About this venue
This historic space has been outfitted with every modern amenity to be the ideal space to host the perfect wedding. We provide a non-traditional venue so that our clients have a blank slate to start from and can make the space their own. Without any décor, the soaring ceilings and cement walls feel "industrial chic" but clients can transform the space with glitz and glam, rustic touches, romantic lighting, modern lines, whimsical details, and vintage furniture. If you can dream it, it can be done at Olio. Located just North of Boston, Massachusetts, in the heart of New England, the venue is conveniently located and easily accessible to Logan Airport and nearby accommodations and attractions. Gorgeous space and wonderful staff
Olio was an amazing and beautiful venue! I can’t speak highly enough of the kind staff and gorgeous space. The venue worked wonderfully for our small wedding, but also would have worked well for a much larger event. We found Olio through a list of wedding vendors who were temporarily offering free and discounted services to LGBTQ couples. Olio’s staff was communicative and helped connect us with additional vendors in the area. We highly recommend Olio for your wedding or other special event :)

We had our wedding at Olio in April 2025, and it was the perfect venue. We wanted something with an industrial vibe and large space, but the beautiful hardwood floors, ability to customize the space, and the welcoming owner, Sarah, are what truly sold it for us! As an LGBTQ couple, the most important thing to us was to be surrounded by people who support us. Sarah has created an inclusive place for all. Through her venue she is able to uplift a diverse range of communities and cultures. This shows to be a priority to Olio, so if you are looking for welcoming and inclusive, this is the place to be! The space itself is beautiful and has the option to bring in basically any kind of decor you could want. They offer several in house add ons including the string lights we chose to do. Olio provided a large list of preferred vendors, with the option to bring in any other vendors with approval. We used several from the preferred list and they were all amazing! The day of our wedding ran flawlessly. The Olio staff, along with our day of coordination (Without a Hitch), created a welcoming environment for our guests and ensured the day ran smoothly. We highly recommend Olio for any event you might be planning if you are looking for a special, welcoming, and beautiful venue!

We had the absolute best experience at Olio for our wedding! From our very first tour, we were blown away by the space. Olio is modern, flexible, and full of character, but what really made everything exceptional was working with Sarah, the venue manager. She is organized, responsive, and incredibly thoughtful. It’s clear she truly cares about each couple’s experience, and she helped us feel confident and excited every step of the way. She also fully embraced our disco garden wedding dreams! We also worked with Sarah’s other company, Without A Hitch, for our day-of coordination and were lucky enough to be paired with Ashley — she was amazing! Ashley was calm, professional, and on top of every detail. She kept everything running smoothly behind the scenes so we could be fully present and just enjoy the day. We didn't worry about a thing. The team at Olio and Without A Hitch made our wedding feel so seamless. We are so grateful to have had such caring, experienced pros in our corner. We eloped at this incredible venue, and we can't say enough about how wonderful our experience was. As a queer couple, it's been a little uncertain with the changing climate around queer rights, I found out through Zola that Olio was doing free services for queer couples. This venue went above and beyond to make sure our day was nothing short of perfect. They were not only accommodating but genuinely supportive and flexible with every request we had. From helping us with the lighting and guiding us on where to get the chairs, to allowing us to take photos inside before the ceremony because of the freezing weather, their kindness and attention to detail made us feel truly special. They even took behind-the-scenes photos and shared them with us, capturing moments we’ll treasure forever. A special shoutout to Sarah, who was always amazing with communication. She answered all our questions so quickly and with such warmth, which made everything so much easier and stress-free. The team made our elopement feel like an intimate celebration, and we couldn't be more grateful for their help in making our day so beautiful. If you're looking for a venue that supports queer couples and provides top-notch service, this is absolutely the place!
