with you through the editing and delivery of every one of them. None of that replaces the photos you do not have, and I understand why those are what stay with you. But it is also the work we did for you, and I stand behind it. Juan Anngye & Juan
