The Barn at Wight Farm is the picture-perfect choice for a Sturbridge wedding featuring a restored post and beam barn with indoor and outdoor space to accommodate a ceremony and reception for up to 175. The Barn offers couples rustic elegance that is unmatched compared to the area choices for weddings. Set on nearly four acres in a colonial village setting, the Barn has beautifully landscaped grounds including a patio and fire pit. A climate controlled indoor ceremony location with rustic barn floors puts your mind at ease and keeps guests cool in the summer and warm in the winter. A spacious bridal suite is included with all weddings which provides the bride the opportunity to have special pre-wedding photographs and a beautiful setting to start the most important day of her life.

The Winthrop Room is our newest reception space on the grounds of The Collection at Wight Farm. Adjacent to The Barn, The Winthrop Room is a beautiful post and beam building finished with a farmhouse feel in soft whites and sandalwood tones. Winthrop room guests can expect the same highly acclaimed cuisine and hospitality The Barn at Wight Farm is known for. The Winthrop Room is perfect for weddings and events of all types with a capacity of up to 125.

The Perfect Wedding Venue
We truly could not have asked for a better wedding venue. We booked well in advance, which meant I had plenty of questions throughout the planning process. Every single time I reached out, the team was quick to respond, helpful, and incredibly patient. From day one, it was obvious that they genuinely cared about making our wedding everything we wanted it to be. On the wedding day, Ariana was our coordinator, and she was absolutely amazing. She was always nearby making sure Chris and I had everything we needed and checking in to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. Every time I turned around, someone from the venue was asking if they could get us anything or help in some way. It made us feel so taken care of throughout the entire day. Erin handled our design details and was wonderful to work with. There were a few last-minute adjustments I wanted made, and she handled them quickly and seamlessly. Everything looked exactly how I had envisioned it. One thing that really stood out was how experienced and organized the entire team was. They clearly know weddings inside and out. They kept everything running smoothly behind the scenes so we could focus on enjoying the day. The food was absolutely incredible. We attended a tasting beforehand, which was such a fun experience, and somehow the wedding-day meal was even better. Guests are still talking about how amazing the food was. The drinks were equally impressive. We chose signature cocktails based solely on ideas we liked and trusted the venue to bring them to life, and they absolutely nailed it. We received compliments on them all night long. I was initially a little nervous about the venue hosting multiple weddings on the same day, but that concern completely disappeared once we experienced it firsthand. Our ceremony and reception felt completely separate and private. Once we left the ceremony space, we were in our own building and focused entirely on our celebration. I didn’t even see the other bride all day. It never felt crowded or shared, and it certainly didn’t take away from the experience. Another unexpected bonus was the surrounding area. There are so many beautiful lake houses and Airbnbs nearby, which made it easy for our friends and family to stay close and turn the wedding into a full weekend experience. The venue itself is stunning, the food and drinks are incredible, and the staff goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. We had the best day of our lives, and a huge part of that is because of the team that made it all happen. We cannot recommend them highly enough.

Absolutely perfect! 4.19.26
From the moment that we booked this venue, we could tell that we were in good hands. The whole planning process felt organized and stress free. Danielle and her team were so wonderful in answering all of our questions and truly bringing our vision to life. The staff on the day off the wedding were so professional and we truly felt like we could enjoy every moment of our special day without worrying about the details. We continue to receive rave reviews for the delicious meals as well. Thank you all for everything!

Our Wedding
We had our wedding at the Barn on 4/4/26 and it was the most amazing day. We had about 80 guests and had plenty of space for everyone to move around and dance comfortably. The staff is also so kind and helpful. Danielle and Moira were amazing to work with and helped to make sure the day ran smoothly. We couldn't be happier with our experience at the Barn and would highly recommend them!

The Barn at Wight Farm was an absolute lifesaver for our wedding. When we had to switch venues six months before the big day, the team there was incredibly prompt, knowledgeable, and clear in their communication, making the transition seamless. Their fall decor was stunning and perfectly complemented our vision, and the value was unbeatable. On the day of, we had a dedicated bridal attendant who ensured we were able to fully enjoy our food, drinks, and each other without having to worry about the logistics. The ample parking and beautiful photo spots were an added bonus that our guests raved about. We couldn't have asked for a better wedding venue - the Barn at Wight Farm truly made our special day unforgettable.

Amazing and Effortless!
We can't recommend them enough! Their team makes it easy to plan a wedding from start to finish, providing their guidance and experience along the way. They were very flexible with building a wedding day timeline that worked for us and our guests, which created a fun, relaxing, and overall positive experience for us. Our guests couldn't stop raving about how beautiful and cozy the venue was (our wedding was in December) and how delicious the food and drinks were. We also used Avellino for our rehearsal dinner, and ordered our getting-ready brunch from Cedar St Cafe.
