About this venue
This historic space has been outfitted with every modern amenity to be the ideal space to host the perfect wedding. We provide a non-traditional venue so that our clients have a blank slate to start from and can make the space their own. Without any décor, the soaring ceilings and cement walls feel "industrial chic" but clients can transform the space with glitz and glam, rustic touches, romantic lighting, modern lines, whimsical details, and vintage furniture. If you can dream it, it can be done at Olio. Located just North of Boston, Massachusetts, in the heart of New England, the venue is conveniently located and easily accessible to Logan Airport and nearby accommodations and attractions. We hosted our wedding at Olio in early August and simply had the best experience. From the moment we met Sarah on our tour, I felt like we were in good hands with the space and every single person who worked there and/or was associated with it. The building felt both modern and historic, and we loved the surprise of the lofted ceilings and twinkling lights once we stepped up the stairs. Olio was an great size for our 90 person event, and Sarah (and her team at Without a Hitch) helped us plan exactly the wedding we wanted, which included large rented palm trees, arcade games, a Richie's Slush cart with umbrella, even a surprise visit from Santa Claus...at Olio it all worked out. Folks say it a lot, but it was truly a blank canvas and our Olio wedding was perfectly personalized for us. The space was spotless, had great parking and directions for guests and vendors, and made for epic photos. Highly recommend this memorable venue (and the incredible professionals behind it).

Looking for a more âblank slateâ industrial-style venue, we found Olio, and we could not be happier with our decision! Sarah was an absolute gem to work with. From the moment we saw the incredibly detailed website, it was the clear choice! Sarah was extremely communicative and helped us with every question and concern we had quickly. They also provided us with tons of behind-the-scenes content on the day of the wedding. The venue was gorgeous and spacious, and exceeded our expectations for our special day. When we were searching for our wedding venue, we had a short list of things that we wanted to make our wedding perfect. It had to be easily accessible for people who couldn't drive, be an excellent backdrop for photos, allow us to showcase our personalities, and also be affordable. The Olio was the perfect playground for all of this. The moment we stepped foot into the venue during the tour, we knew it was the right space for us. Sarah walked us through the space and gave us the history of the building and explained all of the things that we could do with their wide open floorplan and historic wood paneled floors. But you could immediately tell that she wasn't just trying to sell the space and get another booking. She cares about each potential client and wants to make sure that your special day is perfect. This sentiment extends to the whole Olio team that we worked with throughout the process as well. We booked the venue almost a full year in advance of our actual wedding day and throughout that entire year, any email we sent was answered in-depth within 48 hours. For a venue that holds special events year-round, that turn-around time is incredible. That kind of personalized attention also extends to the wedding day itself. Their onsite staff made sure to check in with us constantly to make sure we had everything we needed and were incredibly easy to work with in regards to picking up/ dropping off decorations. If we were to get married again, we'd pick the Olio as the venue again in a heartbeat. You truly cannot go wring with this space and this team.

Olio was an amazing and beautiful venue! I canât speak highly enough of the kind staff and gorgeous space. The venue worked wonderfully for our small wedding, but also would have worked well for a much larger event. We found Olio through a list of wedding vendors who were temporarily offering free and discounted services to LGBTQ couples. Olioâs staff was communicative and helped connect us with additional vendors in the area. We highly recommend Olio for your wedding or other special event :)
