I’m a professional secular celebrant based in SE Michigan, and I create inclusive, heartfelt wedding ceremonies that are completely centered on you. Whether your vibe is lighthearted, emotional, or somewhere in between, I’ll craft a ceremony that feels true to your story and the love you share. I’ve officiated over 600 weddings and believe every couple deserves a ceremony that’s personal, meaningful, and joy-filled—not a boring, scripted formality. Elopement Celebration
Eloping is about creating an intimate wedding. I'll help you make it memorable, whether it's just the two of you or with a select group of guests .
Sign and Go - Legal License Signing
This is all about the legalities, ust the two of you, your two witnesses, and me. Quick legal questions, simple pronouncement, stress-free event. Done at a park or coffee shop within 15min/miles of Ortonville.
Rehearsal Assistance
If a rehearsal is wanted, we'll meet to smooth things out for the big day. It's a fun and laid-back session to get everyone acquainted and comfortable with their roles. Rehearsal is in addition to the ceremony.

Best Officiant in Metro Detroit!
We had the absolute pleasure of hiring Sabra as our Wedding Officiant for our May 2026 wedding at the Book Tower in Detroit, MI. Deciding who is going to marry you is a big decision. We weren’t sure who we were going to have to do it, and it’s a huge task. Thankfully, our wedding coordinator suggested Sabra after having worked with her at a previous wedding. From the very first meeting, Sabra took the time to get to know us and learn about our story. Since she didn’t know us prior, I wasn’t sure how it was all going to come together. But with each meeting and “homework” she made us complete, she was slowly building a beautiful ceremony for us. The words she put together not only eloquently told our love story for all our friends and family, but Sabra also conveyed our hopes and dreams for our marriage into a beautiful sermon that touched everyone who was there. She was able to expertly capture our humor and the things that were important to us, and it felt equally light-hearted and fun as it was emotional and serious. We had so many friends and family compliment her and her officiant skills. They all said it was one of the best ceremonies that they have attended and Sabra spoke in such a powerful and professional way. On top of all of this, she helps ensure you are all set with your marriage certificate and handles the mailing of it for you afterwards. Truly lifted the stress of making any mistakes with the legal aspect. If you are unsure of who to hire or ask as your officiant, take the pressure off your friend or family member. They will not compare to the expertise and personalization that Sabra will bring to your wedding. Hiring Sabra was one of the best things we did for our wedding!

Sabra has mastered her craft
Sabra married us on June 09, 2023. I can not express properly just how amazing she is. We started off with a phone conversation to make sure we all vibed. From the beginning she was awesome. She listened to our wants and helped stay on schedule at rehearsal and kept things together at the wedding. The words she spoke and the story she told…. Not a dry eye at our ceremony.
