Words almost fail to express how freaking fabulous our time with The Barker House was! We are just over 3 months married (3/27/2025) and family and friends still remark to us on just how fun and gorgeous our wedding was. A ton of that credit goes to the amazing staff at the Barker House. Right from the start of our first tour, we were treated with such kindness and respect from the Barker House team. We were immediately sold on the staff (who took such time and care chatting with us) before we even fell in love with the venue. Davis-Lynn and Lilly were our rockstars! We were lucky enough to have them with us on our wedding day. The first portion of the day I was incredibly nervous, but once I was greeted by Davis-Lynn at the front door all my worries dissipated. I knew I was in the best of hands and suddenly felt ready to have fun. Even during the dinner service, Lilly was so kind as to sew my ripped bustle behind the scenes. She was so dedicated to making sure we had the best experience. The venue is simply stunning. As two people who appreciate history and go antiquing regularly, The Barker House spoke to our personalities. The speak-easy feel of the sunken bar, fireplaces, and exposed beams are very unique. The venue is in a gorgeous area and we were glad to be by the ocean. The chef is phenomenal as the food service was top notch. Family still exclaim to us how delicious the food was (omg the short ribs perfection!). I also suggest that couples utilize The Barker House's recommended vendors. Not only was payment and interaction with them a breeze, but they were each fabulous in responsiveness and quality. Awesome Blossom, Toast To That Entertainment, and Kristen Griffin Photography were incredibly professional and they each blew us away. I could go on and on... The bottom line, if you looking for a worry free all inclusive beautiful venue and want to work with the best people, look no further than The Barker House! P.S. Brides, make sure you get a picture with your planners! My only regret is that I didn't get a picture with Lilly and Davis-Lynn!

The Villa at Ridder Country Club was the perfect venue for our wedding. From the moment we started planning, the staff was incredibly communicative and responsive, answering our questions quickly, even in emergencies. On the day of, the venue was beautiful, up-to-date, and spotlessly clean. The staff were wonderful and attentive, with Becky in particular seeming to know what we needed before we did. We heard great things about the venue beforehand, and the overall experience truly exceeded our expectations. The Colonial Hotel was a perfect venue for our wedding Reception. From the moment we reached out, the team there was quick to respond and provided us with detailed information to help us plan our special event. Mary and all the staff we dealt with were very helpful in making our day truly special. The beautiful ballroom with the wood floors made for a night of fun dancing; the ballroom windows, outside stonework of the building and the gazebo made for some stunning photos. We received great comments from our guests on the appetizers and meal. It was a beautiful setting for our wedding celebration and we were very glad to find it.

We couldn’t have been happier with our wedding at Olio in Peabody! Sarah, the venue owner and owner of Without a Hitch, was great — responsive, attentive, and dedicated to ensuring every detail of our day was perfect. The venue itself was beautiful and modern, featuring historic hardwood floors and tall windows that added character and warmth to the space. The high ceilings and acoustics made our band sound SO good - everyone was dancing all night! The string lighting and complimentary up-lighting created a festive holiday vibe that our guests loved. A La Carte Catering and Premier Bar Service did an amazing job, providing signature drinks, tasty passed appetizers, and food stations in a way that encouraged mingling. It was truly the perfect day in every way!

We had an absolutely amazing wedding at Willowdale. The facility is gorgeous, the staff is amazing and everything was perfect. And the food, the food was so good! Before the actual amazing day, we had a seamless planning process, we always had someone to help us with questions (both big and small) and always felt supported. From the second we saw the venue in person and met with the Event Manager, Myles, we knew we found the perfect venue. The venue was beautiful from the start but the added touches of drapery, being able to select the right arch from their numerous options and countless other decor items really allowed us to bring our vision to life. The event spaces of the ceremony room, courtyard for cocktail hour and reception room comfortably fit our 94 guests. We were also very appreciative of not only having a spacious bridal suite to get ready in but also a grooms suite, as both came in handy. In briefly working with the Owner and Event Manager, Erin, we were introduced to the transportation option of using the venue's trolley service, which we were so thrilled we went with as our guests greatly enjoyed the special ride. And as mentioned, we knew The Boylston Rooms was the right venue for us after we met with Myles. Working with Myles was fun, effortless and very thorough. We also had the chance to work with Event Manager, Alyssa, on the day of the wedding who did a great job meeting our needs each step of the way. We would highly recommend working with The Boylston Rooms if you're looking for a spectacular venue with myriad decor options and wonderful staff members. Harrington Farm was the first venue my husband and I toured. From that moment on, we found ourselves comparing every other venue that we toured to Harrington Farm- spoiler alert, none of them came even close to checking all of the same boxes. Harrington Farm’s all-inclusive package is a no-brainer: ceremony & reception venue with a massive dinner menu, individualized day-of planning, cake (with 2 bakers to choose from), coffee bar, AND a 5-hour open bar?! Count us in! The team at Harrington Farm was nothing short of incredible. From day one, Lauryn took care of making sure that all of our planning went smoothly, answered all of our (many) questions, and constantly secured our trust in Harrington Farm with handling our big day. On the actual day, Jess was the best bridal attendant I ever could have asked for. She made sure each and every one of our needs were met all night long. In addition to all of the other perks, the food at Harrington Farm is beyond amazing (you can’t say that about most venues). We especially loved the option to add the smoker to our menu items! We have received (and continue to receive) numerous compliments on our choice in wedding venue and we have to agree. The Red Lion Inn is first class. We booked our wedding about 8 months out for just shy of 200 people. We were immediately assigned Krystel to work with who managed everything!! After I sourced our vendors, Krystel took on communication with them of when they were arriving, what they needed, etc. Krsytel was there to answer any questions we have and make our day special to us. We upgraded the tables as I did not want linens on the tables and Krystel worked to ensure the flow the room remained amazing. We had a 9 piece band that was perfectly situated and taken care of. The day of Tufick was THE MAN. He kept everything moving smoothly, we couldn’t have been worried or concerned about a thing. The food was incredible, the after party was a blast and we have memories for a life time

We had the most magical day of our lives getting married at the Hampshire House in early May this year. Right from the get go, Hampshire House checked all our boxes when it came to what we were looking for in a wedding venue. It has that old New England charm, is located right next to the beautiful Public Gardens and is the perfect size for an intimate, small to medium sized wedding (we had 60-70 guests in attendance). Most of all, the food here is beyond exceptional and some of the best we’ve had. We are major foodies, and having food that was well-plated, generously portioned, and above all delicious and memorable was a high priority item for us. We were lucky enough to be able to work with Sydney Turnbull and the Hampshire house team. Sydney is the most kind, professional, and detail-oriented catering sales manager and event coordinator and thanks to her, all our venue planning with Hampshire House was truly smooth sailing and stress-free. Sydney constantly kept us in the loop with next steps in our planning timeline, offering thoughtful recommendations and suggestions for our wedding (such as floral placements during our ceremony, order and timing of toasts/speeches, seating arrangements, the list goes on!) She kept in contact with all our vendors, always promptly responded to our many emails, walked us through all the steps during our ceremony rehearsal —somehow making it seem much less daunting, and on our big day Sydney seemed to always be one step ahead, preparing and leading us through every portion of our wedding timeline in such a seamless way. Lastly, since our wedding ended late into the evening, Hampshire House thoughtfully held on to and organized all our florals, and various wedding signage and other items so that we were able to return and pick it up at the venue on a following day. This made it so we didn’t have to worry about anything at all night of and could end our wedding day with the peace of mind that everything was taken care of. Truly, we cannot recommend Sydney and the Hampshire House enough and if we were to do it all over again, we wouldn’t change a thing!

Had the best experience having our wedding at Pagu! From start to finish, it was great working with the team, Chris & Amanda! We emailed countless questions leading up to the day and they were always great in getting things answered and problem solving as needed. They have worked on many weddings and it shows why people continue to choose them. We had a wedding of about 60 guests and the space had more than enough room. We were able to utilize the patio space as well to get air when needed and so it was great to be able to spread out so comfortably. They could easily handle a larger wedding though as we originally were looking at higher numbers when we started. While your wedding day is overwhelming and you don't often get time to eat, the team made sure to bring us food on their upstairs balcony where we could hide out after our ceremony to eat and get a little quiet time away from guests. They also made sure to package anything we didn't eat (and the many leftover desserts that I overordered on from an outside source) for us to pick up the next day. We were so grateful for this and the food was still great as leftovers--truly! Their service is truly unmatched and they also are great in handling food restrictions/allergies--guests specifically noted this! They brought out smaller portions for those guests when needed so they still had enough options. We are still getting compliments on the food and drinks as well as atmosphere. We can't wait to celebrate many anniversaries eating dinner here too as the food is what absolutely sold us. We especially enjoyed getting to make our own cocktails which guests also raved about.

Our daughter just celebrated her wedding this past weekend at the Kimpton Marlowe, and I can't imagine a more perfect experience! We visited quite a few venues that we loved, but once we found KM and Rachel, we knew we had found our place. I'm not sure where to begin! The planning process was never stressful thanks to Rachel's patience, professionalism and organizational skills. Our daughter lives out of state, and I can only imagine the insane amount of emails that flew back and forth between her and Rachel! She kept us all calm, and we were always confident that the day would be perfect because of her extraordinary efforts. The venue itself has everything a bridal party could want. It's in an accessible location for out of state visitors to explore Boston and Cambridge. The staff are all warm, friendly and eager to help with anything. The price is very reasonable; we had ruled out Boston/Cambridge because of our budget, but KM turned out to be right on target. There is convenient parking on site. We were offered a block of rooms in the hotel for an amazingly good price, so that our guests didn't have to worry about driving after a big party! The food was exceptional, from appetizers to dinner and even late night snacks of pizza, cookies and milk! The reception room was gorgeous and is very easy to work with because of the neutral colors. I think one of our favorite parts was that we had the entire second floor of the hotel to ourselves! The ceremony, cocktail hour, reception and even a room for the bride to retreat when she needed to change was all included. The younger guests danced until the very end, and the "older" parents and guests found a quiet spot to hang out in the lobby area outside of the reception hall, filled with comfortable sofas, chairs and tables. All who attended were happy with the many choices to party, relax and mingle. In my opinion, KM and Rachel are a still a hidden gem in the greater Boston area. I hope this review helps to get the word out that they are the place to go if you are looking for an affordable option with fabulous spaces, delicious food and most of all, an event planner who puts her heart and soul into everything she does. This venue is STUNNING! We wanted a place that was beautiful enough on its own that we could save money on decor, and THIS WAS IT! Both the indoor and outdoor spaces were beautiful. And we loved that we had access to the patio and outdoor fireplace all night, many great spots for our guests to mingle during the reception while they watched the sunset. Our day-of coordinator was super helpful and professional, but we didn’t get to meet him until the day before the wedding. Up until that point we worked exclusively with the “Event Coordinator” sales associate, who was nice enough but not very communicative. I often had to follow up multiple times to get my questions answered, she rarely reached out first with information, or she’d think she sent me things she hadn’t yet. I know a “coordinator” is not the same as a “planner,” but my other vendors were surprised she wasn’t more hands on. The venue is totally worth it, but the person that gives you the tour will likely be the same person you work with throughout the planning process, so make sure you like their vibe!

We had our wedding in the Cupola Room at Woods Hill Pier 4 in late December, and it was absolutely perfect. Planning a Boston wedding all the way from Oregon could have been a challenge, but the team at Woods Hill Pier 4 made it so easy. They were incredibly organized and clear about every detail, responding quickly to all our questions and requests. Their professionalism and willingness to accommodate us made the process smooth and stress-free, and we felt confident everything would go perfectly—and it absolutely did. On the day of the wedding, the team truly went above and beyond to make everything special. The Cupola Room created an elegant and intimate atmosphere, with stunning views that added to the magic of the evening. The staff made us and our guests feel so welcome and taken care of—it was such a wonderful experience from start to finish. The room was setup to accommodate our small ceremony ahead of dinner, with plenty of space to have our ceremony without feeling cramped and then the same with our table setup. Our custom menus on the place settings was the perfect finishing touch. We coordinated a champagne toast post ceremony and Woods Hill Pier 4 ensured that happened without a hitch. For our tasting dinner with eight guests, the Lodge Menu was the perfect fit for us to select our menu, but still provide a balance for our guests to have their individual preferences. We added a pasta course, and it was such a great decision. This extra course really elevated the meal and gave our guests even more to enjoy. For the main course, we were able to pull from their main menu along with the Ledge options to ensure our guests would have the options they needed. Each dish was executed perfectly. Dessert was just as memorable. The wine pairings we chose from their cellar, including the Gaston Chiquet ‘Special Club’ Champagne and Jacques-Frederic Munier Pinot Noir, complemented the meal beautifully. In addition, the thoughtful blend of cocktails, and beer selections made sure every guest was happy with something that suited their individual preferences. Woods Hill Pier 4 exceeded all of our expectations, and we couldn’t imagine a better place to celebrate. The combination of incredible food, attentive service, and a beautiful setting made it truly unforgettable. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and memorable venue, especially for those planning from afar—you’ll be in excellent hands!

The Lakehouse was the perfect venue for our wedding day. From the very beginning, the team at The Lakehouse was friendly, punctual, and responsive in their communication. On the day of, their bridal attendant made me feel like I didn't have to think about a single thing - she took care of every detail seamlessly. The venue itself is absolutely stunning and gorgeous, transporting you to another world. Growing up in Halifax, I never thought I'd feel like I was anywhere but my small hometown, but The Lakehouse managed to make it feel like we were somewhere completely new and special. The quality of their work and attention to detail is unmatched, creating a truly unforgettable experience for us and all of our guests. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect venue for our wedding day.

The experience begins with a wagon ride whisking your guests to the perfect spot atop the Orchard of over a thousand apple trees, with views of three neighboring towns. After the Ceremony, is the Pavilion Reception. The Pavilion has sliding walls- which means your 'outdoor' wedding is rainproof! The Pavilion has lights strung throughout to create an unmatched rustic ambiance. Our one-of-a-kind property shines with features including a raw edge custom wood bar, large stone fire pit, sprawling lawn, a barnyard crew (lovable mini horses, goats and a llama), a greenhouse with adjacent floral gardens and acres upon acres for amazing photo opportunities! We booked Hyland Orchard for our 9.27.24 wedding and it was simply the best decision we made! This venue is absolutely stunning and amazing to work with! If you’re looking to book here and have the option to hire Doe, DO IT! She was my go to person with wedding planning and made the process way easier! We also hired her for her beautiful rental decor & florals! She absolutely killed it and it could not have turned out better. Everyone loved the florals & decor! My bouquet & the bridesmaids were breathtaking and she nailed all my inspo I sent her! She did our arbor also and it was stunning!! She’s truly an amazing person and really cares about all of your wants and needs! & bonus because she makes it happen!! Overall If I could have done anything different I wouldn’t have! She made sure everything went smoothly and we had the best day getting married on the hilltop overlooking the orchard!! 10000/000 recommend having your wedding at Hyland Orchard and hiring Doe!
