Hi, I’m Matthew Loveless, and I’m thrilled that you’re considering me to be a part of your special day. My journey as a wedding officiant began in 2014 when I was asked to officiate my brother’s wedding. It wasn’t your typical ceremony—picture me wielding a sledgehammer! But that’s when I realized something: I love performing weddings, and the more unique and unconventional, the better! Since then, I’ve been passionate about creating ceremonies that are as distinctive as the couples I serve.

While I’m open to performing all types of weddings—religious, secular, traditional, or spiritual—what truly excites me is making sure every ceremony is an authentic reflection of the couple. I’m Pagan myself, and I embrace all paths. Whether you want something rooted in tradition or something that celebrates your favorite fandoms (yes, I’m a big geek and love cosplay!), I’m here to ensure your wedding is uniquely yours. I’m committed to bringing your vision to life, without worrying about others imposing their ideas on your ceremony.

Intimate ceremony

Description

If you are looking to have a very small intimate ceremony between you two and up to four witnesses. This package is perfect for when you want practicality with a touch of magic to make your day something to remember. Requires at least 2 witnesses, Marriage License. No addons are allowed with this package.

Micro wedding/elopement

Description

Want to keep your wedding close and quiet, get away from the busy life of day to day. Or are you looking for a wedding that is just the right size? This package is perfect for that, the two of you and up to 50 witnesses come together for a simple ceremony. We will get together either through a call or in person to figure out what kind of ceremony you are looking for. From there we will custom make a ceremony for you.

The big ceremony

Description

When everything lines up, you have spent months making sure everything is perfect from the DJ to the place settings. Let a professional handle your ceremony, we will custom tailor one to you two that matches your esthetic, heritage, and personality. From serious weddings to crazy ones, we are happy to tackle any challenge in regards to the ceremony of your dreams and use our magic to make it happen.

Officiant insurance

Description

Are you having a friend or family member officiate your wedding but want a backup plan just in case they get cold feet or can’t make it at the last minute? I’ve got you covered! With this package, I’ll be on-site at your wedding with a backup script of your choice, ready to step in and officiate if needed.

    BOOK HIM!

    Matthew was the best decision we made for our wedding day. I would recommend him over and over and over again! He truly showed up and gave his all for us, all in a tweed suit in humid 90 Michigan weather, nonetheless. Communication was immediate and thorough. With the addition of next step advice and willingness to be included in those steps. He uses his unique personality to relate to you both and if you have the trust for him to portray yourselves through him and his speech, you can really see that he throughly enjoys what he’s been doing for all these years. We had a hand fasting ceremony and wouldn’t you know it, I forgot our cord. He had absolutely zero second thoughts to taking his tie off of his own neck for us to use right then and there and he completely saved our ceremony from one of the things I was most excited about. Not only that, he personally mailed and updated us timely, on our license and progress after the ceremony. We had countless compliments on him from friends, family and guests and each time we couldn’t agree more. I don’t think we’ve told anyone our story yet without including him in it. For memories sake I hope he did make it into a few photos! BOOK HIM!

Yes I can! I love doing vow renewals or big ceremonies following a courthouse wedding!
With an intimate ceremony we do it on your time at a location you choose. You just have to provide a few witnesses, all of us will get together and perform a small ceremony in your preferred belief.
Yes! Most of the weddings I perform are personalized to each couple. From small tweaks to writing the entire ceremony script from the ground up!
While I have been performing weddings for friends and family since 2014 I just recently decided to step into doing this full time in July 2024.
