From our first conversation, the team at Barker House by Wedgewood Weddings was quick to respond to every question and concern we threw their way. Throughout the planning process, they were incredibly thoughtful—even remembering that I love Dr Pepper and having one waiting for me on the big day, which felt so special. The venue itself is beautiful and the pricing is transparent with no hidden fees, making it feel like a genuine value. Our reception ran just slightly behind schedule and a couple of tables got cool food, but honestly these minor hiccups didn't take away from how well everything else came together. The staff was kind and attentive from start to finish, and our guests couldn't stop raving about the experience. We would absolutely recommend Barker House to any couple looking for a venue that truly cares about making your day perfect.

Great spot!!
The barker house was the perfect wedding venue for our style and needs. They have everything you need as part of their packages for a very reasonable price. Plus it is a gorgeous venue. Our day of coordinator made the whole process completely seamless. I couldn’t have asked for a better venue

Disappointed
Our family chose Barker's Tavern for its historic significance and reputation, but our daughter's wedding reception on May 31, 2026, was marred by preventable issues and poor service. Key complaints include: Lack of consistent event coordination and poor communication. Staffing failures: bartender walked out, rude service, and insufficient waitstaff. Catering problems: burnt food, not enough food to serve vegetarian options, and paid-for items not served. Venue grounds were unkempt and unsuitable for photos. DJ was unprofessional and ignored the couple’s playlist. Yelled at guests over microphone. Met with couple for first time while they were eating their dinner.

Barker House will get it done!
We loved getting married at Barker House! Everything was perfect. Guests raved about the food, the DJ (Alex) was awesome, and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. Special shout out to our day-of coordinator Reagan, our banquet captain Adiana, and Paige and Noora for making our day so special. We also had several pre-planning meetings with Lilly who answered so many of our early planning questions. The florist team, Seaside Floral, perfectly captured our vision. Thanks team! Fantastic Wedding Venue!
My husband and I got married at Barker House this past weekend and had an excellent experience! We were initially interested in Wedgewood’s all inclusive style and then fell in love with the charm of the Barker House venue. The staff were very helpful and eager to step in where they were able. There were many house decorations the coordinator helped set out for us. She even handled some of our signage for us! We chose the elite package, which included most vendors. Seaside Florals and Guilty Bakery were both great to work with. Selecting options included with our package and purchasing add ons was seamless. Both vendors are very familiar with the venue, which made day of set up/drop off effortless for us as the couple. Overall, I would highly recommend Barker House for a couple looking for an all inclusive venue. We feel that we got a fantastic value, especially given how easy the planning process was for us. Our wedding was a blast and we got numerous compliments from our guests. The food and drinks were delicious! Our coordinator, Nicole, was so helpful! Party was great! 10/10 wedding and planning experience!
