She helped move things along in the planning process when things got stressful and was even able to manage my mother who had differing design opinions and direction to create something we were both happy with. I can't describe how lucky we were to find Silk & Shadows: not only did Ava and Sasha execute flawlessly, they understood that we wanted something a little weird and a little subversive, and they were right there with us. They were funny, kind, efficient, and seemed to really care that this once-in-a-lifetime experience played out exactly how we envisioned. “Hiring Hannah was hands-down one of the best decisions we made for our wedding (other than marrying each other). We had a very DIY, non-traditional wedding at a summer camp, with a lot of moving pieces, and she somehow made the entire weekend feel seamless—even when there was plenty of chaos happening behind the scenes! From the moment our guests started arriving Friday, she was there. She stayed overnight at camp, helped with our rehearsal, welcomed and coordinated arriving guests, and made sure everyone knew where they needed to be. Before the wedding, she communicated with all of our vendors, connected everyone with the timeline and important details, and made sure everyone was on the same page before the weekend even began. On the wedding day, she was absolutely invaluable. She helped bring together all of the DIY pieces we had planned, from getting the dining hall set up and keeping the event flowing to coordinating vendors and making sure the timeline stayed on track. She was organized, flexible, incredibly calm under pressure, and always seemed to have a solution before we even realized there was a problem. And there were definitely problems! We had a significant catering issue that could have easily disrupted the evening, but she handled it completely behind the scenes. We had no idea the extent of what she was dealing with until later because she protected us from the stress and let us keep enjoying our wedding. That alone was worth its weight in gold. She was also just fun to have around. She brought great ideas, communicated clearly, adapted to whatever we threw her way, and had the kind of wedding expertise that immediately puts you at ease. Her ability to keep everyone calm, even when things were moving quickly, was incredibly impressive. Our wedding looked like a beautiful, effortless celebration—but there was a LOT happening behind the scenes to make it that way, and she was the person holding it all together. “When my husband and I started our journey to plan our wedding, I knew we were going to need some help. We are non traditional, with very eclectic tastes, and we were going to need someone special to help us pull off all of our insane ideas. I extensively researched over 20 coordinators, had a phones calls with 5 different companies, but ultimately I knew Ashley from Rose Event Co. was going to be the one. From the start she personable, intelligent, and made me feel understood in what our vision was for our special day. Throughout the process she was punctual with all of our appointments, gave helpful suggestions, and made me feel confident leaving my type A personality and needs in her hands. The weekend of the wedding came, and a lot of creative problem solving as well. We rented a private mansion for our event and did the rehearsal the day before. Ashley was there early, having already communicated with my other vendors and the venue to make sure we would be prepared for our big day. What we didn't expect was the kitchen under construction, furniture and decor that had not been moved at our previous requests(but promised), rooms that we had planned for, but could no longer use, and the Venue staff not "remembering" months worth of text and phone call conversations about our needs and expectations, as well as their promises and what they were supposed to deliver. There were other issues, but I digress. Ashley immediately stepped in with ideas and to be the go between with the Venue, and to help troubleshoot the long list of problems that had now come up. The night before was stressful for my Husband and I, not knowing if we were going pull this off, but I knew with Ashley, we were in good hands. The day of she brought her A game, a stunning red dress, and handled business. She was not afraid to get involved and make sure everything we wanted happened. She listened to our needs, knew when to step up or step down, was super flexible in our timeline and made sure to handle any issues that arose during the wedding. Her ability to read a situation and adapt to the issues at hand made her the perfect fit to our crazy ideas. She has incredible creative problem solving and is kind hearted and hard working. If it wasn't for Ashley, we could not have pulled off our day. I would recommend her 10x's over, to any bride that wants an absolute badass by their side. She handles business, and gives confidence to her clients. Thank you Ashley and Rose Event Co. for turning what could have been a disaster into a day dream!”

“All couples need Dana and her team with Thyme & Details for their big day. We hired Dana as a day of coordinator but she is so much more than that. She went to countless vendor meeting and kept track of all of my overly detailed instructions to make sure each piece of our day (timeline, vendor contracts, etc) worked with those details. When the venue dropped the ball, others got details wrong, or vendors fell through, Dana was always a step ahead and came up with even better solutions than our original plans. Dana really knows the ins and outs of organizing a wedding, is in tune with the Columbus wedding scene, and has incredibly valuable connections. “Delaney and her assistant Keziah went above and beyond to make sure our day was nothing short of magical! They made sure we ran on time (easier said then done with a bride who is late for everything), made sure we looked perfect for every photo, and most importantly made sure we had fun all night! “Kaila is really great! We hired her as our day-of coordinator for our recent micro wedding and it was absolutely one of the best decisions we made. She was able to advise us on the event timeline, toast procedure, etc. in the months leading up to the big day, which was incredibly helpful since we'd never done this before. She also attended our rehearsal and helped make sure everything ran smoothly and everyone knew the plan. She was great at collaborating with our officiant during this process as well. But it was the day of the event when she really shined. As the bride, I didn't want to have to think about any logistics at the venue while I was getting ready and with Kaila, I didn't have to! She sent me one quick question via text that morning that I was glad to weigh in and otherwise, she totally took care of the rest. The venue looked amazing, everything ran like clockwork, and she made sure to keep us in the loop when (and only when) it was necessary. She even brought us some appetizers to snack on while we were waiting on a vendor to arrive to bustle my dress so that we didn't miss out on our own food! If you're looking for a great partner to provide just that little extra coordination the day of your event, I highly recommend Kaila!”

“Maya was so helpful as our day-of-coordinator for both days of our wedding. She worked with me prior to the wedding to make sure we were completely prepared with all of the details. She was amazingly helpful on our wedding days, ensuring that everything went smoothly and I didn’t have to worry about a thing and was able to focus and enjoy the days. Maya even ran to the store in 100 degree heat because we needed more water for our group and dropped off gifts and other items at our house after our reception so we could enjoy our time with our friends and family. We are so thankful for Maya’s attention to detail and helpfulness.”

“Jodie is the best!! My wedding was in June of 2021 and I still look back on how awesome Jodie was for our wedding planning needs! She is super knowledgeable about EVERYTHING. She helps you think of the tiniest details that are easy to forget. She was there for all of our vendor calls and always had everything well planned out! She created a month by month itinerary which helped us stay on track. Anytime we had to pick our next vendor for something she would have a call with us to understand what our needs were for that specific vendor and then go back and do research to compile a list of top 3-5 vendors that match our needs and gives pros/cons for each one. She makes sure they’re all in our budget but doesn’t show us the prices upfront so we don’t automatically pick the cheapest or most expensive and actually pick with our hearts. Once we’ve narrowed down to 2-3 vendors then we see prices and helps us pick! This made sure we had the day we truly wanted. Not only was she great leading up but she was amazing day of! There were a couple of hiccups on our venue’s end but Jodie made sure everything was taken care of so that we weren’t stressed. She is truly the best!!!! Would for sure recommend to everyone!!”

“We absolutely loved having Kacie as our wedding coordinator and cannot recommend her enough! She was incredibly professional, organized, and on top of every detail throughout our entire wedding day. Everything stayed on schedule and everything went exactly as planned. Kacie worked incredibly hard and made our lives so much easier. We were pretty "low-maintenance" and were happy to delegate things to her, and she took care of everything, even little details like how we wanted the napkins folded. She took our decor from us in advance so we didn't have to worry about it on the day. Another small thing we appreciated was that she immediately brought plates of food from the buffet to the bride and groom so we could actually eat without having to think about it. At the end of the night, she carefully boxed up and labeled everything for us, did a full sweep of the venue, and even found items we had accidentally left behind. We had a Jewish wedding, and she draped the huppah fabric so it looked gorgeous and made sure the glass was in place and ready for us to break during the ceremony. Having a coordinator made a huge difference in our wedding experience. We didn't have one for our welcome party, and we regretted it. Kacie is a pleasure to work with and we highly recommend hiring her! (We don't have professional photos back yet, but wanted to share these!)”

“Paige was an incredible (or dare I say, perfect) wedding coordinator for our August 2026 wedding at Rocky Hill Events in White Salmon. From our very first call, we connected with Paige due to her warmth, confidence, experience, and passion for working with couples to execute their dream wedding days. Throughout our year and a half engagement, Paige was kind, caring, organized, and supportive. In the month leading up to our wedding, she was punctual and on top of every call and was always quick to respond to any questions or requests. We had a few small hiccups at our wedding that Paige was able to help remedy. She was compassionate when my mom received an unexpected breast cancer diagnosis, offering ideas of ways to support her on the big day. She also helped workshop solutions to small family and friend dynamic problems we encountered along the way, always centering us as the couple in her work. She also brought along a wedding day assistant, Jillian, who was wonderful as well! Paige is more than just a coordinator, she truly becomes your friend in the process, which is exactly what we were hoping for. Starting as a young teen, he would let me tag along to weddings to help haul equipment.
