We began our journey in 2015 with a dusty gravel pit and vision for a new home. The gem was the stunning 30 acre crystal clear lake. After purchasing the property we found ourselves hosting church activities and work functions as people truly loved being here. Slowly, we began adding amenities to the property. In 2020 one of our daughters got engaged. As she began looking for a venue to host her wedding we came to realize that the perfect spot was right in front of us. We wanted it to be a very special place and we went to work to create a beautiful wedding venue. There are many opportunities on the property for one of a kind pictures. There are two picturesque options in front of the lake for the service and a new reception building that can seat up to 200 guests. With a 5 acre campus larger weddings can be accommodated with tent rental.

Then, you can join over 300 guests for a reception. This setup will allow you to soak up the landscape while celebrating with your loved ones. The base package includes tables, chairs, a tent as well as setup and teardown. Use of the grounds for your rehearsal and engagement photos are subject to availability. Lake Lucy Event Venue offers 140 acres of land with an 80 acre private lake encompassed on the property. There are many well maintained walking trails, plenty of open space and beautiful scenery. There is an option to bring the bridal party on a hay wagon, which makes for some pretty cool pictures. Both the bridal party and the grooms party can opt to get ready in a beautiful log home; usually the bridal party gets ready in the fully finished walkout basement, and the grooms party on main floor. We are located within 5 miles of Wixom, which offers many hotel options. There is currently no structures in the wedding venue area, but have started construction on a pavilion for the 2024 season. Built-in 1848, the wedding barn was originally a working farm, used as a hay and milking barn on the Briggs family 500-acre farm. Once the family moved on, however, the property slowly fell into disrepair, including the barn. Luckily, right away Joel had an amazing vision for what could be the ideal spot, he saw the potential like no other for a unique Irish Hills Wedding location and was happy to buy the property in 2017. Lafayette Greens is a green space and urban garden in the heart of downtown Detroit, next door to the famous Coney Islands and across the street from the fabulous Westin Book Cadillac Hotel. The award-winning garden, created by Kenneth Weikal Landscape Architecture, was donated to The Greening of Detroit by Compuware in 2014 and is a place of beauty. A certified pollinator garden, focused on growing plants for butterflies, native and honey bees and birds, your ceremony could take place amongst the fluttering of butterflies, chirping of birds and happy hum of bees.

It was originally named the Players Riverboat Casino II and was built in Jennings, Louisiana in 1993. It ran as a Merv Griffin establishment for a number of years, located on the Mississippi River in Metropolis, Illinois. The Crystal Ballroom, the crown jewel of the newly renovated, and built Fred M. Alger Center at The War Memorial, provides the perfect setting for your reception. Graystone Banquet Hall sits in a lovely residential neighborhood in Perrysburg, OH. The hall itself is quite spacious and very affordable. It has been hosting events for 10+ years including: wedding and ceremony, fundraisers, special dinners, Christmas parties, baby showers, trade shows, and dances just to name a few. Prior to being a banquet hall it actually used to be a roller skating rink which you can visualize with the large flooring. It also has a very large parking lot to accommodate many vehicles on either side of the building. The hall is conveniently located just minutes away from 795 and several different hotels in the area. Outside catering is welcome and we provide everything for the bar. Our hall can host 350 guests comfortably. We will provide all the tables and chairs for you and set them up as well.
