We knew from the moment we drove into the parking lot that this was going to be our venue! We had an appointment with Cathy O'Brien (we still keep in touch with her to this day) and were floored with her honesty, advice, excitement, and recommendations that we signed a contract that day. Our wedding and reception were held in Paige Hall in January of 2023 and it was stunning. The staff went above and beyond, and we can honestly say that the entire event went smoothly. The food was amazing and the portions are bigger than we could have expected--not a single guest needed to do a late night Wendy's run as this was not the typical wedding food that we are used to getting at other places. From the event coordinator to the service staff, everyone was incredibly kind and professional. The property itself is comfortable, there is plenty to do on-site as well as in the area, and we recommend opting for renting The Cottage for a post wedding hangout--it is a great spot for those that want to continue spending time together after the reception is over. We have been back to the Publick House more than a few times since the wedding, as we live close enough to do so. Often we will go for dinner, but the wedding package includes a 1yr Anniversary dinner and they will even make you your wedding cake again--and that dinner was delicious. We have felt welcomed each time we have gone back and will probably make our way there this weekend as writing this has brought back a lot of happy memories. We highly recommend this venue and we hope our feedback has been helpful to anyone who is looking into the Publick House.

We got married August 11th, 2023 and the Publick House was the perfect vendor all around. They were incredibly responsive whenever I had questions and always were courteous, professional, and gave real answers (not just canned responses). Working with Cathy was great, she really understood who we were as a couple and our vision for both the ceremony and the reception. She gave us lots of great ideas on how to incorporate our theme (lemon and lavender) into the decor while still maintaining the charm of Paige Hall and the outdoor arbor. Our wedding day went so smoothly and we could not have asked for more.

Choosing The Publick House for our wedding (August 2023) was the best decision we have ever made. Having everything all in one place - ceremony location, reception, a multitude of room options for guests to choose from, breakfast options, after party location, rehearsal dinner location - made everything run so smoothly. The convenience made the whole weekend stress-free and so amazing. The staff at The Publick House went above and beyond to ensure everything was flawless. From our initial planning meetings to the day of the wedding, their professionalism and attention to detail were exceptional, even with a couple last minute day-of detail changes. They made sure everything ran smoothly, with their focus completely on our happiness. The garden gazebo was beautifully arranged - our guests were equally impressed with the warm and inviting atmosphere, not to mention the delicious food - stuffed chicken, prime rib, vegetarian option and apps - served during cocktail hour and the reception. Overall, our experience at The Publick House was nothing short of perfection. Every aspect, from the beautiful setting to the impeccable service, contributed to making our wedding day truly unforgettable. We are immensely grateful to the entire team for their dedication and hard work in making our dreams a reality. We wouldn't change a single thing about our wedding weekend.. it was perfect :-)

We had our wedding in September and we were blown away by how amazing this venue was. Aside from the grounds and hotel being surrounded by beautiful flowers and gardens, the staff, food, cake, reception hall and outdoor ceremony spot were perfect. The staff's sincerity and attention to detail allowed us to go with the flow and enjoy our wedding day. Our guests loved the venue as much as we did!
