Hi! I'm Amanda! I am a lover of color and light, whose portraits are full of genuine emotion and life. I am a documentary style wedding photographer, and I very much enjoy capturing all the little in between moments as much as I do the big moments of your day. I want you to be able to look through your album and see the moments you may have missed while you were saying I do- your sister getting a little misty while you take your vows, your aunt taking shots with your besties. I want you to see the love you share with your partner reflected in your gallery.

I approach every wedding differently, communicating with each one of my couples about how they want their day to be captured. I call myself documentary-ish, meaning that we definitely will take time for amazing posed portraits, but when it comes to the bulk of your wedding day I am capturing each genuine moment as they come. I am a sucker for blue skies and big fluffy clouds, sunsets that paint the landscape with warmth, and true freaking love.

A Photographer Who Feels Like a Friend :)
Amanda was truly one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From our very first conversation, I knew she was someone special. We kept trying to plan our engagement shoot, but the weather had other ideas, and through all the rescheduling she was nothing but kind, flexible, and hilarious. She’s so down to earth, and we instantly clicked. I completely fell in love with her photography style and editing, and I am beyond happy that I trusted my gut and chose her to capture our wedding day. Amanda has this incredible ability to be completely professional without ever feeling stiff or intrusive. She somehow knows exactly when to quietly document a moment and when to step in and take charge, which trust me, was appreciated more than once on our wedding day! She always had my back. And then there are the photos… I genuinely could not have dreamed of anything more beautiful. She captured every emotion, every tiny detail, and somehow made everything feel natural and authentic instead of overly posed or staged. Also, can we talk about the flat lays?! Hello?! Absolutely obsessed. The attention to detail was unreal, and those images are some of my favorites. Amanda, thank you for giving us memories we’ll treasure for the rest of our lives. You are incredibly talented, and I cannot recommend you enough!

Simply the best
I haven’t even seen all my photos yet, but I don’t need to, to write this. Amanda is the absolute best. Obviously her photos are stunning but she’s so much more than that. They day of the wedding she is everything, acts as a second coordinator, keeping the time, making sure we have everything (flowers, the rings, literally everything) and in my delusion not having prepared any umbrellas, she had extra cute white ones. She even was the one to put my veil on when my bridesmaids disappeared into the venue. Her calm demeanor creates such a sense of security. We truly would’ve been lost without her. It’s pretty much just a bonus that her photos are insane.
