Our wedding couples appreciate the authentic and welcoming warmth we offer at Salem Cross Inn – a warmth that can only be found in a colonial farmhouse and barn that have stood the test of time for centuries. If our walls could talk, they would tell you of all of the tender memories in the making that they have witnessed. Our New England venue with antique wide pine floors and chestnut beams sits on 600 acres of magnificent countryside with grazing cattle in the fields. We can accommodate up to 200 people in our barn and loft, while smaller weddings find a comfortable setting in one of our more intimate rooms in the house. We’re ready to help you make the wedding of your dreams become a cherished memory – not only for you – but for your guests as well.

If you need another room for your event, we offer the option to reserve multiple rooms.

We couldn’t have chosen a better venue!
We absolutely love Salem Cross Inn and are so happy we chose it for our wedding. From the very beginning, everyone was kind, helpful, and easy to work with. Donna, Nancy, and Dawn were especially wonderful and made us feel like we were in such good hands throughout the entire process. They were always there to answer questions, help with the little details, and make everything feel so much less stressful. Our wedding day was everything we hoped for and more. Everything felt seamless, the venue was absolutely beautiful, and our guests are still talking about how much they loved it. The food was incredible! Everything was delicious, the portions were generous, and our guests raved about it all night. They also made our wedding cake, and it was absolutely amazing! It was beautiful, delicious, and exactly what we wanted. The food and cake are still some of the first things people mention when they talk about our wedding! Salem Cross Inn will always be such a special place to us. We love going back and reliving those happy memories, and we can’t wait to celebrate our anniversary there. We truly couldn’t have imagined getting married anywhere else!

Best Day Ever
From the moment we booked Salem Cross Inn, we knew we had made the right choice. The staff was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process, and they set us up with a gorgeous space for our bridal party that felt intimate and special. On the day of the wedding, everyone who served our meal was attentive and genuine, making sure our guests felt welcomed and cared for—especially those who needed a little extra help. What really stood out was how the team treated every single person at our wedding like they mattered, from our closest family to our elderly relatives. Salem Cross Inn exceeded every expectation we had, and we honestly couldn't have dreamed of a better venue for our celebration.

Holiday Wonderland Experience
We had an AMAZING wedding experience at Salem Cross Inn for our winter holiday wedding! We wanted small, intimate, and more of a dinner party vibe. They provided this with ease as well as accommodated our requests, questions, and partnered this with great service. We could not have had a more pleasant and warm experience thanks to Salems with memories that we will forever cherish!

Our Vision Brought to Life
Salem Cross Inn checked all our boxes for the perfect venue. It was affordable and included an outdoor ceremony location as well as an indoor ceremony location in case of rain. Luckily, the weather was gorgeous for our early Autumn wedding to allow us to be married outside. Our guest list was small, less than 50 people, which allowed us to rent The Brookfield Room on the second floor. This was perfect for us and provided us with a dance room and recpetion room. The bridal suite gave us sanctuary to have our makeup and hair done while our amazing photographer wandered around capturing our day. The backdrop of a beautiful farm landscape made for the perfect fantasy enchanted forest wedding theme. But the staff were the real stars in our day as they made everything incredibly easy. Donna and Nancy checked in on us to make sure we were all set. They helped with some quick changes and genuinely enjoyed our party. Hailee was a superstar! She took care of anything we needed, made sure that our stuff was safe and was wonderful with the kids at our party. I cannot say enough amazing things about this venue. I am grateful for their professionalism, joy and the food was absolutely mouthwatering!!

We had our wedding at **Salem Cross Inn**, and it was truly nothing short of *perfect*. We were able to be fully present on our wedding day because we had complete trust in them—and they delivered beyond our expectations. The food? Incredible. So many of our guests told us it was hands-down the best wedding meal they’d ever had. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. From cocktail hour to dessert, it was top-notch. I truly cannot recommend Salem Cross Inn enough. It was the perfect backdrop for the most important day of our lives. If you’re looking for a venue that combines rustic elegance, flawless service, and unforgettable charm, look no further. It was everything we dreamed of and more.
